Definitions What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you take the role of a character and act as though you are said character. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when a character uses knowledge, that the player knows, but the character is not meant to know. What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is certain way a player plays a game. A powergamer tries to make the most progress they can to a goal without key-parts of properly roleplaying. For example, If someone goes ,"*Bob throws a random rock at Ross's chest, killing him instantly*" , That would be powergaming because the just preformed the action without letting the other player react. In-Character Information Character’s name: Patrick Lione Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 28 Biography : Patrick was born in Metz, the capital of the Kingdom of Lotharingia. His parents were Ann and Fred Lione. He was raised in a middle class family and attended school. At school, he learned to read and write. Patrick's family mainly consists of wood workers, so he trained to be a woodworker to. Patrick's father, Fred, was a woodworker so Patrick was his apprentice. Patrick became a master woodworker at the age of 18. When Patrick was 20, his parents both died of an unknown disease. Life was hard for him. He had no one to talk to. The only people he interacted with was his customers. Even with both parents dead, he continued to work hard. He mainly worked so much so he didn't have to think about them. After about 1 year later, Patrick moved to the Kingdom of Courland to start a woodworking shop. Personality Traits: People often regard him as tough, but he is actually very soft. He is also kind. He also tends to let emotions build up inside him until he explodes. Ambitions: Patrick has wanted to make his parents proud more then anything. He also tries to be the best at the things he does. Strengths/Talents: He is a very skilled wood worker. He also has good hand-eye coordination, fast reflexes, and strong muscles. Weaknesses/Inabilities: One of his major weaknesses his his temper. His is very short-tempered and it often takes everything inside him to not yell or throw a punch. Appearance: He is little muscular and has brown eyes, dark brown hair, and no facial hair.
