Hey. I'm not much for formats. I like doing art, preference with pixel art. I also like skinning. So here is a small dump of stuff that I'll update. I'm open to commissions, art or skins, I don't really have a preference for payment and may just do things for fun/free if I have the self will to do it. What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: In terms of rp, it is forcing an rp action onto a character without allowing for a response or coutner if any: ie. *Max zooms past the first of three men, brutally cutting them apart with out any resistance, like a knife through butter.* In-Character Information Character’s name: Bastion Renault : Performs under Gin Rummy Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 27 Biography: Bastion was born to a simple family of tradesmen who dwelled within a small hamlet on the outskirts of Adelberg. Their home was equally simple yet comfortable. Bastion's father, Michael was a tailor, the trade of tradition on his fathers side. His mother, Theodore, remained at home to watch over Bastion and his siblings three. Childhood was easy and without much worries. The hamlet, despite the occasional difficult winters, was well accommodating and comfortable, and more importantly, managed to stay out of the eye of bandits and other ruffians. With no serious worries, the boy was allowed to roam about the fields and surrounding nature, giving way to a desire of seeing more. Bastion grew up learning his fathers trade and in his free time, the boy spent learning music from his mother. As he completed his studies and took to young adulthood, it dawned on him how cramped the village had become. The youngest of four, there was already a plethora of Renaults. And so, in hopes of greater work and room, he'd seek for business outside, leaving the village in good faith as he traveled out. Bastion roamed about from village to city, finding work at different shops. These jobs did not last long, Bastion either departing due to clashing with fellow employees/shop heads or finding himself feeling stagnant in one place. With no constant income, the tailor was left with little coin, unable to save enough for a shop of his own. To try and aid his travels and spur up further money, Bastion took to music and poetry, becoming a troubadour. The tailor continues his journey, rather content with the life on the road. Personality Traits: Bastion is a jovial fellow all around, apart from his place as a tailor, his work he holds close with the utmost pride. Despite always roaming around, he is rather lazy, keeping to only a relaxed internal clock and schedule. Seeing it as too much of a hassle, Bastion rarely commits to anything. Although he enjoys performing, he does so on his own terms and feels that any event outlines would be too much of a restraint on his creative endeavors. Ambitions: Keeping fed, comfortable, and never bored. Strengths/Talents: Craftsmen, musician. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Can not read well, little combat abilities. Appearance: The man is mostly light-skinned, his travels on the road adding some tan and weather to his face. His brunette hair is between medium and short in length, pushed lazily back behind his ears. A splash of freckles can be seen on his face and parts of his body. He is of medium build with lithe and nimble fingers that always seem to have a twitch to them. His attire varies, wearing an elaborate and flamboyant ensemble when performing and a rugged and road worthy set for his travels and work.
