Dear House de Castro,
It is time for someone to take action of the house that has gone so far from its former glory. It is time for a change. I invite every de Castro member to come back to our manor in Santegia once more, so we can regain our former strength. I will become patriarch as our previous one has gone missing.
I myself have done wrongs to our own house, but it is time we move past our differences and become one again. I wish I would have taken action sooner, but now the times are changing and so will we. As soon as you come to Santegia, find me at once, and I will get your room sorted with and find you a place to stay. I will make sure you are fed and treated well, while we become what we once were -- a house to be reckoned with.

Your council member, Evark Evocress, is mad and has claimed to the late Varen’thal Len’irrin to have us all under his influence. Futile lies, in an attempt to scare us.

GRAND MARSHAL
The man tasked, by the Grace of the King, with complete oversight of military affairs, and the authority expected therein to complete desired goals. During wartime the Grand Marshal conscripts a field marshal and assigns him to the battlefield.
FIELD MARSHAL A competent and well seasoned nobleman granted the responsibility to commandeer a professional and mobile force on the battlefield. They, under the supervision of the Grand Marshal, execute the Grand Marshal’s desires, and offer an arsenal of disparate options to the Grand Marshal where necessary.
COMMANDER
A pretty commissioned officer- typically a knight -with power and command over all enlisted soldiers. They may exercise the procession of law within the State.
RANKS OF FOOT
SERJEANT
A veteran soldier who have distinction through medals and honorific deeds. They have reign over lesser soldiers in domestic affairs such as executing the law; in conjunction, they act as guards during peacetime.
MAN-AT-ARMS
Based, backbone soldiers of the military who fight either mounted or dismounted. They are well trained soldiers who are primed to kill without remorse: brutally and effectively in the name of the King. In peacetimes they act as domestic guards of the nation.
FOOTMAN
An initiate soldier who is new to the force and inexperienced. They will be given grunt labour and trained to near excess until they are deemed ready to rise in the ranks. If they are incapable of doing so, they will be removed from the services or offered work elsewhere, in other departments.

CHEF
Someone who bears this role is tasked with providing rations to soldiers and collecting ingredients on their own accord. They may employ an apprentice.
DISCIPLINARIAN
A role given to seasoned men- Serjeants or Knights -namely who are expected to train Men of Foot and discipline troublemakers where necessary.
FIELD SURGEON
A role given to people well-versed in medical knowledge to administer first aid to injured soldiers, and ensuring the overall health of the military.
INITIATION
REQUIREMENTS
One must not be a convicted felon or known enemy of the state. Willing initiates must be physically capable of wielding a weapon and unmaimed in anyway to ensure complete competence on the field of battle.
To elevate to the rank of Serjeant one must possess PURE human blood.

Do you feel that you have a solid grasp on our lore and an understanding of the application standards?: I feel that I have a great aspect of knowledge from the lore of the server. I have found myself on many occasions rummaging through the wiki, and the forums reading many posts that give players an aspect of Rp. I understand how the applications should work; they need to have each definition correct so they know what not to do. I also know they need to have enough proof of understanding of certain lore in their application so they can follow along and not get confused when they join the server.
Why do you want to be an AT member and do you have the ability to work and collaborate with others?: I want to be an AT member so that I can help new players when they join the server, so they are not completely lost when they start out. I am wanting to help with the new players to give them a good experience when they do join the server, player retention can be better than it is now. I have the ability to work and collaborate with others, understanding that it is hard to jump into a server where you do not know anyone, or have little to any clue where to begin.
Beyond reviewing whitelist applications, what ways do you think you would enjoy helping new applicants?: I personally would love to help new players understand how to begin their new journey into LoTC, answering the questions they might have, and sending them on a path how to start on the server. I already love helping the players enter LoTC. I also have a grasp of information of current events that has not seen a wiki page or a forum page that players may not know, but would need to know.
How do you think the server’s application process could be improved?: I think an improvement to the application process would be helping new applicants with continuity mistakes with the dates of birth and current date names on the server. Not many understand that, and it would be a nice thing for them to find out.
Is there anything else you would like to add or that we should know about you?: A Few things about myself is, I enjoy helping others, I usually always help someone in help chat if there's a question I know the answer too, I also Play the Saxophone so take that for what you would like.

Prince Gonzalo de Castro reads the letter with a smirk on his face, he'd stand up walking to his sharpened blade from the battle he had against a rebellion "If the Church wants a war, a war the church will get. I will get my revenge on the Church for killing my dear friend, Demetrios. Long Live Santegia." he'd say picking up his sword and putting it into his sheath, ready for the 'Holy Knights' to come and rampage once more.

Dear Lotc, As you all know Nexus is being removed in 6.0, Why is this a good thing, It is not a good thing. It turns this server into all the other Minecraft servers, with rp. Have you ever gone onto another rp server and found Nexus, the answer is no, and thats what makes Lotc a special place, removing Nexus, removes the Fun aspect of grinding your gear for days, being able to fight, and have to think about your choices. Taking out that grinding makes the server like all the other rp servers. All the Rp crafted items, like all the Food Items, you can no longer be able to rply make your food, so no more difference between Canolie's and pumpkin pies.
Another big factor was Lotc's pvp, it was not like all the kit pvp servers, or a regular faction server. Taking nexus out gives the pvp goons, the ability to run the server and turn it into a factions server, wars will just be a kit pvp server basically nothing really matters because it took two minuets to mine and craft, it is too simple to just make the regular iron armor. All the fun of being able to grind your gear just to be able to fight, will be gone. Diamond armor can go, but Nexus can not, We all love Nexus the way it is, allowing rp professions so we can have multiple people to do all the tasks, it makes you want to be together not apart, it was a well built oil machine removing it, makes one person to make everything.
I was told something that really enlightened me how much nexus was needed, Without nexus the satisfaction or the devastation is gone for losing or gaining gear, now theres no issue in losing gear because it is easy to make, and gaining gear those need because its so easy to craft, nothing would really matter. What would make Lotc different from a factions server. At least in a factions server it makes your loss of gear something, I would rather keep nexus just tweak it in the ways it needs to be tweaked, just remove diamond armor.

"I will avenge you Old friend, no matter the cost, those barbarian savages will go down." he'd clench his fist looking to the painting on his wall of Demetrios' holding the sword Gonzalo had made for him for his eighteenth birthday. "May you rest in peace Prince Demetrios." he'd walk down to his throne room and pop open a bottle of Cat-Daddy Bourbon, and pour him a heft glass, chugging it down, and passing out on the throne.

On the 8th Of The Sun’s Smile 1638, Gonzalo de Castro called a meeting in Trier, to discuss the recent issue of Keintania’s rebellion. Once King Leo de Savin, Hektor de Castro, Abdes de Savin, Demetrios Palaiologos De Savin, Louis de Castro, and Vitaly de Castro entered the meeting hall, Adelmar and Henry stood guard in dragonscale at the door. Gonzalo said “It is time to act, we have let the Keint family run around like Swines. They have since rebelled and it is time to take action against them. All in favor say I.” Abdes was the first to stand up and say “I” next came Demetrios then Vitaly, Hektor and Louis at the same time. At last, Leo gave a firm nod of approval. Once Gonzalo saw everyone was ready for War he went to the table where he had laid a map of the land showing where they shall attack “We will go straight from Hallowfell and go through the front gates of Keintania with dynamite, I’m sure Abdes would handle the dynamite well in his old age.” he said gaining a firm nod and a smirk from the founder of Santegia. “We will leave as soon as everyone gathers their men in Hallowfell.” he exclaimed, gaining nods of approval. As the men went home to prepare for war, Gonzalo started to sharpen his sword to prepare for Battle.

@Balthasar I do my best with my spelling, but in some cases even auto-correct can not help me, I usually search the word on google, but sometimes I am in a rush to search it up, I do have Disgraphia, a form of Dyslexia, now I am not going to blame it all on that, but I will work on my spelling for sure. @tornado241 and @Chorale_ I have changed a lot since my Norland days, I used to be that pvp toxic screamer who just wanted pvp, I believe If I was given a chance to show you that I have come a long way, from being my past self, I would love the opportunity to show you what I have become. @Freischarler I do not believe I have ever called you and your group that, but if I did, I would like to Fully apologize for my actions, It was wrong and uncalled for, I hope one day, we can forget about that and go on.

Moderating the forums is a very time dependant staff position. How much time, on average, would you be able to dedicate to moderating?: I would be able to spend at least 5 hours a day, just in a week day, not including Saturdays and Sundays.
Have you ever held a staff position here on LotC? Do you currently hold any other staff positions? If so, list them and highlight something about the team that you enjoyed/enjoy: I have never held an Lotc staff position, but I have a staff position on the WarHawke Build server, where I keep people from getting banned.

For decades the Kingdom of Norland and the Kingdom of Santegia have had strong ties, an alliance never broken nor tested throughout it’s lifetime. Recent events have once again brought this alliance to the forefront of our nation’s attention. Tensions are rising around the realm, and our two Kingdoms understand it is in our best interest to renew our bonds. The following is a list of renewed agreements between our two Kingdoms, and is to be internationally recognized as a Defensive Pact.
The Kingdom of Norland and the Kingdom of Santegia are from this day, until three saint’s weeks time, bound in a Defensive alliance. The Kingdom of Norland will rally its forces to defend the Kingdom of Santegia if war is declared against the latter. The Kingdom of Santegia will rally all of its forces to defend the Kingdom of Norland if war is declared against the latter. Both nations during the duration of this pact must always rally their respective forces to fight during any and all battle of defence for either side.
If The Kingdom of Norland or The Kingdom of Santegia declare war on another nation, the nation that did not declare war will not be required to fight the other nation’s war.
Additionally, the trade of weapons, armor, equipment or other supplies will not be hindered or taxed between the two Kingdoms during the duration of this treaty, unless agreed upon by both parties.
~Let this treaty stand as an international agreement, and a reminder of the bond our two nations have held and will continue to hold.

Dear Last of the de Castro’s,
It saddens me to hear how you all think that only a child of Elias may lead this house, even though we are all joined by blood and all our contributions work as one. Furthermore, it is saddening to hear that some members of this house consider Renatus as home, despite that our family has never lived in Renatus and are not a part of them, we are born Santegians. I feel it is time - a bigger change comes, and not just a new patriarch. I am sorry it has come to this, but it must be done. To those who shall join me, to stay true to the values of our House, we shall pave the way for a new era for our blood. I call upon you to return to our home, Santegia, where our family has been since the day my father was born. We are true Santegians.
