Hi I'm a Human, and was helped by Thaniel Lockhart (hedgehug). I now have an apartment and soon to get a job. Hedgehug was the first one to greet me and advised me to do the tutorial first. What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you become or create a character to pretend to be. But it is not just that: to roleplay you must truly want to become your character and imagine you are your character. Roleplaying is alot more fun with other people or at least a partner so you will have a story to tell and back up if you get into any fights.. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you start to slip out of character where you start to say or do things that your character would not do or say in the roleplay. It is also when the player has knowledge of things that the character should not be aware of. What is powergaming?: Powergaming is when you do something that controls both your character and another's in roleplay. For example lets say my character is Bob and someone else's is Jeff. If I said Bob kills Jeff, that effects both of our characters and also is controlling the other in a way because i said i killed Jeff, The person who is controlling him may not thing he is going to die whereas if i said Bob attempts to kill Jeff, I'm not controlling Jeff i'm only atempting to kill Jeff. (I'm sorry if that was a bad explanation, I'm terrible at explaining things) In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Cutlass Character’s sex: Female Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 20 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): When she was three, she was left in Vivec by her parents, for they went to attack the city of Kal'Akash. But before they left they enchanted her so she would not age until she was taken in by and elf. After what might of been hundreds of years, one old, fragile elf finally found her and took her in. He taught Cutlass everything she needed to know on how to fight and how to survive in the forest. What Cutlass didn't know was that Vivec was the home of all the dark elves so all the dark knowledge that the old elf had was transferred to her. Soon She became a strong fighter and knew every nook and cranny of Vivec. When she was fourteen, the old elf finally allowed her to explore the forest alone. She traveled for miles around collecting herbs and berries for her elf master. As she was exploring, she met a group of knights from the Grand kingdom of Urguan. The guards and Cutlass held a long conversation until the stars began to twinkle. As the end of conversation dawned, the guards asked who looked after her. Naturally her reply was an old merchant elf who had a strange collection of items. A shield was hit into her head and she was knocked out and thrown into a prison. When she woke up, she was confused of her whereabouts until she realized of where she was: A prison! For weeks, she just sat there, sitting in tears and blood, staring up and praying for help over and over again. When all her hope was lost on escaping, the old elf freed her and some old friends. As Cutlass, the elf and his friends were running out of the prison, the greatest guards in all of Kal'Akash just happened to notice them.Run! The wind carried their feet into safety and freedom. Everyone was safe and alive. A part from the old, dark elf. Now Cutlass just wanders around the regions looking for travelers to black mail, hoping to find the family of the guards to kill. Youtube, GizzyGazza was playing it and I decided it looked fun Character’s name: Cutlass The Assassin Character’s sex: Female Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 20 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): She was left in the woods for many years until a mysterious mage took her in and raised her. She was taught combat and defense so she could protect herself. When she was 14, she was finally allowed to explore the woods on her own and decided to explore further than she should have... While in the woods she met another human, he was about the same age as her. Hours passed as they chatted until the boy asked who looked after her. She replied with the mage of the darkened forest. What she didn't understand that the mage was evil and he had taught her evil things. The boy knocked her out and carried her to the castle where she was thrown into the prison. More years passed as she sat lonely in the cell until the mage came to rescue her.He discuised himself as a guard and slipped into the prison to free her. Just as she had been freed, the real guards noticed her escape and began to chase them through the castle. As Cutlass escaped, the mage didn't. He was captured and beheaded and killed. Cutlass made her way to the forest to start her forest life again. Now she waits for travelers to pass by, when she will jump down and ask them for money or if they refuse...kill them...
