Upon entering Carloustadt and witnessing the newly brazened Negro y Naranja decorations, something peculiar caught the attention of the Grand Knight, Ser Pius. Twas an egg, odd in color, yet massive compared to others. Beside it, he saw Augustus standing, proud and tall. There was no water within the city, so this was obvious. But something was wrong. This egg - it seems ominous, as if it had an evil intent in mind.

If you aren't critically wounded IRP, meaning you can't just emote dying, you should not be able to break free when multiple people have binded and captured you. You either get rescue raided or get free'd by that "you can ss after however long" rule

Yep I'd be fine with that as a declaration of intent so long as it has actually been rped and isn't a 1 day alt with no rp at all on the persona 

 

@Zhulik we were actually going to modify the head rule to be in line with this proposal if it ended up passing. 

I mean you can't really force the players to rp a certain way can you? If a person wants to rp bleeding out or dying are you still going to force their capture? seems like gm overreach.

Edit: I also don't like breaking free of binds to be an random roll either. Seems unrealistic If I were captured immediately and rolled a 20/20, I could then try running. Then, force pvp default and escape through MC mechanics.

Abusable in what sense? out of curiosity

1.4 Any individual that is downed during the duration of a raid (within the confines of the raided settlement and its immediacy) may be captured even if they are popped or D40. To do so make a modreq while providing a screencap of the individual being downed, ideally accompanied by a timestamp.

1. Captives may roll to break their bonds. A captive is permitted 3 tries but must do so with the supervision of a Moderator. Bonds of any kind will be broken on a roll of 15+.

2. If someone is executed or bleeds out during the raid they may not be captured / tped back.

First ez abuse is just emoting you bleed out to avoid capture. Additionally on this point, if you've ever dealt with uncooperative prisoners, the bind breaking stuff is actually abusable to the highest degree. It took me and my guys 2 hours once to get Manatee to a prison cell and then they just shut off. Now couple that with ROLLS to escape - yeah no.

Next, I think the prevention of non-loyalty declared chars is also sort of dumb. If you've a merc char who has no alleigance and tags along for the promise of loot, that should be alleigance enough.

I also spit on the taking of heads because you can't do it normally. If I was able to kill a peasant on the road right now solo, I could not take their head without permission. The same should apply for a raid. Alternatively, modify the head rule so that only ATTACKERS can have their heads taken by Defenders. Or, make it so that you can only acquire a head through RP and make the option that if you execute someone, you either give them your MC head or gear.

Between the chest popping, head taking, the massive cool-downs and 1 hour notification to GMs, I can safely say these rules are p dumb

Edit since Narthok posted right as I did: The cooldowns are still stupid and this system seems abusable.

Not inherently a bad idea either considering lore-wise the sword only grants wisdom and no pvp advantage.

Players/Group Requesting: The Empire of Man and the Order of the Red Dragon

What kind of Event are you looking for?: The Empire is looking for an overarching quest-line of sorts, to give Knights some quests to do. The Empire would also prefer it to be related to Human lore in some capacity (I can help with the provision of such). Events can be anything, really, from one-on-one interactions and dungeons to massive group PVE battles. The main goal is just that there's an overarching plot or interactions, if possible, so that we get more bang for our buck. A possible event line that may be interesting to the ET at-least is the Vaeyl Order since apparently they were former servants of Horen, which would naturally make the Imperium Septimus their enemy not because we're poaching their land, but because we would think them to be impostors and not real humans.

Approximately, what time/date you want the Event to take place?: Can be disccused. If it's multiple events, then a single time may be fruitless to describe.

The Embarrassment of Haense

TO OUR BELOVED SUBJECTS,

This Saint’s Day we have delivered a swift and bludgeoning blow to the morale of Toby-Junior’s coalition. One of the crutches of the coalition, Haense, was greatly embarrassed by their inability to maintain order and safety within their own coronation.

For those who are currently un-informed with the transpiring of this Saint’s Days events, the Crown of Renatus-Marna thusly provides you a timeline summary of what occurred and how it occured.

1. The Crown of Renatus-Marna dispatched its Heavy-Infantry to engage with and cause disruption within The Duchy of Haense’s coronation ceremony.

2. The Renatian Heavy-Infantry made contact within the throne room. Outnumbered two to one, Renatus swiftly and efficiently butchered all those within-- Dukesguard and engaged partisans alike.

3. The newly dubbed Duke of Haense, Franz Barbanov, was captured following the defeat of he and his Dukesguard.

4. Whilst dragging the Duke of Haense back to the proud Capital of Senntisten, a Haensetic/Courlandic relief force engaged the Heavy-Infantry with equal numbers, and too, were defeated.

5. Duke Franz Barbanov, having been brought before his Majesty, King Aurelius I, was offered then offered gracious terms for surrender and exit to this war.

6. Being stubborn, and acting akin to a sycophant, Duke Franz Barbanov was swiftly executed by the Renatian Crown in front of dozens of witnesses.

Thus, Renatus issues this missive to all vassals, allies and enemies of the realm in order to reinforce the victory held this day. Though it is unfortunate that the Duchy of Haense is stubborn, let the record show that should Duke Franz Barbanov roam the streets as if he were among the living, that he is a necrotic of the highest caliber and is immediately recommended for excommunication and Pontifical denunciation.

Additionally, the Crown of Renatus-Marna has decided to alter its acknowledgement of Haense as a Kingdom. As the reader may have read, The Kingdom of Renatus has now thusly dubbed Haense a Duchy. The reasoning behind this decision is rather simple. Haense has failed, with their newly crowned ‘King’, to defend their own coronation-- which by Renatian standards makes the King and the Kingdom illegitimate. Additionally, Haense makes no independent decisions as it is currently being used as a proxy for King Tobias-Junior of Courland, making them a large vassal. As such, the Kingdom of Renatus views Haense as a Duchy within Courland. Should anyone criticize about Renatus mistaking Haense for a Duchy on the basis of error, let their stupidity be known and may all laugh at them.
