Sighard Af Markev, The blind, The Master Keeper of The Union of the Academic, The Elder and Leader of the Kenu, crafter of Limbs and forger of magical artefacts sits in his home staring at his blade shimmering with white steel, Slayer steel after he read the letter. ”Well well, so far the corruption of Haense has fallen these... invading scum, their leader swiving with death and misfortune, but very well... I shall try and aid that which I can muster.” He’d let out before going to stand from his chair he was placed on laying an array of gems on the table as he took some food from his storage and begun his journey to the black gem of Haense. From what I have heard and seen this man is very toxic, and honestly would not make a good fit for the GM Team, his reason for wanting to join is not the best also and does not really explain why he wants to join more that he just wants to for the lolz. Not surprised he has made this though I’ll be honest, everyone and their mother is making one now, but no, this is a hard  from me, I honestly don't see him being a good fit for the Global Moderation Team.

Good morning or afternoon people, I can say, from what I have seen, Leap has not been a bad person, preferring to keep the tyrannical bias far away which is good, I think in this petty Game Moderation Team environment he could aid people better, as said I have never seen him being insanely biased if at all, which makes me almost automatically give him my seal of approval, the fact that Leap has had experience and wants to help might be good for the entire life of this server, players have been leaving left and right falling like flies flying through a blizzard, though that is beside the point, I tend to be a good judge of people and Leap seems like a good man, sure he has some issues with a few people I have seen, but I don’t think that will get in the line of duty. It should not I’d hope my boy.

I have to give Leap a solid seal of approval, with the clear and utmost respect for the others here, I think he honestly should be given another chance on the team, he has not been a bad person and shows respect for other people so I think he could serve the team well. Or maybe I have just not seen his bad side enough to judge who knows.  from me to say the least, the Game Moderation Team needs some good people nowadays.

Sorry to post here about this topic again, but I can’t get it off my mind- why would you even switch away from Soulflames, whilst this looks good on its own it does not seem every Ascended, like this would do for a normal magic for sure, but I simply cannot see this for the Ascended of Aeriel, call me cynical but this seems oddly like something you would see being used by pure Moonlight Magi, and not by a Holy Order that is sworn to rid the Realm of Darkness and Corruption, it seems more like something out of a fanfiction or creative piece than a LoTC, also correct me if I am wrong, but where is all the anti-corruption for saving souls? Aeriel might be the Aengul who has been ruling the Moon, but she is still the Lady of Souls, not of the mon, the moon is simply a body, a physical form on the Realm, doubling down on this seems extremely odd and does not. yet again, feel Ascended.

Now you could argue that this piece of Lore would be good, but that is not exactly the point, while it is good, it would make more sense for it to be its own separate magic, not as Ascended as a thing. The Ascended promise has dwindled over the years and needs to be strapped down on, by making this change it looks almost like you want to create your own fancy form of Magic, but I agree with Farryn’s post above about inactivity and idling, I have been around as one of the only active Ascended for a time, it was sad to be the only one really around to do things- even then I usually just casually roleplayed with no clear sign of helping insight, I can list you exactly who was active too, Farryn, Eternal, Gilded, Me, and that is more or less it, the rest get on once and a while but nothing more, honestly disappointing, ever since I was DC’ed the only two I have seen actively is Gilded and Farryn, and sometimes if lucky Eternal. Which is insanely sad, the rest have pretty much quit the server or is unable to play because of real life, now I also see Minstral on which means they are kicking it into gear, but again, this rewrite just looks like a different version of Muun Magic.

Now to the community bit, or more specifically the leadership, even more specifically how DC’ing works which is something revoltingly disgusting, lying straight up about OOC Disconnection and then taking action into roleplay when the smallest Tenant is bent, no questioning, just straight up Disconnection, though I ain’t mad, just slightly disappointing about the lies told to the people, now that is said and done with, the other thing I don’t like about the leader has a general bad nature and immaturity I had seen from the person time and time yet again, and just flat out is toxic towards me, I honestly hope his break will be long. Take that as you will.

But I like the idea of them sealing away threats, but they are just not going to look, or feel good being totally different. Don’t change a Magic completely because you can no questions asked- just make a new Magic from the bottom, this does not even need to be exactly Aeriel based let’s be honest, it could literally be that you converted Moonbeams into Magical energy, and not have to place an Aengul sticker on there, now that being said let’s go to Altered Souls and how much Aenguldaemons care.

Anything with an Altered Soul no matter by what should get affected by any and all Ascended effects, without penalty or slap on the wrist, as anything with an Altered Soul, is going against Aeriel’s own power grabbing that Aenguls and Daemons do, And I am sure if you helped such a being, be it a Soul Tree or an Undead you would get a swift Disconnection, as yet again, they are impure and against Aeriel’s will- people don’t seem to really understand that Ascended should shun all Soul changes at all, not just Dark, and of course Immortality, which is obviously the worst of them all, well except for Soul Corruptions of the Iblessian. Which will stright up send you to the Bad Place no questions asked at all.

Now I like the Idea of the Souls being an adult and such blah blah, but what if it was a traitor or something else? Something that Aeriel would not enjoy one of her Ascended helped, sometimes I once again think should become a punishment, because it would be unjust to help the wicked and wrong, be it Descendant or not.

Now going back a bit in all of this and stuff, why keep it as a Holy Magic if you are not going to be holy heroic champions of your god? Like for stuff like this, I think we need an Aenguldaemonic category outside of Holy because this has gone so far from a Holy Magic as you could, having it effect everyone would not make sense from Aeriel’s standpoint unless she wanted more Souls for the Ebrietæs, the Soul Stream, something I doubt she would do soon at least. Like how the Ascended should be neutral in judgements unless it goes against Aeriel’s likes or her will. 

 Now back to the Altered Soul thing, an Ascended should not want to help them, but should not try and attack them, just staying clear of them, unless they are corrupted by anything, then they should be killed, unless they could be released from their Darkness by peaceful means.

Also, I enjoy that the Ascended are going for a more neutral approach like they should have been from the start, they serve a cruel Aengul, not some sort of jolly holy god, but whatever, I’ll leave some lore about Aeriel’s Code and such here.

Take that with what you will, I have tried to make names out of this as much as I could, and I am sorry if you got mentioned and did not want to be. This is just my opinion at best, take it or leave it.

Why. Just why. I know I can’t have a bias, physically incapable of it nowadays but, why are we selling land for Minae? And secondly, why even have this stupid system, to begin with, I know, it sucks, but I don’t like how we are “selling lands off because rich people rule.” It is not a healthy system, and it won’t have a great chance of flying well in the future. Charters are not bad, but SELLING LAND is not alright, Seventh, I love you, buddy... it is not too late to change the system for a second round, this system is unfair and unkind to those that honestly have not been able to vote or something else, I know it is a way to curve down on activity. But there is literally a counter ticking telling about the activity. Let nations settle themselves instead of taking useless Minae that won’t even be carried over and using them.

Here is a better system in my opinion; A nation gets to pick a single tile on the map nothing more, then minor and major groups get to do the same, but remain hidden, because, I FORGOT TO SAY, Minor none-nations will not get anything in this system, meaning groups that thrive off of hiding outside of empires and kingdoms get majorly thrown under the table by this, so please fix that, now back to my proposal. You hand nations max one tile, minors and major one nation one tile, and then you keep free-building for the future, keep it locked from the start of course, but release it later once real rules and regulations are formatted and made. 

All of this will come for free, no costs involved, you would just need to be active on a daily basis. Sounds simple right? 

I have faith in you and your team Seventh, but you must remember that listening to the people and not just making stupid decisions an rules, going back on failed systems, and just generally using common sense is in order. Just in general you know. :3 

I thought free build had a chance, but people can't handle it when you don't regulate it properly, I know people are focusing on other things, but it is a real kicker that keeping it unregulated and around will fly with everyone, the system needs drastic changes, in my opinion, maybe having it be that you need to set up in roleplay and planned out, then sending the screenshots to a WD or GM would do, but the regard stands. If you are not going to change the broken system, don’t keep it, simple as that. Though all of you lovely people likely knew that already, do me proud, you have options, very obvious options too.

This is not meant to really spark a debate or argument, this is just my opinions and things I think would be better.

Sighard grinned in his office as he heard the news reached his ears, the faint sound of crackling lighting outside his humble office and living space, his gloved hands tracing the table as he sent the messenger away again blessing him in Godfray’s name, before speaking to what seems to be himself “Seems that the Demonificationists are coming to an end with their wretched stench.” He let out before standing form the chair he sat in “He is a fool to think he would not get a punishment for letting the dark scurry out into the light, he is blinded, only we could defeat him before these tidings of motion from the Mortals of the Canonist Church, to think Wulf let him survive and scurry... to think I needed to pick up the mantle with the rest he has caused dangers and wrongs too, soon the endgame is here, how many moves left though.” he let out with a soft sigh looking out to the balcony as he moved to look down on the snows falling, his hands tightly gripping the railing of wood as he snarled, his purple eyes scanning the land he stood in front of, his mind fueled by a endless rage and fire burning white for a long time, his pale form let go of the railing and moved back and down the steps to exit, once he left he headed towards the south, deep into the south in the raveging cold blizzard and snows endlessly falling, as his body carrys more pain than any mortal should have seen, or felt, his mind shattered and slipping away, how long until his endgame was here too, only the Deities would know.

Sighard Af Markev, wandered off from Markev after a day of searching and finding nothing – beckoned by an mysterious call ringing though his mind “find me down south..” The voice commanded as he walked south on the snowed ground and iced lakes and passes, stumbling near Arberrang as he did, catching a glint of the city hold, and get stopped by Saoirse and Tepah, getting lured inside a Clan hall by one of many, locked in an argument he knew he could not win – which he tried to leave for the better as he was the root of the arguing, before continuing, moving downwards, his cloaked covered body shivering slightly as he called out “where... where do I head?” he’d inquire and the voice answered “down...far down south.” before laughing as Sighard walked a stong blizzard forming on the horizon as he wandered, an erie aura of madness filling the air whereever he walked a twisted light on the horizon, stumbling forth towards it.. “is this it?” He man let out before the voice answered “indeed it is. Now claim your destiny.” he voice broke out as he walked towards the light glinting in the distance of the blizzard – a group of figures moved along the same path Sighard was wondering, yet could not be revealed though the heavy snowfall hitting the area, Sighard trailed the group as he moved his breath freezing as he moved forwards though the blizzard. Ashe reached the light it would show he never even left Arberrang’s outer walls simply blinking in suprise and murrering out “I know now where I must head.”

*Rubs hands together* 

Sighard stood by his studies in Markev his nails digging into the table as his black dagger leaked into the table it was stuck in, maddening whispers summoning him, beckoning him somehow and somewhere as he growled like a fearless beast “Garroth, this is it- the time has come to claim me for good- else I shall get ride of you, I am your valiant champion and speaking voice, but I cannot continue without guidance.” He lets out as his green eyes gazed the table filled with note and letters, his hands slamming against the table as he moved to pick the pages up and binding them together in a design of an book without an back- as he lacked on for now. “The time has come.” He states as he placed the new book into his bag and looked to the dagger picking it from the table and sheathing it. “Call me where you wish Garroth. Now it begins.” He lets out moving to the balcony spotting Julia move in yet saying no words, only watching on. One could only imagine what things reavers his mind. The drifting of the wind swirling around him as Garroth spoke in his head awaiting the command of him, as Julia fully moved past he’d go to the steps downwards and head down them, heading to open the doors, trying to find his Mother once more. Visions plaguing his mind and body as he left, the ever present touch of Garroth there. A creeping horror unending. 

Sighard ran into the streets the streets filled not with people but twisted creatures and the city was not what it once was- twisted and curved into something else, mad laughs and hollowings on the wind as he wandered the streets heading towards his family’s estate in the city, the way there seeming to last an eternity as he walked, on his newly healed feet- from after the Arberrang Demon attack he attended, a shivering running down his body though the trip and walk, the power of Garroth’s vice only growing as the world twisted around itself.

I got to say number two for the most part- many freebuilds tend to be ugly and pretty much inactive places dotting the map, I think it would be good with charters and relegations like in the past, though number three sounds good- IF and I mean IF there is strict supervisioning if the area to make sure it is up to par of the community and Lore- Free Builds are good for factions without Nation Status like an Cult or Coven- though I fear giving every nook an Free Build will likely give us the same problem as Atlas, too many Inactive and Ugly Builds, not only because they are build inside Survival Mode, but also because it is so spread out and makes it hard to do things rightly... Free Build could have done right with altered Rules to it, but it ain’t gonna cut it else, Survival Limits the possibility of good and fansy Builds in general because of the limits of Resources and movement to reach the top of builds.

Now I have to say I am all for the beautiful Map though! ? let’s keep it beuatiful shall we? But Apar from that I am hped to see what system will be chosen! Even if it is Free Build things could be done to make it more strict. ?

The Devil Snake must be found, but first a little fun never hurt nei.”
