  1. It's taken me awhile, but I did it! This was my second Blockbench project but my first coded Figura model. It is nearly completely animated, and completely textured. (I textured the scorpion part itself, the human part was modified from https://www.planetminecraft.com/skin/ftu-medieval-peasant/ submitted by ReveredOwl) Ultimately, the project came out to 72 cubes, 34 bones, and according to Figura 11.52kb. There is an idle animation (as shown in images) and a currently unfinished walk animation, because 8 legs are hard to work with! Every leg has 3 joints each, meaning 24 bones went in to making the legs. The model of the legs has had 5 iterations, and the scorpion body merely 2. I think my favorite part of the model is that the human part of it is actually smaller than an actual player model (armour stand for comparison in images), so as I worked on the texturing and animation, I started to think of a character for this funky little project. His name is Melanie SANDches. Though his old folks are strong and barbaric, and his siblings are all natural-born warriors, ready for greatness, Melanie is small, weak, and nothing but a runt to his family. Giving him a blade is nothing more than a danger to him and his clumsiness, and his stinger is the weakest out there, rendering him harmless. Though he wishes for peace (and at the very least some friends), he also wishes for his family's approval, and that approval won't come without trouble. At the end of the day, this was a difficult way to learn, but a way I learnt from nonetheless. It would be cool if I could use this somewhere, but unfortunately for me, I do not, so this has just ended up being 'for fun'. That's all from me, remember to hydrate!
  2. The image below is how it looks so far. I am still working on it and it is not yet finished but i like it so far. I am going to change the horse model and texture to look like the Giant Elk featured in the Hobbit movies when i name my horse. Enjoy :D
