The Holy Orenian Empire, colloquially known as Oren, or the Empire, is an absolute autocratic monarchy composed of the several vassal states and territories of humanity. The official state religion is the Holy Canonist Church. Governed by an Emperor and the collective limited sovereignty of its vassals, the Holy Orenian Empire encompasses one of the most powerful, expansive, and diverse realms. It is situated along the center of the continent composed of the Imperial heartlands, with the capital city of Providence as the seat of the Empire, and its many vassal states across the continent.

The Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska
The Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, known as the Kingdom of Haense or simply Haense (New Marian: Haenz; Raevir: Henzij), is a centralized, united monarchy composed of two crowns, Hanseti and Ruska, and ruled by a single individual known as the king. Highlanders make up the majority of the population of Haense (especially Haeseni, but also Batavians, Raevir, and Norlanders) and the state claims to be the "Realm of All Highlanders''. Its current capital is Karosgrad, one of the largest human cities in Almaris, which is situated in the south of the kingdom and surrounded by the Haeseni lowlands. Excluding the dense urban area of the capital, the rest of the nation is mostly rural with its denizens spread out across the forests and highlands.

The Kingdom of Norland is an absolute monarchy ruled by a single individual known as the king. Highlanders comprise the majority of the population of Norland (specifically Norlanders) and the King claims to be 'Protector of the Highlanders'. Varhelm is the current capital of the Kingdom of Norland, which is located along the great northern mountains of Almaris. There are two primary Jarldoms which swear fidelity to the King of Norland, Luemont and Elysium. The Red Faith finds its home in the Kingdom of Norland as both the most practiced religion of the region and the official state religion, with the largest Hearth Temple standing next to the great Keep of Varhelm

The Talus Grove
The Druidic Order is a tropical oasis situated along the coast of the Painted Archipelago on the South Coast of Almaris. Boasting a grand library it serves as a place to teach budding Druids, as well as a base of operations from which the Druids uphold their vigil over nature.

Before I can whitelist you, the following changes need to be made to your application:
- Your Metagaming and Powergaming definitions are correct in essence, however they need to be explained in more detail - consider adding an example. Our Wiki has lots of information on these terms to help you correct this!
- In order for your character to be associated with an existing roleplay family, I need you to get permission from the leader of the house. If you already have this, please send it to me - otherwise consider developing this through roleplay, rather than detailing this in your application. Additionally, you only have one of the two required lore references (Hanseti-Ruska). Please find another reference - if you need help, please let me know! Hanseti-Ruska has a very friendly community that can help out, and I can get you an invite to their discord.

Your Roleplay Scenario Response just needs a few small tweaks. On LOTC, we roleplay in third person - using emotes and speech in that point of view. Be careful with divulging inner thought within your emote, as it is typical to only describe words and actions - what the other players may see your character doing and/or saying, rather than their inner thoughts. Here's an example scenario response I've written to the prompt supplied in the application:
- Mary stepped off the boat, eagerly eyeing the world around her. She walked through the bustling markets, carefully manoeuvring in order to avoid the gaze of those merchants about. When the gentleman would approach her, she offered a timid smile in return. "I suppose - well, I suppose I'm not sure. Adventure calls me, and something inside of me prompted me to board that boat, and wind up here." She spoke earnestly.
- Your Skin does not fit the standards of LOTC. Please correct this (more realistic colour and shading), and let me know if you need access to our new player skin archive.
Once you have corrected these issues, please message me here on the forums or through my discord: ivory#8860. I will review your application as soon as I am able to.

- Your Character Biography is really good! However you have only mentioned one lore reference (Elvenesse), and the application standards require two different references. I'd suggest looking on the Wiki at some lore regarding elven culture, events and/or beliefs, and including something from here. If you need, I can put you in contact with the elvenesse community to help out :)

Before I can whitelist you, the following changes need to be made to your application:
- Your Metagaming and Powergaming Definitions are almost there - I just need you to expand on them a little bit more. Thoroughly explain all aspects of the concept, as well as maybe including an example. If you need further help understanding these, refer to our [Wiki].
- Your character cannot start out being from a well-known family. Please just make this small adjustment. I also need you to include two Lore References. These could be places, events, or cultures within LOTC's lore. To find these, I suggest looking on the wiki under settlement guides, or human history.
- Your Character's Name, Fergus Bergus, also sounds a little too meme-like. Adjust this a little bit, if you could.
- Your Character's Description does not quite fit the medieval server theme. He cannot be wearing things such as hoodies.

Your Roleplay Scenario Response is not quite correct. You need to respond as your character only - detailing what they say / do in response to the prompt. Additionally, you cannot respond on behalf of another character. Also be sure to use a third person voice, as this is typically how roleplay is carried out within the server.
- An example of a response would be:
- "Thank you!" The woman said, offering the well-dressed gentleman a smile. She stepped off from the harbour's edge, glancing around the sprawling markets "I come in search of my family - they moved here long ago. I knew that when I was of age and could afford it, I would seek to find them again." She nodded once, continuing on her way.

- Your Character Biography has a start to a story, however it is a little cliche and/or edgy in nature. It is difficult to begin a character with that sort of history, so I'd suggest that you amend it to be slightly more amiable towards further role-play encounters. Consider a less brutal approach to your character's past. Additionally, I also need to see two specific Lore References. The name of the current map (Almaris) does not suffice as a proper reference. These could be places, events and/or cultures present in the server - all of which can be found on the Wiki.
- Your Roleplay Scenario Response is not quite correct. Please revise the scenario presented in the application form, and write a third person response, detailing how your character would react to the situation explained. This should include both actions and dialogue - though not detailing any inner thought of the character.
