'Ready Player One' if you haven't seen the film already, is a seriously addictive read. George Orwell's '1984' is a classic everyone should check out. In terms of fantasy, Anything by Anthony Horowitz is good teen fiction, especially his power of five series, I highly recommend that. In terms of standalone books 'The Thin Executioner' by Darren Shan is one of my favourites.
