[!] The Journey [!]
[!]
A ship depicting the journey to Aedro
The first part of an overarching story!
It was the day after Ser Jacques “le fondateur” Sauvageot had been slaughtered by the Empire. His wife Belle and three sons, Jean, Lumiere, and Valentin and daughter Marie, along with Jacques sister, the grand chevalier, Dame Noemie “la honnête” Sauvageot, prepared themselves for the long journey ahead of themselves, to make the trip back to Aedro from where they came from. After saying goodbye, the family, fortunately with more food and jewels from the new land, would be going back to the once plagued land of Aedro. The people had once left the land because of the plague that spread upon it. Now after time, it would be gone and the family could reforge and claim the land for themselves because of the downfall of the Rosier family. The sea was calm, the waves not much as it took two months to reach their lands. Upon arriving at Aedro, the Sauvageot family found themselves in the old city of Matia, completely ruined by the plague and war that had gone down upon the land. Upon trailing around the island they found themselves upon the bustling capital of Rosenyr, the once crowned jewel to the Rosier family now seen fully capable of running themselves the people leading instead of a crowned prince. Upon docking the ships the people quickly rushed to find that instead of a Rosnian prince arriving it was the honorable chevalier family. Upon explaining what had happened in the descendants’ land, the people did not know what to expect. The family in ruins, the last of the Rosnian people to survive the new world, had now found themselves in a city that had no real leader. The people told the Sauvageot they may reside in the palace until the people could decide what to do, now that there was a new Prince back in the city….

The Eiriksson Seal would be found stamped upon the letters sent out to all Ruric’s.
(If you are not a Ruric please don’t respond or metagame.)
“ To my family,
Although my father was not the best man, he did his best with what he was handed. Soon after arriving with the Eiriksson’s return, his father went away on a trip, and slowly the Eirikssons vanished with him the last in the city. Upon hearing the issues of the Realm after the building of See’s landing he went out to farm the fields of Lunsbeck hoping that he could do his part to support the people of Norland providing the wheat for all of the realms to provide bread for the less fortunate. My father was a kind yet generous man always doing what he thought would help others before himself. He took care of my brother Frode, and my sister Estrid. Upon the last days of his life, his ‘wife’ kicked him out for not having intercourse with her. She went to Halvar telling him of the misdeeds he had done. Instead of caring what he had done for the people of Lunsbeck she denounced him because he would rather help than have intercourse with her. I hope with writing this letter I am able to lighten the mood upon my father’s last days in the city of Morsgrad. Torn about his daughter running away writing how she felt in her journal, how the city had mistreated her for being an Eiriksson, how the faith thought of her as a lesser. She felt that only the King himself actually treated her like a real person. If you are reading this dear Sister please return home. I cannot do this alone. Our father has left big shoes to fill and I hope that I may be able to do his part unless any of the other Eirikssons wish to return and take his place. I hope that with enough guidance I can put claim upon the old island of Mournstone that I can keep our families Ash Tree alive and healthy while establishing our manor with the help of a few others. I believe we may be growing some grapes. ”
-Signed, Vyktor Eiriksson II

-The Adreni-
For centuries the strong willed and hardworking Ardreni have been the backbone of the Realm of Aedro through their agriculture. They are not only relegated to farming however, as they are also considered the artists of Aedro. Often viewed as the most kind and helpful in all the continent, they carry an unusual altruism to them rarely seen anywhere else.
‣The Sacking of Adren
Between Rosenyr and Matria sat the city of Adren. In the hopes of moving the border of Matria, the power hungry prince declared war upon the working city of Adren. This slow, gruelling war at first seemed to be frozen in a stalemate. This spurred the Matrian prince to ally with the Rosnian prince, bringing an abrupt, swift end to the war and claiming the land for the Matrians and Rosnians. The following sack of the city was the worst attack in history against the Adreni, committed during this bloody war with the Matrians and Rosenyr.
‣The Faith of Aedro
Unsurprising for the most religious people in the land, The Ardreni established the faith that would be worshiped throughout all of Aedro once all the four principalities were united under Rosenyr. The faith worships many gods suc Heruparkraat, the god of war.
https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/178084-the-faith-of-rosenyr/
‣The Way of Life
Working has always been essential to the lives of the Adren people. This mindset was reflected in their fashion, often seen in basic clothes and soft colors made to resist the wear and tear of working on a farm. This simplicity can be deceiving however, as there are notable Adreni people known to be master musicians and poets, along with the occasional few who have become actors and actresses. Although most live life dedicated to their agriculture, they also commit themselves to benevolence, spending their day to day life eager to help all they may come across.
5 -
-The Matrians-
The Matrian’s date back soon after recorded history began within the Realm of Adreo, home of the Rosnian people. The Matrian’s originate from the Principality of Matria most notable for their achievements during war often seen as the fighters of the realm. Due to the savage ways the folk are seen as brutal fierce warriors that stain their name.
‣The Way of Life
The Matrian people commonly wear their iron or leather armor around for daily life always prepared for battle. Many smiths and leather workers are seen throughout the city preparing new gear or repairing it from previous battles. Matrian war heroes are often worshiped and put up on pedestals.
‣Crowning of the Matrian Prince
For the Matrian people their prince has always been the best fighter out of their principality. Most Matrian princes have been depicted as war heroes who come home from a victory and challenge the current ruling prince to an honor duel often causing the prince title to change to different families frequently.
‣The Hundred Year War
The Hundred Year War is often depicted as the downfall to the Matrian’s greed. The war started with Matria sending a full on assault against the Lyrani people. The peaceful folk of Larine had no chance against the militaristic principality of Matria, Larine quickly falling to the Matrians. The second part of the war was when the Principality of Rosenyr sent a full force against Matria. Although Matria split between two cities was not prepared to defend. The city was able to create a stalemate making the war last longer than it was needed. Matria having enough time to send word for their troops to return home to defend their own city. Unfortunate for the people was the Rosnians outsmarted the city by sending troops by their coast attacking the city from two fronts leaving Matria in rubble forcing a surrender under Roseynr. This led to the united Realm of Aedro.

The Clans of Lunsbeck
Lunner
The current ruling family of Lunsbeck, the Lunner clan maintains a distinct Lunsian Culture. The Lunner clan follows a religion of Ancestor worship wherein the dead are revered and honored. The clan itself is primarily matriarchal, boasting women of reputable warrior status and ideals, not only this but they boast the ability to maintain large quantities of agricultural space and related things. Lunner’s are able to be identified for their natural white hair and gifts with bearded axes! Men of this clan are fairly tall, averaging around 6'2" whilst the women fallow suit, averaging around 6ft tall. Both men and women have a natural physique, though it will rapidly deteriorate should it not be maintained. Its stated that their favour of axes comes back to Karina Lunner's great grandmother, who supposedly took an axe into battle that induced her with rage, and that Karina's Great grandfather shot a stringless bow, that left a trail of ash behind. Because of this the current heirloom passed down to the next of kin is said bow, and a bearded axe. The Lunner clan has gained marital relations within the Eiriksson clan, as Karina Lunner and Vyktor Eiriksson married. The current Chieftess, and Matriarch, of the Lunner clan is Karina.
Eiriksson
The Eirikssons take up the mantle of the Governors of Lunsbeck, there they manage the largest farms in the entire Highland Realm, feeding many of the people across the various vassals and protectorates of Norland. From past kings often seen as the saviors of Norland having Eirik "The Great" save Norland from falling. The Eirikssons have long been a staple throughout Norland's History always doing their part. Often seen doing whatever it takes for the greater good of the realm. Historically seen as the most humble of the Rurikkid clans. The telling signs of an Eiriksson is the dull Ruric blue eyes and the Jet Black Ruric hair. The current Chieftain is Vyktor
Batory
A clan that controls part of the land in the County of Lunsbeck. Family members follow the ancient culture of their ancestors - Lechitians. The structure of the clan is patriarchy, so the oldest male in the family plays the strongest role. Because of its culture, the family does not follow the canonist church but worships many gods from its own mythology. Among the members of the clan, the cult of death is important, because it is believed that those who die get their place among the gods on the island of Volin where they lead a happy life and send blessings to the faithful members of the family. Men always undergo military training so that they can protect the family from danger in the future. The clan maintains friendly relations with the Lunner family. Clan members are usually tall and have dark hair contrasting with their deep blue eyes. The current family patriarch is Aleksander III.
du Rennais
A clan that finds it's holdings in the County of Lunsbeck. The clan is primarily dominated by women due to a spell of unfortunate births that forced the structure to change from a Patriarchy to a Matriarchy, though still holding true to many of it's Patriarchal roots. All members undergo informal military training from the age of ten years old to ensure that they can defend themselves when travelling. Primarily the family occupies mercantile and craftsman trades, primarily carpentry and architecture. Clan members are typically of average height, and keep fit through constant activity and very action-oriented employment preferences, they uniformly have amber coloured hair, and the colour of their eyes vary. The current Matriarch is Nephelaire "Mutt" du Renais.
Parente
The Parente's are Lunsbeck's only family that focuses on its military, boasting a family of all marauders and war-time engineers. They are a rare sight within Lunnish land for sure, as often not they seal themselves behind thick steel gates in their keep, or are not in the county at all as they are off picking fights. The men and women of the Parente are shorter in stature, males average around 5'7"/5'8" whilst women average around 5'6"/5'7". They are naturally athletic, their not overly large forms allow them to swiftly fell foes as opposed to brutish strikes. Members of the Parente clan have fairly unique blue eyes, akin to diamonds, with golden blonde hair - and often not adorn colourful fabrics on their armour. The current family patriarch is "One Armed" Henry Parente.

Mysterious as that is, the O’Hara clan never sticks to one main profession within the family and currently all of the O’Haras are spread around Arcas. However, the true O’Hara chieftain of this time, Thor O’Hara, remains loyal to Norland as per King Caedrics wish.

A painting of a Lunsbeck farm.
The Lunnik harvest festival is an annual celebration that occurs around the time of the main harvest of a given region. Given the differences in climate and crops around Lunsbeck, the Lunnik harvest festival typically features feasting, both family and public, with foods that are drawn from crops that come to maturity around the time of the festival. Ample food and freedom from the necessity to work in the fields are two central features of harvest festivals: eating, merriment, contests, music and romance are common features of the Lunnik harvest festivals around the world.

Lunsbeck
[!]
The sign of Lunsbeck
Lunsbeck is filled with a diverse crowd of folk; from the daily life of the farmers and hunters, to the guards and rangers protecting the town from raiders. Due to the massive trees of the Aedellands most of the houses are built with wood along with the thatch roofs used from massive fields of Wheat. From day to night the citizens of Lunsbeck are active with many activities from hunting the wild game, to fishing and farming. The fields provide food to their families and to Morsgrad keeping the nation of Norland well fed.

Folk av Lunsbeck
[!]
A painting of the town.
The Folk av Lunsbeck are peaceful folk during times of peace. Focused upon tending to their herds of cows and flocks of sheep. The women of Lunsbeck are given freedom just like the men due to their strong nature and hard work ethic. The Folk av Lunsbeck are also known for their exquisite trade goods from the Lunner Axe [Viking Axe], Lunser Bow [Curved Bow], the Lunnish Red and Lunnick(Wine) both excellent wine choices. Although during times of war the Lunnick Marauders are seen as brutal and brash the County Guard and Rangers are there to protect the citizens during all hours of the day and protect the livestock of the land.

Faith of The Fallen
[!]
A Painting depicting a fallen being prayed for.
The folk av Lunsbeck are very focused on honouring the dead, or as they more formally label them 'The Fallen'. They often build pyres or structures of wood and light them, flanking it with braziers and allowing the people to mourn together, offer gifts and such to deceased family members or even honour the dead after a failed defence or attack. When a soldier or citizen is slain the people of Lunsbeck build a burial ship sending it off into the water and set it aflame as they pray for the fallen.
[!]

County Guard & Rangers
Rangers are the protectors of the land of the County of Lunsbeck, protecting not only the citizens but the wildlife as well. They play an important part in Lunnik society helping anyone in need and assisting Morsgrad with any type of war-related issue. The perks of being a ranger is as follows, you don't have to pay Lunsbeck any type of resource, you will fight with full loyalty. A ranger's weapon according to culture is the Lunser Bow [Curved Bow] the bow being 135Cm total (53.2 inches) that is made easy to handle. The whole bow is made from dull grey wood with the tails and limbs being reinforced with a more bendable and durable lighter finish. With a string pull of 85lbs to bring the bow to its max potential. However, swords are gladly used as well as a symbol of respect and power of the forest.
Although smaller in numbers due to the more mundane task, yet a more honourable task is to serve the county guard and to directly aid and form patrols of the roads and woods. They are seen far more frequently and often adorn a uniform. The county Guard is split up between the Guard and The Rangers.

Lunnick Marauders
[!]
A painting of a Marauder and his usual gear.
Often are the fierce, intimidating marauders of Lunsbeck spotted during skirmishes and dedicated to war. Those who do not hold the patience or peaceful resolve that the guards or rangers hold will elevate to a Marauder and dedicate their existence to a less active life and to a more conflict-fuelled life. It is often these men who take part in the raids rather than taking care of the citizens and animals.

A Lunsbeck Merchant weighing his minas.
In Lunsbeck the merchants are very particular about their money. Most are seen carrying around Folding scales which they use to weigh their minas and make sure they get fair trade with what they buy. The merchants of Lunsbeck travel up to Morsgrad to sell their goods that are created from the Adellands rather it be their strategic weapons or the raw hay to bake bread. Lunsbeck provides the raw grain and lumber for Morsgrad from the very fertile Aedellands. Another specialty of Lunsbeck is the creative wines created from the wild grapes found growing on the walls of the Lunner Estate and Eiriksson keep.

Craftsmanship
In Lunsbeck most goods are made by the citizens from either their own home or in one of the many buildings dedicated to smithing, woodworking and brewing. The working class makes sure that by doing everything by hands it comes out to perfection. The Lunner Bow is a specialty only found in the lands of Lunsbeck the curve of the bow allowing for a more accurate and powerful shot. The Lunner Axe forged with Norlandic steel and Aedelland lumber each handle crafted with care showing a master woodworker at work.

[!] A New Age of Change [!]
[!]
A painting depicting the city upon the arriving of the Sauvageots.
The Second Part to an Overarching Story.
It was the next day since the family had returned home to Aedro. The family was torn by the loss, still mourning for the late prince. Their arrival to the citizens brought worries that they might force all under a new prince once more. Though it was not all bad, as the family did bring the new-found wealth that was discovered in the descendants’ land. After hearing the city streets begin to make a bustling noise, Jean Sauvageot walked out of the old Rosier palace to speak with the citizens, finding out all that had happened since the plague had once forced them out of their land. After speaking to a few of the merchants and townsfolk Jean came to the conclusion that the plague had forced Adren, Matria, and Larne to merge all into Rosenyr. What had once been four principalities all merged together in a single landmass came down to all being confined in one city. The mass population killed by the plague. Jean then began to speak around asking who was leading, how the city managed to stay strong when the others left scared of dying by the plague. Jean had come to the conclusion that the population was now run by the people, a small group of leaders elected by the people formed into a small parliament. Once figuring this out Jean quickly ran back to his family, making sure to tell him all of what he had found letting them know that they were welcomed, but the people were hesitant to have a prince once more. Yet, luckily for Jean, his father was already once elected by the people albeit in a new land. After a few days of parliament meeting, they decided to meet with the family upon signing into law a new constitution one that allowed the people to elect a leader but also left the ruling family power so that they too may help lead the people. The power where the Rosnian Prince was still above all but, the people had a vote and a voice….
