She was born into a wealthy high elven family. The house of Nilabor was a family of wise musicians and artists who believed in maehr’sae They travelled the world, far and wide in search for inspiration and always seeking more knowledge. Her and her family lived in Anthos. They accommodated a large manor called “the house of Nilaborian”. Their house was named after their founding ancestor Nilabroian. Sadly, it was savagely destroyed. After that grave event, her family moved to Lin’sulan and made a new life for themselves. She was an only child and quite privileged. Her two twin cousins and their mother lived with them, causing her to know what it is like to have a sibling. Her father was a famous Artist named Elthorien and her mother was a famous singer called Artheria. Her cousins were 60 years older than her so they left to become soldiers when she was still young. Her aunt allso decided to leave their home as she wished to travel the world. So when she was around 40 she was alone and with just her parents. But I one sinister night, Athenlya and her mother travelled to a concert in Felsen to perform. But on the way there, their carriage was robbed by bandits and they took her mother with them, clutching tightly on to her as they rode off to the myriad moon. Athenlya never in her life felt so hopeless, so weak, so powerless. So ever since that dreadful day, Athenlya wanted to learn magic and grow stronger so she could fight the evil that lingered in the shadows and maybe be one day find her mother who could be dead or alive. Her father was completely distraught by this. He lived with pain and anger for 60 years. But, he couldn't take it anymore. He grew very ill. All the doctors in the land said its was like he lost the will to live. Like he was dying from a broken heart. Unfortunately, he died when Athenlya was 48. She still was wealthy and owned land, which she inherited from her father. But, she did not want a simple life. So when she turned 120 she left her hometown and decide to travel the world and look for a mage who could teach her what she needed to learn. (374 Words) Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) ~Arlayna is a very charismatic and outgoing person. She sometimes can be perceived as a snob, as she is wealthy, but is generally like by most. She loves animals and nature, and really enjoys a good book. She is quite talented musically and loved theatrical events. However she dislikes dishonest people and hates cowards and has a very insecure hatred for thieves. She is brave, loyal and honest. But at times her bravery can cause her to seem arrogant. She can also come across very flirtatious and alluring as she is outgoing and very beautiful. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) ~Her ultimate goal is to find her mother (if alive) and avenge her (if dead). She also wishes to master magic and also to find true love. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) ~She is a very good singer and quite in touch with nature. She is intelligent and very rational. She is very persuasive and good at public speaking and boosting moral. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) ~ She lets her emotion (especially about her mother) cloud her judgment and therefore can become quite hasty and rash. Her charm and good-looks can cause her to attract the wrong types of men. Her bravery can cause her to do things that could cause her death. Arlayna Roren was born on the 14th of may 1507. She was born into wealthy family in Lin’evaral. Her family moved there after the destruction of Asulon. She was an only child and quite privileged. Her father was a merchant and her mother was just a simple maiden. However, her mother had a secret life as a mage, and accommodated the power to move things with her mind. Therefore, Arlayna inherited this unique gift once her mother died. Arlayna always wanted to travel from a young age. She wished to scale the dwarven mountains and see the world from the Human towers. But her father disagreed. But when the High elves left Lin’evaral, her father and mother were killed by Orc bandits. Luckily, Arlayna survived as her mother protected her with her magic. After that melancholic day Arlayna traveled the world seeking guidance and counselling. She searched far and wide for a mage, who could teach her to develop and enhance her abilities. She now lives in Lin’sulan working as a gardener.
