Huge +1.
I’ve known Nectorist for about three-ish (?) years now; he and I staffed the same server mentioned in his application and I believe he’s one of, if not the most respectful and capable candidates so far. While I may be a bit biased towards him since he’s a close friend of mine, Nect has been an extremely welcoming and helpful individual for at least a dozen or more players on here alone and the comments above me can confirm that to an immense degree.

MC Name: Keening
Character's Name: Asmodeus
Character's Age: N/A
Character's Original Race (N/A if not applicable):
N/A
Transformed form:
Zar'ei
Creator's MC Name:
Deer__
Creator's RP Name:
Mae'lyrra Ithelanen
Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:
There are several types of Inferi, and even more subtypes within the group known as lesser Inferi. There are the Zevn, Imps, which are small and cunning. Then there are the Zekul, Beasts, which are large and powerful. Yet, they are little better than animals. The third type, the Zar’ei, the Twisted Ones, differ from their lesser brethren. They maintain a more humanoid form than their bestial or impish cousins. As a result of maintaining the most of their mortality compared to the other lesser Inferi, they are more intelligent and crafty, making them formidable in battle and difficult to outsmart. Despite their apparent intelligence, though, they’re just as brutal and cruel as their cousins, seeking to fulfill their ambitions with cunning as well as strength.
Although humanoid in appearance, they still maintain a heavy amount of mutations and corruptions along their forms, marking them unmistakably as the monsters they are. The mutations they bare can be anything from small wings, to extra limbs, tails, anything of the sort. As a result of their relatively humanoid form, and because of their higher intelligence, they are better at utilizing their malflame in more efficient and creative ways than other lesser Inferi.
Malflame itself isn’t hot, not being actual fire. The ‘flame’ part of the name comes more from the structure of it, and how it moves and acts like fire would, though very different in it’s properties. It takes on many different shades of color, all slightly unnatural and odd in coloration, depending on the Inferi or Prince in question. Malflame burns directly onto the soul, eating away at it, causing the target agonizing pain. To reach the soul, the malflame needs to be touching the skin of the target, and the target needs to have a soul to be able to touch. This means that malflame cannot affect a target through their clothing, or their armor.
Once malflame makes contact with the flesh or skin of a target, it begins eating away at them, and their soul, ‘burning’ and scorching the area of effect until there is nothing left to burn through, or is stopped by another force. It doesn’t spread up the form, only impacting and scorching the area it makes contact with. The speed of which it burns through said area is dependent of the size of the spell. The more emotes it takes to charge it up, the larger the mass of malflame will be. Manipulation of malflame isn’t really possible, limited to whatever form it is summoned in when first being created. Once it’s summoned into the world, the shape and size cannot be altered.
Do you have a magic(s) you are dropping due to this app? If so, link it:
Nah.
Do you agree to keep the MT updated on the status of your magic app by using the Magic List Errors topic?:
'Course.
Are you aware that if this creature's lore is undergoing an activity trial and that trial fails, you will no longer be able to play this creature and will be forced to either revert the character back to its normal form (if it was a transformative type) or stop playing the character entirely (if it is an entirely new creature)?:
Yessir.
Do you consent to accepting what may happen to this character?:
Yeah.
Have you applied for this creature on this character before, and had it denied? If so, link the app:
Nah, never.

Gaius Mournstone stood rigid at his daughter’s side, a proud smile beaming downwards on Valencia as she finalized the document.
”House Mournstone has entered a completely new age with the signing of this, I hope you know,” he murmured to her plainly, one brow perked. “I imagine our name will spread in the coming Saint’s Month, perhaps less.” Gaius paused, stepping back for a moment.
”I do suppose only time will tell.”
1 -
Gaius Mournstone purses his lips, dipping his head in confirmation as the document is officiated. His gaze is tired and his voice is rife with discontent.
“I had higher hopes for him when I had Albrecht unbanished. Despite his misdeeds, I still feel great remorse for what’s to come. The blood of one Mournstone will never again be spilled at the hands of another.
That said...
Albrecht is no longer a Mournstone. He has condemned himself to this fate.”

Known Soviet for ages, extremely levelheaded dude and completely capable of being a GM.
still a madman for actually posting this though
2 -
“Sometimes, I wonder if my nephew intentionally runs into these messes.” Gaius Mournstone sighed as he read over the document, chuckling to himself towards the end.

+1 -- Super chill guy, very detail-oriented. He'd be a great addition to the Wiki Team.

Gaius Mournstone scrawled out his name at the base of the document, a pleased grin forming on his future. The Vyrannian raised a bottle of Mournstone Mead™ and boomed out in praise; "To the future of House Mournstone and House Fiscere!"
3 -
+1 -- Extremely friendly and great at roleplay. Star would be a fantastic addition to the ET team.
I suggest you add a little more to the events though, just so they're a bit more clear.

Gaius Mournstone leveled his gaze with the signature at the base of the letter. “That was... quick,” he remarked with a quirked brow. “My daughter is truly growing up.”
The Vyrannian meandered out of his tavern, heading towards the Mournstone clanhall to begin preparations.

Yet another big +1 from me.
I've known Nectorist for over two years, bridging at least three. He's got amazing foundations when it comes to helping out new players and he's one of the hardest workers I know. Good luck.

Huge +1, Elrith was a fantastic addition to the GM team during his first go around, I don't see why it would be any different this time.

What map did you join during?: I joined during early-Axios.
Do you have access to a Microphone? Yeah.
Average Daily Play Time? Between four and five hours a day, sometimes an upwards of six depending on my schedule. Usually when I get home (roughly 4:00pm), I spend a couple hours online, hop off for about half an hour, and return until about 10:00pm.
Have you held any LotC staff position(s) before? If so, for how long?: Nope, I’ve never been apart of any staff team on LotC for any length of time.
Do you have prior history in any forms of moderation?
Two and a half-ish years ago, I staffed an RP server as a moderator and remained staff for roughly a year. After the server transitioned to another map, the owner decided to shut it down and instead bring it back a few months later. I was staff on the second rendition of that RP server as a moderation manager. Since then, I haven’t done too much in terms of staffing.
Why do you want to join the GM Team?:
What with the various ideas being thrown around for raid and war rulesets, I’m hoping to toss in my two cents and, with any amount of luck, help out with tweaking the suggested changes to better suit the server as it stands now. Much of what has been suggested has potential, and I’d like to see it brought to fruition.
Additionally, I aim to help out with doing the usual moderation tasks; spectating raids, checking locks, eviction signs, and so on. I’ve got plenty of time to spend, so I’d best spend it being productive.
Have you applied for this position before and been denied? If so, link the application:
I haven’t.
Anything else you want to tell us?:
Nah.

Name:
Asgeir
Clan:
Unoathed.
Experience:
I've spent a majority of my time wandering the forests of Haense, Adria, and northern Santegia. My time outside of cities has left me quite adept at managing myself and others in terms of finding clean sources of water, hunting and tracking, and guarding against the average brigand. My only formal experience in a guardforce was ages ago in the southern lands of Haense.
Equipment ((provide a detailed account of your character's slapped-together equipment)):
Asgeir dons a large maille hauberk covered with a thick coat of brown brigandine. At his neck is a large green scarf. Both of his shoulders are reinforced with layered leather spaulders atop light maille sleeves, which both seem to continue down to a pair of black, studded leather gauntlets. Every digit is coated with pieces of layered steel plate, each varying in size, allowing for plenty of comfort and only marginally less maneuverability. He bears a few small compartments at his waist, though all of them can be found firmly mounted to a leather belt. Each leg is clad in thick leather as well, allowing for a significant amount of wear and tear.
Most of the time, Asgeir bears a simple longsword at his left hip and a bone dagger on the opposite. There is no coinpurse to be seen at his waist.
Are ye o' faith?:
I've never been one for relying too much on the divine for assistance, if at all.

Gaius Mournstone continued to pass out drinks within the First Hearth tavern of Nordengrad, offering free drinks to the citizens upon the announcement of a Patriarch. "It's about time, lads," he spoke plainly. "Mournstone children can be properly educated about the faith. All-Father be praised."
2 -
Definitely a +1 from me; Star works hard at just about everything he does, is extremely patient and polite, and does his best to help out wherever possible. He'd be a great addition to the team.

Gaius Mournstone crossed his arms, his gaze lingering on the few remaining casks of mead within Nordengrad's 'First Hearth' tavern. After a couple short moments, he stifled a chuckle and decided this simply wouldn't be enough -- especially since drinks would be free. "Ar ndóigh, ba chóir dom vodca agus rum a ordú freisin," the Výrannian swiftly noted, striding off in search of a quill.

Just about every person in this thread has mentioned what I'd like to say and more, so I don't really have much to add.
Narthok can be hot-headed at times, absolutely, but he's also extremely hardworking. His dedication to things like the Red Faith of Norland and just about every official forum post he's ever made are perfect examples of how experienced and passionate he is about writing, organizing, and managing his ideas. With a little redirect, I feel he'd be perfect for the GM team.
Giant +1
I'd better see some VA Applications though

Renault de Roth salutes his fallen captain, mourning the loss of a great friend and leader. For the following days, he engages in habitual drinking, knowing in full that there was no way to prevent this catastrophe.

Definitely a major +1 from me. I'd love to see some of Malg's newer ideas around the map. He's both inventive and hardworking, and sure to make plenty of events or eventlines that draw out the more interesting roleplay.

Well-mannered, perfectly capable, and extremely involved with new players whenever possible. Definitely a +1
Chris would be a great addition to the application team.

Also +1, you make a fantastic ET and you’re a bit blunt at times, but I’m confident you have the best in mind for the server’s future.
Also Strigae being shelved when?
