  1. Sighard reads over the lines of the letter with a raised brow "Someone lives?" he says with a glint in his shadowed eyes as he begins to hum a little tune before continuing to read it his eyes shifting arcoss the page "The mad curse runs though are blood alas... let us hope we can break it together.. if you still live, what am I saying you burned on a pyre" he states looking over it once more on every page "wait could it be... no, that would be madness itself!" he cackles as his eyes look at the name "af Markev.... they have to be around still? Perhaps they have seen the light, or sriveled into more darkness then before.?" he says a feeling of dread filling his tranquil mood, as he looks towards the  nights sky, stars dotting the ethernal plain above "perhaps there is a chance to start over? Perhaps some still live, bareing the curse." he says with a faint mad grin as he continues to flip though the pages seeing some missing and watered down "How many? How old is this thing even, and who made it." he swiftly says before moving towards Markev to see this for himself, think, learn, ponder!

More rules to halt rp is not what we need on this server. If you have festivals or balls you get guards to operate the gate, if you don't bother ensuring there is good defences don't ***** when you get raided. Just because you're having a peaceful festival, doesn't mean everybody else who comes has to be peaceful. For example if people are at a peaceful festival they are more likely not to be armed to defend themselves, if they are your enemies it would make perfect sense. For example why would crusaders not raid the Dominion because they are 'having a peaceful festival', they would not. They would raid regardless, even more so perhaps. You shouldn't stop people rping and raiding because you want to have a 'peaceful' festival, if you want a peaceful festival or good event in your city ensure you have the guards to defend it.

Very true, though I am mainly meaning PvP Goons who just raid for the lolz, like if people raid they need a good roleplay reason for it I agree, and can't agree more really, it is fun to see a festival raid. If done correctly, people who just raid for PvP reasons and drops a poor excuse for it like "I wanna kill this dude lolol", like come on man, you don't need to raid for that, just walk up with a consealed dagger and then stab them in the neck, you don't need to bring your goonies to join you, in a murdering ? but back to the point I agree, but I think a rule to make sure it is a good raid before it happens will have the chance to help Dynamic Roleplay somewhat. ❤️ sorry if you took some offence man.

Except it's never during diplomatic meetings or military meetings, it's done during weddings and ceremonies, balls and festivals...

Perhaps a rule can be added to stop this, if they don't have a good enough reason to disrupt the fesvivities?

I fail to understand why you are shocked people raid during meetings and events. People raid meetings to disrupt them, it may affect their nation, you may be their enemy. Would it not only make sense to disrupt diplomacy meetings between your enemies or military meetings?

That is fair, but what about a Festival or a Ball? Something to be a time of peace?

Hey that's from the witchery mod.

Anyway, I'm sure players would enjoy themselves more if these targeted raids genuinely promoted roleplay. I'm not saying that all raids should only hold roleplay combat, or be slanted to the defender's advantage. What I'm saying is that raiding groups should learn to offer options to settlements: have them break vassal or face consequences, tribute, take in slaves instead of slaughtering everyone, ransom, etc etc. It's not difficult at all.

I thought it was Thurmcraft or how ever you spell it, I mean there is even Taint to the left man.

  6. I think there also should be a thing on the line seperating a Raid and something like a rescue operation, making it so people can't claim it is a raid if the main target is not the city itself, or to loot or harm the people in the nation, I almost got called for raiding when I did this a day or so ago, and said I could not do it because the city had a raid cooldown.

Then a GM stepped in and said it was not counted as a raid and PvP was after called per Server Rules, so I think a fine line needs to be made, from a raid, and a roleplay operation, though that might just be my opinion in the raid matters.

I also see a ton of PvP Raids, it is rare I see some good Roleplay Raids, shoutout to Krugmar for good Raiding btw, mainly it is just click hungering people wanting to PvP for lolz, perhaps something could be done about this? ?

  7. Sighard hears word of this "A pitty.... he could have been a great ally." he says with a faint sigh on his lips as he'd clench his fists for a moment cursing under his breath and turning to stroll off "I wonder who will claim his Soul?" he says with a shrug as he began to walk along the road towards Markev with a disapointed look "I kind of enjoyed him too... he gave me free things.." he'd state to himself as he walks off.

  8. MC Name: Jondead

Character's Name: Magnus Hallowfall Frostbeard Deed

    Character's Age: 98~

Character's Original Race (N/A if not applicable):

             Human

    Transformed form:

             Haunt (Ghost)

    Creator's MC Name:

             Jondead

    Creator's RP Name:

             Magnus Hallowfall Frostbeard Deed

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

"A shadow on the wall, is more then a shadow sometimes."

A ghost is a shard, or a image of a past away person who is still in a limbo, their Soul is cast to The Soul Stream, yet as a "shadow" of themselves a figment of their minds thinking to still be living on The Mortal Realm.

As a Ghost grows in powers they begin slowly grasping their situation their deaths, as a Haunt (T1) you know not of your own death simply living as you once did until you gain enough proof of your own demise to advance in your understanding, Haunts look just like they did on their death, be it cut in half or a mangled mess, Haunts retain the illusion of their life and keep going as they tended to do.

T2 ghosts are the second variation of Haunts called: A Revenant, they now have pupils and irises, when before they just had blank eyes, they have now found out they are dead, and have become stronger then before as they are starting to grasp that they are in limbo, they now begin development of their ghostly powers, but they must forget the mortal laws of mass and physical space to act on them. T1 and T2 Haunts  will still walk on the ground like ordinary people because it is still normal to them, a new Haunt will not be able to use ghost powers, and would react to things as if they were physical, even if untouchible.

An important thing to note is: They must be awakened by someone else and they will only be awakened when presented with absolutely undeniable evidence of their death, this can be a chat about their murder or death, or the sight of their own resting spot, or even that they cannot touch things or people --When they learn of their death they will become very upset, unless talked down to a calmer level.

T3 ghost are the reation of getting told, they can (if upset) become a Poltergeist, or if accepting of their death a Revenant, Poltergeist tend to be red grooling to look at, whilst a Revenant tends t look calm and graceful, their magic changes at this point to reflect their form, yet the transformation takes years to complete and finalize. For a Haunt to become a Poltergeist, it takes many years of stewing in anger, hate, denial, or other strongly negative emotions, whilst for Haunt to become a Revenant though acceptance of their death and instead of becoming evil ouls trying to scare and hurt, they become peaceful and kind-ish, whilst they are Undead-like they retain their personality -- Ghosts of any evolution, however, are unable to phase through walls, they are limited by some laws of the world still, including the inability to fly, open any lock, or drain the life of another entity and so on.

Ghost tend to stay to themselves mostly, unless they are Haunting a person or place, something that is very personal for them, as is their nature - Ghost also tend to be neutral towards people tending not to kill them, but more to give them a scare, it is rare that a Poltergeist as killed a person out of respite or pure anger, or a Haunting going wrong for a Revenant, unless they are provoked.

Ghosts have this "Depression" aura, which makes people feel bad, often making them think of surcide or deprssion and so on, if people stay around the ghost in question for too long, or things like a spine chilling cold, and sometimes a high Tier ghost can even affect people with bad luck.

Ghosts can also be expeled if Haunting by all manor of Holy and anti-magic or anti-ghost/soul magic, or even something as simple as Gold, which forces them to de-manifest for about 30 minuts and if exusiced from a place make them un-able to Haunt the place for a matter of weeks.

Ghosts also passively feed off of the areas around them for energy in order to sustain themselves and local plant life, making them wither and die, th air colder around them or making food slowly rot, his assists them in regeneration so that, if demanifested or slain, they may return to Haunt The Realm.

Ghosts also cannot learn or cast magic outside of their inherent racial abilities.

is suicide to avoid rp still a mandatory pk because ive had prisoners neck themselves before they check themselves and get restored to good health by admins.

PK'ing with surcide is always valid yes. Surcide no matter what is a PK.

??? why would we allow RP in a hunting ground area? it seems mostly like a spot for grinding minas. That's what it was added for, right? Minas?

Whilst this is half true it is still a RP situation, passive RP is a must seeing as Roleplay always happens, you are always in Roleplay even in PvP, which means that Roleplay in thse places just make sense. @Unwillingly

Uhhh from what I know, unless your persona can’t die because CA, suicide is always Pk no matter the circumstances

This is correct unless your Lore states other wise you have to PK duing Surcide, like fxs. The Monks cnt bring back people that willed their own death in Lore. @KiausT (The Alpha ****)

Honestly from his application i would give a big -1 because you are basically restating the lore of the server and it doesn't tell me how much YOU know about the races.

Hes quite helpful in the new player discord, and that is why he is a helper, which is good obviously.

Also it might just be my perspective, but when a new player makes a mistake i don't sugar coat it, you tell them straight while not being rude. Its important to be nice, but too nice and you lose authority.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    - The reason I citated from this Lore Piece is because it sums up nicely what the races are meant to be, and I thought it was alright to do it like that my bad! ?

    - True I am quite helpful but AT are also meant to help you see, yet I rarely see that, Helpers are understandin' in one field whilst the AT in all of the fields they so learned from, the must I see now a days are AT saying bluntly and plainly as a door "Hey you did this and did wrong you might want to fix that, if you have any questions ask around" whilst you could have easily done it right there and then and been a good kind person.

    - Very true, it is just some AT Members tend to be a tad too... blunt as a oak wood door hitting one's face, and this is coming from the person who has in the past been told to be more kind to people by AT, so nothing wrong in being kind as you said, just use kinder words is my goal ? a kind community is a good community!

Describe your knowledge on the descendant races

Long ago in Aegis a war was in the making shaping the future to come, Iblees the Archdaemon after trying to trick the four brothers: Krug Father of the Orcs and who stood against Iblees and did not take his fake kind, Urguan Father of the Dwarfs and fell to false kindness and greed, a long with, Malinor, and Horen, Krug the only one that stood against Iblees winning a fight against the Daemon, Krug was greatly wounded and was cursed.

When Iblees was cast back by Aeriel Lady of the Soulstream and Archaengul, and Krug, he cursed the Four Brothers and their Children, he cursed the Elves of Malinor with Infurtility so they may never grow strong in forces, to combat that Aeriel said "Malinor, may your forests be a sanctuary of peace and your children long lived." blessed the Elves with long lives so they can get the chance to grow and peace in their forest homes.

Iblees cursed Krug and his children with Blood Lust in his last breath so Aeriel said "Krug, may your people show valor and honor where none exist." making it so that their race and people would show valor when all others failed in doing so.

Iblees cursed Urguan and his children with greed, to combat this curse Aeriel said
"Unguan, may your descendants be hardy, and strong hearted and strong of mind." Making it so the Dwed would always be strong and hardy in mind, and body.

Iblees also cursed Horen with short lives so they might never truly rise to power, so Aeriel said "And horen, may your people one day explore the Seven Skies." Making it be, even if their live in The Mortal Realm is short they could pass quickly to The Seven Skies.

Describe your knowledge on other pieces of lore that you believe to be relevant

I am quite familior of the Ascended lore which could come in handy when looking though Applications and reviewing them.

Detail what drives you to become a member of the application team

I quite simply want to help people more and quite new people, whilst controlling the flow of people coming in making sure they are ready before letting them in, making sure they understand fully what "Roleplay, Metagaming, and Powergaming." Is, and helping them make it though the Application format and making sure the Application is not lore breaking, one of the things I hold quite dear.

Provide an alternate way to assisting new players apart from reviewing applications

Talking in the New Player Discord is a sure-fire way to help them, just being supportive and kind yet critical is a great way of doing something like that.

Survey the application process and provide any possible improvements which could be made

After reading some old Applications and the new one I think it is way too simple even back in my day it was harder to get in and that one was simple, and this new system we use is way too abusible when making applications, I'd say go back to the Forum Application format, this fill in the blanks also is limiting a bit, sure back ground and stuff is fine, but where is the religion and culture section?

Provide any additional information that you believe is needed

Nothing for now other then the bluntness of many Application Team Members I have seen over the year I have been in the New Player Discord, being Application Team should need a level of people skill that is acceptable, not being "Yo, I don't like you doing this could you stop now." Ask kindly like "Hello Jon, I don't really like you doing this could you please stop it <3" Basically be kind the decline of standards I have seen in the year is troubling.

    Tell a joke

A Gondorian and a Umbarian walk into a bar, the Umbarian says "Gondor is ours!"The Gondorian says "Umbar is ours!"

  12. [!] Posters would be placed on the Markev and Arbor walls, and letters would be sent around to those who will listen "Dear people I Tanyl of clan Fajyre seek to know where my children are, if any of you have seen them around please do tell! You will be rewarded in time I do a sure you! Their names are: Eletha and Vaeril Fajyre." ~ Tanyl Fajyre. The letters would be a little wet yet not enough to distroy the contents of the letter.
