Hello and good day fellow members of lotc. I am writing this today to help give you a few simple steps on how to stop being toxic and to continue living a non toxic life.
- The first step is to not be Toxic, yes I know its hard and it gets the best of us but you have to treat others with kindness and be the best you.
- The next step is for you to live a carefree life, if you care about pixels and losing items, you are doing something wrong. This is just a game so untoxicify and have fun.
- Remember to enjoy yourself in rp if you are doing something you dont enjoy stop doing it, you want to do something you enjoy and you know that putting in all this time and effort into the game that it is worth it.
- The last step is to just find a group that accepts who you are and find a group that you enjoy doing things with.

Festival de la ville de Bourgogne
In honor of the Coronation of Jacques Sauvageot, The Order of the Red Rose and House Sauvageot would like to host a festival for all in the name of his majesty and in celebration of his recent crowning.
Events and Activities
The Entrance Feast
To start the arrival of attendees and those who wish to partake in the festivities, a feast will be held to fill the empty bellies of squires and knights of the realm pre-battle. The food will be cooked by only the expert chefs of Rosenyr, as guests are not expected to bring their own food.
The Royal Theatre Presents… “Hamlet”
Adapted by the great poet Timeo de la Baltas, the play will be the centerpiece of the free evening. The tourney stage will be replaced by the setting of the play, and then actors will reenact the ‘Hamlet’. Actors will later offer their signatures to adoring fans!
The Grand Joust
The Releasing of the Lanterns
The releasing of the lanterns, the ending part of the festival and the most peaceful and relaxing part of it all. This is just what you need when it's time to head back home.

CORONATION OF JACQUES

Circa; 13th of the Grand Harvest, 1700
[!] Bells rang and citizens cheered. Men looked on in awe and women threw flowers with joy in their hearts. The Principality, brought to life by the celebrations, saw its people chant prayerful notes in the wake of a new High-Prince. [!]
Within these past recent years, Jacques Sauvageot, beloved Prince and champion of his people, has proven himself the worthy claimant to the title of High-Prince of Rosenyr. A valiant and noble man, leading his land back from the brink of stagnation and the collapse.
Thus, it should be without question, by the judgement and the guidance of the Gods themselves, thy Prince claim dominion over Rosenyr. Thus, it should be without question, by the voices and the will of the people themselves, thy Prince be made protector of the realm.
These fruitful times call for celebrations. Festivities and formalities, bringing all who seek unity together as brothers and sisters. So in good faith, the Principality of Rosenyr invites everyone, landed or serf, noble or common folk, to celebrate this very special occasion with us!

Ser Jacques Sauvageot, would read the letter that was sent to Louis as he was now the High Prince. He would read it seeing how they just executed his people, and now they call for peace. He took the letter turned to his wife and kids and said. “**** this.” He would then stand up from his desk walk over to their hearth and toss it into the fire.

Declaration of Revolution

[!] The people of Rosenyr grow tiresome as papers scatter every corner of the principality and are given to the passerbying people of the other many human nations by the ever growing aggravated Rosnian population.
On this day, the people of Rosenyr stand idly by while their culture dwindles, and their hearts grow heavy with avoidable burden.
The people had come here on a single goal; To find solace in these new lands and be free of the soul shivering plague that riddled them before the great departure. However, the upkeep of these lands has dragged through the mud the greatest of soldiers and strongest of leaders, and left in its wake only a dreadful silence and sorrowful regret that does not even stir the ground beneath them. Quietude flows through the veins of the nation, not a soul to be seen in a thousand peripherals of the most gifted.
The High Prince lay in his bed of ashes, too ill and too tormented to lead in any way as death walks a muffled path to his bedside slowly. The High Princess lays in a bed of gold and silver. Her entitled prerogative stays dormant into the sky and reaches the furthermost point of her population, and accompanied by precious jewels carved from the hand of the crone and the unfortunate. Her spendings remain frivolous and excessive and her behaviors disastrous to the little coin that were left from the depleted royal coffers during the Exodus.They watch from the sky in their chateau as the ones who will witness the undoing of their morale and reputation.
Leaders have withered out along with the soul of the Principality, until the poor were left to grieve their own nation. The population was now left a skeleton of its original state and left to fend for themselves and compete with the rest of the rabble.
The Rosnian peoples will not stand by while our nation fades into the land, nor will the population tolerate the obvious neglect by the Royals, no matter the miniscule amount we will have left at the end of the day. Even if it takes the heads of many and the bones of the weak, Rosenyr shall not fall to it’s sovereign’s forsaking of itself.

The Rosnian Ball of 1697
[!]Throughout the lands, squires and pages bearing the standards of The Principality of Rosenyr depart from the palace, arriving to the various lords and ladies of the realm to deliver a message of the utmost importance.
“Ladies and respectable men of the the Principality of Rosenyr,
you are formally invited to the Rosnian Ball of 1697 in commemoration of love and the finer traditions in life. Let us all celebrate and cherish each other as a people and bring joyous memories on this fine day. There shall be music to dance to, and cuisine to enjoy as the celebration moves on into the night. Formal attire is encouraged to ensure the night’s expected amount of elegance to be upheld.”
Ser Jacques and Lady Belle Sauvageot do hope that all those invited are able to attend their joyous occasion to celebrate their love for each other.

A Wedding for a de Savin

The sound of bells began to rang from the church. Royalty and nobles even commoners a like took their seats in the pews as they waited for the wedding to start. The groom awaited in the front of the church, a smile on his face as he waited for his bride to be to walk down the aisle. Once everyone took their seat and got quiet the bride began to walk down the aisle, Lady Giovanna.
She stood in front of her husband, a small smile on her face as the priest began to speak. He would continue his words, the church quiet except for his voice echoing throughout it. Finally he finished and the bride and groom said their vows, smile on both of their faces as words were exchanged. Sliding a ring on each other's fingers before the priest finally said.
"You may kiss the bride."They exchanged a kiss, Giovanna turning to her family with a bright smile on her face. Clapping and cheering filled the church. As the pair official tied the knot binding them as one.

The Festival of the Red Rose

The Battles of Brawn
Men will battle it out with training swords to prove who is stronger, till the other side gives up and surrenders, or is hurt so bad they cannot endure any longer to continue fighting.
The winners will receive a present on behalf of his majesty.
The Honor Duel
Two men will fight with their armor and sword to gain victory over the other, in a classic Chevalier style duel. The Grand Chevalier will be paying attention for young squires to attend so that he can help teach them to fight for the Realm and the Order of the Red Rose. The winner of the duel will receive a Red Rose, and maybe the favor of a lucky lady.

The Exit Gala
Guests will later move towards the courtroom, which will then be prepared into a hall for dancing, ending the festivities with a dance and feast to celebrate those who have participated in the duels. Attendees must wear their best costume and choice fashionistas could dress depicting a heroine or figure of the realm, with no boundaries on who the figure is. Performing again will be Timeo de la Baltas and his merry band!

House Sauvageot
“Devoir, Honneur, Courtoisie et Bravoure”
Background
House Sauvageot participated in the Hundreds Years war and are known for their advanced skill set. For this military prowess, they were ascended to the nobility, joining the finest of bloodlines loyal to House of Rosenyr. Their father, Ambroise, gained the honour of commanding the Order of the Red Rose, as The First Grand Chevalier, during the final year of the war upon the Matrians. It is commonly believed that it was he, who led the first men into the assault upon the Matrian lands. Their mother, Elloise, was a strong, steadfast, woman who raised the family to be worthy of their place. To the sadness of their family, both were taken by the plague leaving their eldest son, Jacques, to ascend to the patriarchy. Along with his brothers, Jean, Thibault and sister Apollinat, they embarked upon the great journey, to the new world. Jacques soon appointed Jean to head the Household Guard and began to establish himself and his family as strong members of the courts in Roesnyr. He was entrusted with the reformation of the Order of the Red Rose, by permit of the High Prince, Louis II
Appearance
Their kin have locks as straight as the bone, spun like gold, glimmering in the light of the sun. Their skin would be farer than those who worked the fields, their hands built to wield a rapier. The eyes would be the colour of a warm hazelnut, their bodies approximately the height of 5’8”, enabling them to move quickly in the face of combat.
Fighting Style
Their family history enables them with a mastery over the rapier, allowing them to utilise its swiftness to ensure a quick victory within the field of combat.
Values
The family devoutly follows the Chivalric Codes, paying homage to honour, courtesy and bravery. Entrenched within the family is the need to serve the people with integrity, honesty and bravery, vowing to protect those who they are responsible for.

Establishment of the Duchy
With a thunderous crash, the Kingdom of Santegia splintered into a few pieces, brothers and sisters torn apart as petty squabbles turned into bloodshed. While standing amongst it all was Sabir de Savin, his gaze lay upon crumbling stone - the product of his familes opposing allegiances - watching as the wind carried the cold dust over every blade of grass and leaf, watching as the showers of rain bled the sanguine stains deep into the dirt below.
One would lay eyes upon the meadows of Valencia, a sea of fading green sprinkled with a cacophony of colours; blue orchids, red poppies, and tall alliums with their flamboyant purple petals, dancing.
Lay of the Lands

Apart from the natural beauty of its lands, the Duchy serves as a strong commercial and strategic base for the family of the de Savins.
Perched upon staggering cliffs, overlooking the bay to the east, lay the palace of Valencia; a product of grand opulence and polished tastes, its walls adorned with etched white stone which glistens in the summer sun, its floors a mixture of refined marble and ornate mahogany planks, and its dwellings the most extravagant of any in Archas are embellished in exotic vibrant murals.
The palace has over fifty rooms and halls, a central quadrangle and an enclosure which, it is the home to the House of de Savin, and the ducal court, while also containing all the amenities available for budding apprentices who wish to gain experience within the palace grounds.

Members of the court are representatives of the Duchy and its people, given the responsibilities and powers to administer the Duchy on the Duke’s behalf; although any and all legal motions made must still be passed through the Duke, or regent if circumstances permit such an arrangement, who has the right to veto any decisions made. Although, members are not bound to the peerage of the Duchy, and are not limited to race or gender, each member is a specialist with extensive knowledge and experience in their relevant fields.
