Maracus was born near Ker'nor 192 years ago, his mother and father both lower class dark elves died when he was young from a famine that hit their village suddenly. Maracus was adopted by a woman named Menera, a mali’ker woman who at the time, was a young adult. She raised Maracus for who knows what reasons. Maracus looked at her as if she was her real mother, this leading to his strong attachment and comfortability around women. Menera would always read books to him when he was younger as Maracus always loved learning new things, driven by his curiosity.
After the passing of Menera, Marcaus was very sad and distressed. He then found himself traveling every place he could, trying to do what he always wanted, studying the history of the world and the secrets it holds. Maracus craved knowledge and wanted to learn as much as he could. He would become a traveling scholar would go from library to library reading every book he could lay hands on. Maracus just arrived in Artas through his own boat and he hasn’t settled down with any woman yet. Maracus does intend to live somewhere near a library, though where he does not know yet.
