How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?:
I looked at http://minecraft-server-list.com/sort/Popular/page/4/ while I was looking there, I found this and I thought to myself, "I'll give it a shot." So I joined, then I saw that you meant business by role-play, and now I'm hooked on it.

What is roleplaying?: To take on the "role" of something you are not, in order to see the perspective and lifestyle of that something.
What is metagaming?: To use unreasonable tactics, whether it is the internet, taking advantage of minecraft chat to "hear" people in unreasonable places, or other things that would not correspond with the physics of reality.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: To "do" something in game that would not correspond with reality or that disables someone to "respond/defend" themselves.

In the early portion of the year of 1501, a high elven boy was born to a pure High Elven blood line, the boy grew up close to his family, especially his brother Walith Ward, his brother who is exceedingly good with a sword would have practice battles with Benjamin. Now, the family lived close to a river outside of Fi'Ceru. There, Benjamin played in the forest and around the river seeing much wild life. One day, his grandfather came to their residence and had a gift for both of the boys. For Walith, a sword made of steel, with a hilt made of gold. At the end of the hilt there is a sphere, and engraved around the sphere are the words, "Love your brother and you will be unstoppable." For Benjamin, a bow made of a pure white birch wood, with no cracks or blemishes. And in a golden bordered box in the middle of the bow, a phrase that said, "Love your brother and you will be unstoppable." The boys loved the gifts and play fought all day. Pretending as though they were fighting the demons that drove the ancient 4 brothers through the portal. Later that day, a group of bandits came to the river and killed the boys grandfather, Benjamin and his brother immediately took their weapons and with an unmatchable rage destroyed the whole bandit gang. As their grandfather's life was draining away, his final words were, "Love your brother and you will be unstoppable."
Years passed, Benjamin and Walith stayed around the river with their parents until one day they decided to take a journey to the Cloud Temple in search of a new life. On the way there, they were faced with many a challenge and on their final challenge they failed to heed their grandfathers words. They split off from each other and Benjamin hasn't seen Walith since they split. Now Benjamin has arrived at the Cloud Temple, and is ready to begin his journey. He does not fully understand what is ahead of him, but he knows that with a bow in his hand, he will be feared by those who challenge him. Now he will set forth, in search of his brother, and to become a legend among men, elves, dwarves, and orcs.

Wise, slow to anger, loves those who care about him, has a craving for books and literature, loves tall tales, and fables. Has a passion for the long bow, a passion that is constantly growing and not hindered by anything.

Benjamin Ward aspires to be a legend. He wishes that when someone says his name the others around him would reply with he is only a myth. He wants to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)
Benjamin Ward is swift, strong, and extraordinarily good with a long bow. He works on his technique every day and every second of spare time he has.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)
Benjamin Ward is not good with a sword, disabling him from excelling at close quarter combat.
