Gerald Mogg's body would be delivered to House of Mogg. Upon further inspection, it would seem that the body would be prepared in ritual for a Canonist funeral. A note is neatly rolled up and placed in a carrier satchel, strapped to Gerald's chest, if opened it would read:
To whom it concerns,
Gerlad Mogg was challenged in a honourable duel. The terms were agreed upon that there would be no quarter, and if either side surrenders, or yields they will receieve a merciful death. Gerald Mogg lost in the duel after he fought bravely and fiercely. He was a loyal Canonist, upholding the faith whilst in pain until his demise.
