  2. 13 minutes ago, Anisgar said:

"Losing more and more great men, Santegia is." States Richard Arden as he walks by the Third World puppet nation.

Sevastyan squints at the large apartment complexes and prosperous street shops. The priest would then scoff, "Bah third world nation, I wonder why Santegia doesn't have sixty story skyscrapers yet like in Jornberg".

THE GRANDAXE INDUSTRIAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE

    =================================================

The clangour of industry and production, as of current, is almost foreign to Clan Grandaxe. It is evident that we lack a strong workforce, yet it is imperative to the Dwarves of Borgin does have one. A motion has been passed which dictates that the Clan Grandaxe shall adopt a culture: A culture of craftsmanship, of engineering, of labour, of industry. To cement these ideas, a new initiative has been enacted.

The Clan Grandaxe shall initiate a century long initiative that will see economic and industrial growth within the clan. The initiative will require all Clandwarves to submit a ticket to the Clan’s administration. (The format will be listed below this document). In return, the clan shall oversee the applicant’s education in a valid craft. The clan will assign the applicant a mentor—a master of the sought discipline. After a year or two of rigorous training, the dwarf will then be able to submit their crafts to  the Clan Administration. Here, dwarven experts will examine the item for quality and the craftsmen will be awarded a sum of coins dependant on the appraisal.

Non-Grandaxe Dwarves may join this program if they choose but they will be charged a fee.

In hindsight, the administration has identified the following to be most essential to the development of our clan. Only these disciplines will be eligible for the initiative mentioned heretofore.

    LIST OF DISCIPLINES

    List is subject to change**

    Blacksmithing

    Engineering

    Alchemy

Unfortunately, many of our finest clan artisans are absent and unable to guide new clan brothers and beardlings through the process of the professions. As a result, Clan Grandaxe would welcome all Dwarven tradesmen to come assist in teaching young clans dwarves new crafts. Interested craftsmen will be assigned to a Grandaxe clandwarf who is also interested in the profession that the craftsmen can provide. In gratitude of one’s service, the clan will grant the specialist a fair share of minas which will be dependant on the quality of the lessons and the amount of lessons taught.

It is my hope that from this initiative grows a productive clan and that the expiration of this initiative, the participants will develop fruitful and industrious guilds. Let this be a new precedent for an prosperous future.

  4. Kathaikaz-Kharadunvuur Reconciliation

Aemich Grandaxe and Darrian Blackaxe cross borders for these historic negotiations, circa 1663

The “Tragedy of 1631” has greatly wounded our clan in more ways than one. Our clan splintered in two, as the war rolled over our holds-- leaving us broken, yes-- but not defeated. After years of both conflict and failed resolutions between these two Clans, the time has finally come where we have reached an accord: Clan Blackaxe shall hereby be dissolved in order that it may be reunified with Clan Grandaxe.

Henceforth, this document will serve as legal proof of this covenant, forged on this day, 6th Sun's Smile, 1663, between Clans Blackaxe and Grandaxe, and which outlines the following terms and conditions, agreed upon by both parties:

ARTICLE I: MERGER OF FLESH AND BLOOD

    I. All members of Clan Blackaxe shall hereby be integrated into the (reunified) Clan Grandaxe, and will pledge their loyalty to the Grandaxe Clan-- and the Grandaxe Clan Father, recognizing him as the sole authority on clanly affairs-- effective immediately.

II. The current leadership of Clan Blackaxe shall be integrated into the administration of the newly reunified Clan Grandaxe, with the following terms:

    A. Any individual who was actively serving as part of the Clan Blackaxe administration at the time of the drafting of this document, and who can provide physical evidence of this involvement, will be given a rank within the newly reunified Clan Grandaxe leadership equal to the role which they held Clan Blackaxe.

    ARTICLE II: MERGER OF PROPERTY

    I. All estates and properties belonging to Clan Blackaxe shall be immediately transferred to the newly reunified Clan Grandaxe, including (but not limited to):

    A. The Blackaxe Clan Hall, stationed in Kal’Tarak, shall be allocated to the (reunified) Clan Grandaxe.

    B. Previous holds belonging to Clan Blackaxe which remain in the collapsed continents of yore shall be given to the (reunified) Clan Grandaxe.

II. All clan relics belonging to Clan Blackaxe will be conferred to the (reunified) Clan Grandaxe.

III. Intellectual property belonging to Clan Blackaxe shall be appointed to the (reunified) Clan Grandaxe.

IV. Any other property found to be owned, possessed, or assigned to Clan Blackaxe, whether tangible or otherwise.

    ARTICLE III: EDICT OF DISSOLUTION

    I. The political entity of Clan Blackaxe shall formally and permanently disband and dissolve, effective immediately upon signing of this document:

II. Individuals who are belonging to, and residing within properties currently owned or administered by Clan Blackaxe will be rehomed, or otherwise accommodated in a property of comparable (or equivalent) quality by Clan Grandaxe, as per Article I.

Upon this occasion, sworn before all of dwedmar, the Brathmordikin, and the great Paragons of old, the reunification of Clan Blackaxe with Clan Grandaxe is hereby forever marked in our collective history as a most auspicious and momentous event; one which, from this day forward, shall define us, as we have overcome that which once divided us.

Nir ok dram eron ok Brathmordikin,

Darain Blackaxe, Clanfather of the Kharadunvuur, elder of the Kathaikaz

Aemich Grandaxe, Clanfather of the Kathaikaz

  5. Dwarven paperboys would frantically scramble around the city of Kal’Tarak, distributing leaflets to any and all dwarves who would take them. The handouts would state the following:

    image?w=130&h=155&rev=212&ac=1

As discussed in the last meeting, the Grandaxe clan shall host hunts on a yearly basis. This is to ensure that our bellies are being sated with fresh game and our people warmed and supplied by a steady source of pelts. Each year, Dwarven hunting parties shall take themselves from urban settlements and into the great wilderness. There we shall pursue wild stags, hares, fowls, and other chase. Grandaxe beardlings are encouraged to partake in these events so that they may complete the Trial of Courage in the case if we do find direwolves in the forests. These excursions will not be exclusive to Grandaxes; all other dwarves are also welcome to attend the hosted annual hunts.

Every year, the hunt will take place on The First Seed. Meet at the Grandaxe Clan Hall in Kal'Tarak at this time to participate.

((Clan Grandaxe will host hunts on a regular basis. It will generally always take place on Friday at 5 PM EST on a weekly basis. All dwarves are invited and encouraged to attend.))

  6. While visiting the Dwarven metropolises of Holm, Kal’Tarak, and Az’adar, one’s eye would catch itself on a nailed parchment pinned onto the city walls. It would read the following:

Our clan has not fared well during the turbulences of the War of Beards. With our leadership dismembered and our brethren scattered, I, Aemich Grandaxe, Clanlord of Clan Grandaxe, call together the descendants of Borgin to a clan moot.  The Great Paragon, Valen Grandaxe, once said, “Stand as one and we are capable of achieving any length of greatness. Stand-alone, however, and we will die alone.” When our kin splintered and separated prior to the climax of the Dwarven civil war, our clan structure shuddered and collapsed. We must mend the wounds that so grieved our clan. Let us stand together, once more we can be clan of prominence. Let us heed the wisdom of the great wordsmith and let us join together, be united and whole. Let us rally and convene. Let us develop organization among all clan-dwarves. Let us establish a foundation of which we may thrive.

    Attend the Assembly of Grandaxe

    9th of Sun's Smile, 1633

    The Whispering Crossroad

May the the glorious Descendants of Borgin rally. Blackaxes, Grimaxes or Braveaxes, you all have a place in Clan Grandaxe. I invite you all to this great moot. Let us rejoin and recall the tales of the missed pasts. Let us come together and let us work for a brighter future. Oz Kathaikaz Tazarak.

((The meeting will take place Sunday 6th at 4PM EST, 8PM GMT.))

  7. The Archbishop Sevastyan of Renatus does the cross of Horen as he walks towards gathering. He moves towards the table with deserts, slurping as he sees the delicious treats on the table. The Archbishop would take... Hmm.. one, no. not one, that is too little. Two? No not two.. Perhaps three? Yes, three... Sevastyan snatches up three cups of the delicious jelly that was sat on the tables. He would be mesmerized by the various fruits and cheeses. He thinks to himself, "Hmurph, they do look tasty...". The holy man would continue to seize various other food items. After a prolonged struggle of indecision and crisis, one would see the Archbishop moving a stack of various foods towards his seat in the gathering. The man nods as he prepares to listen as he gulps down the food he just got.
