Islamadon replied to HugoAntero's topic in Lore Criteria + Submissions
interesting how at the time the lenny crowd was very upset with me ooc for defending bird5k's right to use hidden animii blades, make infinite blocks and not killing him from animii bleedout etc. @The Tough Guy got a spike in powerlevel here- 26 replies

Will be making a Cleric post soon after I finish filling out the TA and set some stuff up. Concept is Law Firm. If you want to beg for magic, bring interesting RP, I will not be that picky.

In my experience, Lectors used botany to make Paddfoot Earmuffs since it muffled out sound. This, of course, necessitates an item and the sacrifice of herbs. Not against an actual recipe or some kind of invention though.

[Alchemy Addition] Solomon's Salts
Islamadon replied to Islamadon's topic in Lore Criteria + Submissions
Exactly the intent. The Vote was extraordinarily narrow (like 9-8), and this was the middle ground that the naysayers came up with. A high cost, bottle-necked variant that provided the same function but was considerably more difficult to obtain than renaming a stack of sugar. It requires you to 1) collect a person's heart and 2) collect vampire dust. If you want three, you either need to kill a Corc for a supply of dust, or spend 30 Blisterthorn. This will prevent mass testing at gatehouses and/or roundups, and force investigators to be more selective and methodical. If the Empire wants to butcher a village to harvest 10 hearts, that's pretty Aztec and evil, and would generate content to some degree as well. The reason we wanted it to be common knowledge is because 1) salt testing has been around for years, 2) we provided RP reasoning, 3) map lore considerations down the line (iykyk). Not to slander, but Muritor's Elixir required an arm twist to spread and at that point it's basically a common recipe because books will get spammed anyways when it does get spread. So it's a bit redundant unless you want to circle jerk it in a Moroi cabal. Rather than trying to push it in-house, its being done through formal Lore Review w/ community eyes. -

SOLOMON’S SALTS [T3] ORIGIN While the origins remain unknown to the descendants, the salts were first devised by the stray Silit Archon, Solomon the Scholar, who was drafted by the Stone Serpent to experiment upon the corcituri captured by Mictlanti the Turnkey in the wake of Eireamhan’s betrayal. Through heinous trial and error, this recipe was perfected and cloistered by Malghourn’s inner circle for its use not only in torturing the mongrel corcituri, but also as a means of torturously igniting the marrows of full-blooded siliti by capitalising on the Stone Serpent’s immortal design with the sacrifice of a mortal heart for its latent genus and salination borne from the Night of Ten Treacheries. In the depths of Hazmstadt there are mere whispers - rumours most vile - that Malghourn’s most hated enemies and the forsaken Ucigas have been flayed and entombed in coffins brimming with Solomon’s Salts, denied even the peace of sleep in their eternal imprisonment. So potent was Solomon’s machination that these salts found themselves capable of torturing even the siliti of Eireheman’s brood, regardless of their hunger. Upon learning of the descendant diaspora’s uncovering of one such Ucigas on the Isles of Azuras, Malghourn has since written this secretive recipe into the dreams of alchemists. Through the careful arrangement of blood runes reminiscent of Solomon’s Salts in a Transmutation Circle of the Material Alphabet, the Stone Serpent’s agents have broadcast its recipe into the dreaming minds of all capable of deciphering it. RECIPE BASE: Saltwater 1 Mortal Heart 1 Vampire Dust ◈ Aether | Instability [x4] ◈ Earth | Poison [x2] ◈ Earth | Death [x2] ◈ Mundane | Burning [x2] CREATION PROCESS An alchemist first must prepare a basin of Salt Water, and mix the crushed contents of a fresh Mortal’s Heart. The alchemist then adds a dash of Vampire’s Dust, and performs a second thorough mixing. Thereafter, the alchemist mixes the measures for Aether | Instability and Mundane | Burning, and sets the concoction to a lit flame for reduction. When the liquid has reduced by half, the alchemist then adds the measures for Earth | Poison and Earth | Death, which rapidly aids to crystalize the substance into a salt-like product. To complete the process, the rendered salts must be left to soak in the sun for a period of one day. EFFECTS When applied to the open wound of a Corcitură, these red salts feel as hot coals, amplifying in pain and causing their blood to bubble agonizingly as the salt dissolves into it. Though non-lethal, too would the Corcitură become encumbered by pain for [2] emotes, and become unable to sprint or maintain a magical connection. Solomon’s Salts amplify the Salination bane of Corcituri derived from their silit nature and the scorn of their maker’s maker, Malghourn. The fortification of these salts renders them as vulnerable when fed as they would be to ordinary salt whilst thirsting. REDLINES ◈ Vampire Dust constitute ashes harvested by burning the remains of a Corcitură. A table is provided below for what may be harvested from a felled Corcitură. Notably descendant in nature, Vampire Dust harvested from a Corcitură can also be utilised in place of descendant ashes in the creation of Sigismund’s Candles (though Vampire Dust created from Blisterthorn will not suffice for this). 1 Corcitură Head 1 Vampire Dust 1 Corcitură Limb 1 Vampire Dust 1 Corcitură Torso 2 Vampire Dust 10 Blisterthorn 1 Vampire Dust ◈ Blisterthorn serves as an alternate substitute for Vampyric remains per its lore origins, albeit shall require greater abundance to provide a similar effect. In the event of shelving, this shall be cut from the recipe. ◈ Mortal Heart may be harvested from any slain Descendant or Hybrid race with a Greater Soul, regardless of any MA or FA that they may possess. This includes the hearts of Corcituri, as well as Lycans, Mori’quessir and Kharajyr. However, the hearts of immortal, alchemic or aberrant creatures such as Klones, Homunculi, Inferi, Moroi or Undead will not suffice. ◈ An acceleration of the Salination bane specific to Corcituri, Solomon’s Salts have no effect on the Ibleesian blood of moroi. ◈ Mortal Hearts may not be harvested from event NPCs, and only from fellow players. This may be affirmed via a player signed item, or confirmed via RP screenshots. These Hearts must be used within 2 OOC Days lest they be considered Inert. ◈ The use of a Mortal Heart must be done all at once, though may provide enough alchemical base for [3] Hunter’s Salt items, consuming all of the alchemist’s daily batch slots. An alchemist may choose to forgo up to ⅔ of these potential items in order to preserve their slots for other recipes, though the remaining Mortal Heart would be wasted. ◈ Solomon’s Salt requires an ST Signature to be considered valid, and is considered to be a COMMON KNOWLEDGE, T3 recipe. Corc players avoiding manned gates challenge [impossible] Evil RPers dance precariously upon a cliff's edge. It seems that they do not grasp that if they take away the legal methodology of outing them as freaks, the greater community can return to old ways in looking at their skins and going "they make me uncomfortable". From this, they can just cave their skull in with a steel bludgeon, with complete RP legality, due to simple discomfort or the backing of newly passed cloak-and-basement laws (why were you there? do you have a license for that?) The Salt Test, necessitating an item, declaws unprepared testers and provides a higher degree of validity for "they are metagaming" claims in defense of Corc RPers in Sus Issues (LT Enforcement). This also applies for other testing methodologies, like Sigismund Candles for Mystics. Essentially, these pushes are advocating for the loss of your own player rights by enabling players to kill you for worse reasons (I am victim blaming, but only for Evil RPers). NOTE: This response is not an official LT or ST stance.

» Google Drive Download « Hello. The lukewarm 1.21.11 update is here and I have been maddeningly stress-testing my personal modpack for the past few days in preparation for the public release. Unfortunately, I am a misanthrope playing Minecraft as a hobby and so cannot empathize with hardware limitations; if your computer sputters while using this modpack just remove the particle mods. It should be obvious, but INSTALL FABRIC. Hopefully I don't give anyone malware - please let me know if so. Screenshots of Azuras [No Shaders] [Click To Enlarge] [ Immersion Mods] 3D Skin Layers Renders the Player Skin Layer in 3D. Better Clouds Adds beautiful, custom clouds that enhance the vanilla experience. Boat Item View View your held items while sitting in a moving boat. Effectual Adds atmospheric effects and decorative particles. Falling Leaves Enables leaf particles to gently fall from visible leaf blocks. Lamb Dynamic Lights Torches, Lanterns, etc. emit light while in a Player’s hand. N.E.A. Adds upon and improves the animations of the Player in 3rd person. Particle Rain Rehauls weather with unique effects. A must have for Storm Island RPers. Particular Reforged Enhances Minecraft’s ambience with hand-crafted visual effects. Tightfire Makes fire render on half-slabs and fences [i.e. will not float in the air]. Voxy A less resource intensive Distant Horizons. Uses LOD to gain infinite render distance. Notes • Better Clouds is currently suffering an error where they do not seem to generate on Azuras because we use custom biomes. I do not know the fix for this currently. • How to Maximize Particle Rain Mist Ambiance: 1. Escape → Mods → Particle Rain 2. Mist After Rain → Click ON → Edit . . . → When to Spawn: During Weather 3. Block List . . . → Add New x4 as follows EXACTLY → #minecraft:concrete_powder → minecraft:gravel → minecraft:blackstone → minecraft:water [Gameplay Mods] Appleskin Adds various Food-Related HUD improvements. Better Mount HUD Enables the Player to see the hunger bar in addition to their Mount’s HP. Command Keys Binds command hotkeys, e.g., /walk & /sneak. Freelook Hotkey that enables a 360 view of your character [Hold or Toggle] [Not Freecam]. JourneyMap A map mod with a World Map and Mini Map. Can group and organize Waypoints. Logical Zoom Press C [or relevant keybind] to zoom your camera in. ViaFabricPlus Permits backwards connection to outdated Minecraft Servers. WorldEdit GUI Provides a client side user interface for WorldEdit. XPlus Autofish Automatically reels in and recasts fishing rod when a fish is caught. Do NOT AFK. Notes • JourneyMap has player entity radar. Disable it for fair play lest you risk obliteration by the Mod Team. You can customize your Minimap in the Map Menu. • Command Keys is super useful for ST during events, or for other repetitive commands in game. Don’t be a moron and use this to hot-key halt emotes. [UI + Quality of Life Mods] Auto HUD Dynamically hides interface elements when not active. Better Ping Display Displays the true numerical ping of players in the tab list. BetterF3 Replaces Minecraft’s F3 HUD with a highly customizable, color-coded HUD. Blur+ Blurs and darkens the background of the game when entering the inventory or settings. Controlling Adds the ability to search for keybinds using their name in the Controls menu. Dark Loading Screen Makes the Minecraft loading screen dark. Fast IP Ping Skips the loading time to test Server IPs when looking at the Server List. Immersive Hotbar Adds animations to the hotbar to make it more immersive. Immersive UI Makes interacting with items in the inventory more “flashy”. Mod Menu Provides a list of your installed mods and enables the tweaking thereof. Not Enough Crashes Returns the Player to the Main Menu in the event of a crash. SmoothGUI Adds a smooth animation to GUI interfaces. Notes • Spend the time using Controlling and Mod Menu to adjust your mod settings and keybindings . You will have many overlapping controls and will be frustrated unless you sort them out. [Writing Mods] Emoji Type Enables the insertion of custom emojis via a colon hotkey, e.g. :swirl → ꩜ D.I.C.T. Disables warning toasts about connecting to servers without enforcing secure chat. More Chat History Increases the length of chat history from 100 messages to 16,384. No Chat Reports Strips cryptographic signatures from player messages. Scholar A book mod that lets you see two pages at a time, and enables high quality text editing. Stendhal A book writing interface that stacks with Scholar. Can be used to copy signs in-game. Notes • As stated above, Scholar and Stendhal can be installed at the same time. Scholar takes priority. To edit books, highlight the text, and then format. You may need to enable this in mod options. Stendhal remains good for copying signs and clicking on emojis. • Emoji Type can be used to store multi-character Emojis or foreign script. You can disable the ones you don’t want in Mod Options. [Performance Optimization Mods] BadOptimizations Helps to optimize the game with things other than rendering. Connectivity Mod Helps to support server connection issues. Cull Leaves Adds culling to leaf blocks, providing a huge performance boost over vanilla. Entity Culling Hides tiles and entities that are not currently visible. FerriteCore Reduces memory usage in Minecraft. ImmediatelyFast Speeds up and optimizes immediate mode rendering in Minecraft. Krypton Optimizes the minecraft networking stack and entity tracker. Lithium Optimizes Minecraft and makes performance improvements. More Culling Changes how multiple types of culling are handled to improve performance. R.S.O. Replaces Sodium’s options screen with something that is more user-friendly. ScalableLux Rewrites the light engine to fix lighting performance and lighting errors. Sodium A powerful rendering engine that greatly improves frame rates and micro-stutter. Sodium Extra Adds additional features that are not in base Sodium. S.S.P.B. Introduces vanilla-like smooth lightning to path blocks in Sodium. [Resource + Shader Pack Mods] E.M.F. Expansion of the ETF mod and adds support for OptiFine custom entity model packs. E.T.F. Adds support for Resource Pack driven features for entity textures. IRIS Shaders A modern shader that is compatible with OptiFine shader packs and Sodium. No R.P. Warnings Disables the scary red warnings from “outdated” Resource Packs. OptiGUI Adds custom GUI textures on Fabric and adds custom GUI Resource Pack support. Polytone Enables Resource Packs to use custom colors. Respackopts Adds configuration menus for compatible Resource Packs. Skyboxify Enables the use of OptiFine skyboxes in Sodium. VTDownloader Enables changes to Vanilla Tweaks in-game and can upload them directly to the client. Notes • Not every IRIS shader is compatible with Voxy. I have included some of my favorites. • Not every Skybox will successfully port over to Sodium, even with Skyboxify. I have included some of my favorites. [Sound Mods] AmbientSounds Expands Minecraft’s audio with myriad natural sounds. (Creative Core) Presence Footsteps Adds unique footstep sound effects to minecraft. S.P.R. Provides realistic sound attenuation, reverberation, and absorption through blocks. Sounds A highly configurable sound overhaul mod that adds new sound effects. [API + Libraries] Cupboard API API [Dependency] CreativeCore API [Dependency] Fabric API API [Dependency] Fabric L. Kotlin API [Dependency]] ForgeConfigAPIPort API [Dependency] LibJF Library [Dependency] MaLiLib Library [Dependency] MossyLib Library [Dependency] M.R.U. Library [Dependency] owo-lib Library [Dependency] Searchables Library [Dependency] ShatterLib Library [Dependency] TLib Library [Dependency] Y.A.C.L. Library [Dependency] I will inevitably get questions asking “Where is Figura?” and “Where is Advanced Chat?”; I do not like them. They frighten and disturb me. The pit of madness I’ve seen it pull noble souls into is deep, and only the strongest have managed to remain tasteful with these mods. However, I have been encouraged by Megavoltar to entrust the playerbase into acting responsibly with these mods. Please do not abuse these. [Optional Dangerous Additions] Figura Adds “bones” and jiggle physics to your minecraft character. Advanced Chat Adds 5 additional chat screens to your client to obstruct your vision.

Not to spam the thread, but you still haven't refuted the lack-of-KOS claim. Kurai is likely to be giving Obok Metaldrinks a vassal territory and permit dwarf refugees who aren't being a-holes rply. Also, don't misrepresent the above RP. You were mistaken for a Salvo soldier and were advocated for being spared rather than turned into Argentum. Sorry that our noobs and vast endless boomsteel stores obliterated you man!
