    Creator's MC Name:

    Parkins

    Creator's RP Name:

    Gravelord Adremeich

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

A Morghuul is essentially an animate corpse. They have no soul, and are created by Necromancers to be minions and, in some cases, servants, which carry out the commands of their creator indefinitely. Because of their state of undeath, they constantly seek to devour the lifeforce of living beings in order to sate their permanent hunger.

Socially, the Morghuul are not particularly skilled. They speak with raspy, coughing tones and they can't really hold one train of thought for too long, nor keep up conversations that require a certain type of charm or persuasion. They prefer to keep to themselves when able, but will venture out into groups if they can keep up a guise fair enough to be 'passable' within said groups. As for eating, they'll feast on pretty much anyone they can touch.

There’s a number of things the Morghuul have to avoid. Holy magic, for example, is devastating. Gold weaponry is rather effective against them as well, as are Ascendant/Clerical magics. As for physical issues, a Morghuul cannot heave around heavy weapons or armor such as warhammers or greatswords and full-plate. Notably, a Morghuul cannot cast any sort of magic because they do not have a soul.

One benefit a Morghuul may find are the ability to never tire. Where others may eventually run themselves into exhaustion, the Morghuul simply isn’t affected by stamina. They’re also typically faster than most, due to this. Similarly, they do not succumb to normal wounds quite as easily and are generally able to ignore a majority of minor injuries. However, gold is capable of afflicting major damage if it’s used as a weapon. Also of note is that they /will/ be killed if their head is severed or their body is torn asunder.

    Transformed form:

    Golem

    Creator's MC Name:

    Lhindir_

    Creator's RP Name:

    Masked Figure

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Golems are, essentially, a creature formed from stone by a Golemancer. They’re only around to serve, similar to slaves, and cannot guide themselves to do anything but serve their “Impera”. A Golem is powered by one of two things; Thanium, or a Soul-Bound core. While most Golems are formed from stone, they can be wrought from wood as well. Depending on the type of cores inside of the Golem, they can have numerous different sizes and, for the most part, are much taller than other beings. Therefore, with some cores, they may be nine or ten feet. With others, an upwards of twelve. Notably, cores can be modified to serve different needs for the Golemancer himself. Also of note is that Golems cannot be created from pure obsidian or metal bodies as both are simply too heavy or will not animate properly.

For a Golem, the only way to truly sense anything is through runes. A Golem’s body must be covered in visible runes of all sorts which ease the flow for the Core and allow for sensory input. When these runes are damaged, the Golem will not work fluidly. For example, motor functions such as walking will not work well if they are damaged. Likewise with damaged optical runes, the Golem will not be able to see. On the topic of damaged golems, there is a state known as “The Red State,” in which a Golem core is badly damaged but still capable of processing tasks. In this “Red State,” a Golem will no longer obey its creator and will instead go on an endless destructive rampage via killing and destroying anything it can reach. Until the Golem is thoroughly destroyed, it will continue in this state indefinitely.

A depiction of the All-father’s magnificence

On this month, Grand Harvest 1618, Jeska Lamil betrayed her brothers and sisters of the Ashguard. On this very day, she declared her place as a deserter and thief against Norland and her people.

Because of such actions, she is now a criminal. One who will be hunted by the Ashguard to oblivion. One that will see her thievery undone before her inevitable execution on Norlandic soil.

As devout followers of the All-Father, as men of courage and honor, as the defenders and justicars of our homeland, we demand this traitor be sent forth from the walls of Linandria to face proper justice for her actions.

Should this request not be met post-haste, the woodland peoples of Linandria will face the dire consequence of their actions.  A transgression against the All-Father and his flock is not to be taken lightly.

Release the fugitive you are harboring immediately.

    Signed,

    Septimus Aldin, Battle-Brother

Adalwulf Horen, Lord Commander of the Ashguard

    None.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?:

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial  of your application!

    What is roleplaying?:
Roleplaying is the act of assuming a role with a history, mindset, and traits that are not your own, to which you would enact said role to the best of your ability.

    What is metagaming?:
The usage of knowledge that is obtained using OOC means in roleplay, be it through a Skype message, a message in-game, or just someone telling you directly, even though you aren't associated with the pertaining roleplay.

    What is power-emoting (powergaming)?:
Intentionally giving another player little chance to defend themselves in an RP situation, this could involve either combat or normal conversation. An example is, "Gunnar Forthrun drew back his bow and fired, hitting Kayla Ironheart in the shoulder, rending her left arm useless."

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)

(Note, The White Company is a newer group, formed when the Marbrands arrived in Metterden. As such, to start out with, Jurgen only wished to be a soldier in the militia of Metterden, though when he was about eighteen this changed to The White Company.)

Jurgen Ardelis was born in the year 1558 at the small town of Metterden, an area in the rugged north, to Jameson and Katla Ardelis. Throughout his childhood, he was raised with little issue, putting his best efforts forth when he could; His father, a soldier for the militia of Metterden, pushed Jurgen to perform at the best of his ability and to be an honest and hardworking member of Metterden, regardless of his future occupation. Jurgen's mother was an animal breeder, and so taught him from a young age about the value of animals to the city, and how they provide the town with food and leather for families and soldiers alike. It was common that Jurgen would venture outside to see his father in the guards' barracks, he was either training or working with another soldier named Avis Hedin to secure the wooden walls of Metterden. While he watched his father, Jurgen developed an interest in the militia, wishing to follow his father's path as a soldier; though he also had interest in animals, wishing to also be either an animal breeder or leather-worker in Metterden. After deep consideration over the next year, he realized there was a also a third choice. Practicing to become a leather-worker while training himself with both sword and shield until he could qualify as a soldier of the militia. He would have something to fall back on if he never quite did follow his father's footsteps, and it wouldn't hinder him in any way specifically.

At age sixteen, Jurgen began working for the town's current leather-worker, Avis Hedin (The same soldier his father worked with), who showed him how to clean the leather so that it was usable on the tanning rack. He was also taught the basics of crafting some items with leather, such as banners and item frames. After a year, Jurgen explained to Avis that he actually wanted to be a soldier, and that leather-working would be a side job, just as it was for him. Avis took that into consideration and after a few days he began training Jurgen in the art of combat, using wooden sparring swords as they first began, but moving to dull iron short-swords after several months. It was in this time that Jurgen truly felt happy, he was training to do exactly as his father did, perhaps even better, and all the while he was working with leather just as his mother said when she spoke of her occupation. Two years afterwards, Jurgen, eighteen now, was still a beginning leather-worker, but at least moderately proficient with a sword, so Avis began teaching him the more advanced parts of combat, showing how he could use his surroundings for an advantage.

A month would pass from them, and while Jurgen and Avis were training, a courier arrived. He gave a letter to Avis, and after a minute of reading over it's contents, Avis looked up to Jurgen and began to explain that he had to leave for his hometown, Westport, because his sister was dangerously ill and would most likely not survive to the end of the month. Given the time this happened, Jurgen was left with little guidance; his father needed required to travel far south to attend a wedding between his sister, Margaret, and a rich merchant named Galev Indosil, for a month. Jurgen's mother was still in Metterden at the time, and he found that she was able to continue his teaching in the leather-works, which she showed him the proper procedure for obtaining leather and such from animal breeders.

When Jurgen's father returned, Avis sent word that he would not be returning, as he found that his sister had a son, Aren Langevold, that had yet to be raised fully. He was eleven at the time, and Avis explained that he would remain as the acting parent, but that Jurgen had the necessary knowledge to run the leather-works, and that he'd only get better with time and practice. Avis also mentioned that, since he'd not be returning, Jurgen should make an attempt to join the militia (now known as The White Company) for the first time, as he had the proper training with a sword. For three months, Jurgen considered when he would attempt, all while running the leather-works with a small amount of assistance from his mother, since he had not yet found a long-term supplier for the leather he needed.

It was a month before he reached age nineteen that he made his attempt to join The White Company of Metterden, and during the process he was asked questions, tested by a member of the Company, and given tasks to complete before he would be considered. He passed the first and last things without much issue, but when he was tested by the Company Trainer, he quickly realized that his training from Avis had more than prepared him for the test, and he bested the Trainer soon after they began. Now a recruit for The White Company, Jurgen continues to run his leather-works smoothly, and practices with the other Company recruits often. Jurgen had followed his father's footsteps, becoming both a soldier, and a leather-worker, and without a doubt has become more than he could have wished for when he first saw his father and Avis training in the barracks.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)
He's often quiet, though hardworking and intelligent. He prefers those that put their equal share of work into the things they do and, as a result, dislikes the lazy and those that lie or are dishonorable.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)
He continuously works to be an honorable and hardworking swordsman and leather-worker, as he wishes to serve The White Company to the best of his ability.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)
Jurgen is efficient with a sword and practices very often with the other recruits of The White Company.

He is exceptional at traversing the wilderness, having grown up in the semi-rugged town of Metterden.

Jurgen is also decent with leather at a tanning rack, and is practicing his skill so that he may become exceptional as a leather-worker.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)
He is poorly skilled with a bow, because he doesn't have great vision. He can see, but things more than twenty-five yards away are blurry.

Jurgen is slightly quiet, and often doesn't talk as much as others would prefer during conversations.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)
Jurgen is a tall and lithe man, reaching about 6'1", and is well-muscled. He has steely, emerald-green eyes, and thin black hair. He has three scars along his left forearm, though they're rather faded. He weighs approximately 75 kilograms, and is fit for working during long periods of time due to his training from Avis and the Company.

Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.)
