    As the forces of the living and the damned collide, the fate of countless men hang in the balance. Shall heroes rise to defy the encroaching doom, or shall the world succumb to the relentless march of this damnable horde? The battle for Koyo-Kuni begins . . .

    So begins the SAKURA BURNING Eventline. To preface, this Infernal Invasion Event derives from the CArt “Vutcimuz”. It shall be localized to the South-Western portion of Aevos and be centered about the Cursed Forest and the Koyo-Kuni Shugonate. Given that the Apotheosis Eventline is in full swing, I emphasize that this is NOT a global event, and is being undertaken by a skeleton crew of freelance ET. It is designed to be a standard Hack-And-Slash event throughout the month of May!

     

    For the ease of the ET involved, players who wish to participate are expected to abide by the EVENT CONTRACT as listed below, and to go through the channels of the Koyo-Kuni leadership to engage in the operations. The presiding ET DO NOT have the resources to accommodate every player group!

     

    In approximately 1 OOC week, the Cursed Forest region shall be opened for interaction, where patented ET “Noob Bullies” may engage in curious players with events, to their discretion. Again, it is emphasized that the ET will not have the resources to accommodate every player-group and it is requested that players do NOT spam SReqs for interactions, but instead use proper channels.

    1. If an encounter is not active [I.E. no active emoting], and is denoted as such, you are free to emote or proceed as much or far as you would like until given a [!] Emote.
       
    2. Any items on you mechanically are on you in roleplay. These items may be referenced in emotes, and may be seized and/or destroyed by Event Creatures if captured or disarmed.
       
    3. The exception to weapon destruction/acquisition will be afforded to Soulbinds, given that they cannot be taken without OOC consent. This, however, does NOT mean your weapon is invulnerable or incapable of being disarmed.
       
    4. Events will follow standard CRP Mechanics for Movement and Actions. The Exception to this is that Bows and Crossbows will be able to be loaded and shot in [2] Emotes.
       
    5. If late to an event, contact the Event Host in advance for a TP and note your ETA. If arriving too late where it may not be reasonable, you will NOT be teleported in.
       
    6. Please be reasonable in your actions, considerations and with roleplay-first in scope. Keep MEME RP and QUIPPING to a minimum; this may lead to cosmic correction and Death. Be respectful to the presiding ET, and communicate clearly and honestly.
       
    7. Players will be afforded 3 Minutes between ET Emotes to respond. If they do not respond by the time the ET next emotes, it shall be treated as if the player were stunned and did not take an action.
       
    8. Players are expected to clearly describe what type of an attack is occuring, and to describe any potent modifiers via their materials or enchantments; it would be helpful to ensure that critical bouts of information be entirely capitalized or bolded if VIP. For example, “John THRUSTS his AURUM SWORD at the HEAD of the enemy”.
       
    9. Players are expected to abide by the HP System below unless otherwise instructed by the presiding ET. Though it may look complex, it is very simple to implement in practice.

    HP SYSTEM

    Every player will be afforded [25] HP. They will prefix this using “/persona prefix [25/25]”.

     

    Players will ALWAYS land their hits, provided that they are issued within reason. Damage upon the Event Creature shall be calculated by the presiding ET in private.

     

    When defending from an Event Creature’s attack, both ET and Player will roll d20; the ET will ALWAYS let you know the Damage Potential, numerically, for their attack. Should the ET acquire a superior roll, the targeted player WILL BE HIT. Should the Player acquire a superior roll, the targeted player will be able to dodge, block and/or counter the hit within reason.

     

    In the event a Player is Harmed, the player shall roll the Damage Potential from the ET’s attack. Whatever the roll bids, is the damage received. The Player then subtracts this from their HP pool, and updates it on their Persona Prefix.

     

    HP CONDITIONS

    21-25 = Perfect Health

    11-20 = Minor Wounds, Light Bleeding

    06-10 = Major Wounds, Heavy Bleeding

    01-05 = Crippled Limbs, Critical Health

    0 = DEATH 死

     

    Players who reach 0 HP will be afforded a single DEUS EX MACHINA roll. They must pray IRP and acquire a roll of 15 or greater to receive an additional 5 HP to do with as they please. If a player refuses to pray or is atheist, this roll will FAIL.

     

    EXAMPLE

    1. The ET issues an attack with a DP, or Damage Potential, of [4].

    2. The ET rolls [16/20]. The Player rolls [14/20]. 

    3. The Player is hit. The Player rolls d4 per the DP and receives [3/4]. 

    4. The play subtracts 3 HP and reacts accordingly. The Player is now [22/25 HP].

    I am pleased that you have found the Temple’s amenities acceptable; yet still, it is foolish to claim that a man, or structure, might lay claim ownership to any such thing.     In honor of the coming Spring and the thawing of woeful times, Saki-Gaki is pleased to announce its first FLOWER FESTIVAL. With great reverence for Tamo-Tamo, the village shall provide an endless stream of Sake and Grub, courtesy of the Grub Bucket. The Village too shall be decorated colorfully with the hues of Sakura and Wisteria, as to honor the Lady, Chiyoko. Additionally, there shall be an assortment of activities for both locals and foreigners to partake in.

     

    1. Kimono Sō: Ladies of Sakuragakure, and abroad, are invited to showcase their finest floral Kimonos; it is recommended that they reflect the colors of Spring. A panel of judges shall award the finest Kimono with 200 Mon.

    2. Haiku-Taikai: The finest poets of Saki-Gaki, and the World, are invited to compete against one another with rounds of Haiku. Those who recite the most elegant words shall be awarded the title of “Haiku-Ō”, or King of Haikus.

    2. Hana-Zumo: As is customary of the Village, a tournament of Sumo shall be held about the City Center. Each wrestler shall be given a flower to represent, and they who win it all shall have their flower planted about the city!

     

    It shall be our greatest hope that no wicked creature accosts this Springtime festival in some damnable display. As is the season, any who would attempt to trample upon life shall feel the wrath of the thawing Sun. It is also noted that visitors are expected to follow the laws of Koyo-Kuni, lest they face the wrath of the Samurai.
