I've dabbled in piano myself but could never get the knack for it, note reading is far too complex for a tab player like me, amazing instrument though especially if you want to get into songwriting. The double bass is so cool aswell! Don't know anyone who plays it per say but I've watched 2cellos on YouTube and they do some pretty cool stuff with the double bass. I personally wanted to get good at just bass first so I could play slap but didn't have the patience to get good at it :P And cheers, I haven't got Skype at the moment but I think it would be wise to download it so when I do I'll be sure to hit you up!

Hi all! My name's Jon (real name: Sonic Derp) and I'm a newly accepted applicant who is very excited to start on the server and get to know the (seemingly) amazing community - had to include seemingly because what would I be if I cast judgement so early on! ;) but of course I'm sure it is :) What is there to say really, I'm a massive filmophile and I'm especially fond of anything that has a good, strong narrative, or a medieval or fantasy setting. Game of Thrones is my favourite TV show (as it should be to everyone and if not you shall be branded an unrepentant sinner!) Music is my passion, the guitar is my tool, and I lurrrvvv to mek that guuuud sound. (Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb is my favourite song of all time, but my taste in music is hugely varying), oh and I'm going to start studying at the ACM in September. Life's feelin pretty good right now and I really am looking forward to meeting and roleplaying with you all on the server and forums.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Forcing an action upon another character without roleplaying it out fairly i.e if I were too say *Korvyll brings down his greatsword upon Bob, killing him instantly* In-Character Information Character’s name: Korvyll 'Deadeye' Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Human, Heartlander Character’s age: 25 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): Born in Riga in the year 1583 to Korvo, a blacksmith in the Holy Orenian Empire and a barmaid named Marianna, Korvyll was born first to his twin brother, Karvor. An interesting feature to note of Korvyll, is that from birth his left eye has been filled by pitch blackness, yet it still somehow retains its sight, which earned him the nickname 'Deadeye'. He began his life working as his fathers apprentice at his smithy and he was a quick and intuitive learner, picking up the ways of his fathers trade well. It was in these years that he also learned to be a proficient miner, with his father frequently sending him out to collect ores and minerals. He never travelled far from his home town of Riga as he never felt he needed to, with his allegiance lying solely with his family whom he loved dearly. The strongest bond he shared belonged to that of his twin brother, with whom he did almost everything. He learnt most of his values from his father who was an honourable, chivalric and loyal man, pledging his life and service to Oren right up until it's dispersion in 1595, after which he pledged his allegiances to the Kingdom of Courland. His father dreamed of becoming a knight or captain in the Orenian Army but never felt he had the proper training for it so without much ambition he remained a faithful and loyal smith, later realising however that if he tried to give his children the training that he never had, and the teachings that he was never taught, maybe they would one day go on to become something larger than themselves, and so through his fathers limited but rigorous training, Korvyll also become proficient in sword play, and learnt to live by the five chivalric virtues. After reaching the age of 25 a newfound sense of ambition and adventure seemed to have sparked within him, and with a heartfelt goodbye he set out to explore and adventure the land of Axios, carving out his own path, and forging his own destiny, for now his life truly felt as though it was his own. Personality Traits: Korvyll is confident, kind and believes strongly in using the five chivalric virtues (compassion, generosity, honour, valour and wisdom) to guide him and make decisions - he follows them as best he can. Despite this however he can also be quick to anger and say things he might later regret. He is very cautious and distrusting of outsiders and strangers. He also dislikes orcs. Ambitions: Korvyll's dream is to become a renowned warrior who is respected and feared, and with this to also serve under a lord or king that he believes in. This is his ultimate goal but another smaller ambition is to open a smithy in a major city and create some of the best armour and weapons to sell, he is constantly looking for ways to improve himself, his craft and his prowess in combat. Strengths/Talents: He is proficient at fighting with a sword as he has trained himself to the best of his ability. He is also a good at performing manual labour tasks such as mining due to his height and strength. He is also a talented smith. Weaknesses/Inabilities: His temper is high and ability to trust others low. He is also useless with a bow and incapable of performing any tasks to do with alchemy or enchanting. Appearance: He is strong, muscled and tall, standing at 6ft1. He has scraggly brown hair and a bushy brown beard. His right eye is piercing ice blue whereas the left is black, as dead as the night. His skin tone is white although he is just slightly more tanned than the average Heartlander.
