  1. I live in the woods so I don't get a choice, except I'm a stupid little idiot baby man who put her horse whistle in her itemcache with nowhere to empty it, so I'm getting my steps in and walking 2,000 blocks to my tent every day
  2. The idea of three different magics being able to create the same thing because a magic broomstick is such a wide concept is genuinely the greatest idea I've seen in five years on this server
  3. My persona Estel Snjórmaehr I can be added to this lair application as a member (Username; VaporwaveParrot). This character holds an MA in Blood Magic and will be joining this group. Should the staff examining this application wish to verify my MA, they will need to contact ST, as my MA is hidden.
  4. The point of a lair is to host a small group that does not otherwise fit into existing nations, vassals, or lairs. Runeheart fits into that exactly. Our characters all have reasons that prevent them from joining or aligning with existing nations or vassals. Finding a character that refuses to live anywhere else is genuinely like pulling a common card. Anyone who intends to argue that lairs are for darkspawn groups need to realise that darkspawn nations are entirely possible and darkspawn vassals aren't rare, but darkspawn lairs are made anyways. A lair can fit a coven-sized group so that it can grow. We are a coven-sized group with the intent to grow.
  5. I'm not saying that the treelords here were without fault, as from what I hear the way the trees were stored was less than genius, but being able to permanently kill several characters in one interaction sounds like an insanely effective way to destroy roleplay groups and should be considered anti-RP. At least in warclaims if a group's tile is taken they can monk revive and disperse, but this exterminates a population.
  6. I really do encourage being able to use more architects. My friend and I love spending time and roleplaying in the tundra, bringing others and activity with us, but we're too few for a lair, so the tent architects have been incredibly helpful for having actual structures outside of the one abandoned village. Keep it up Aesop!! :D
  7. The Ashwood Druii found herself holding such a missive in her hand, taking several moments to read over it. She rubbed her one eye and took another several moments to read again. Were she dreaming? Need she pinch herself to make sure? Though partially blind, she had seen this coming from several tiles away.
  8. [!] Written on the 2nd of The Deep Cold, 231 S.A., this missive is spread far and wide, reaching every corner of Aevos by letter or by mouth. Its contents has become public knowledge “THE TUNDRA GRIEVES” Many know me as an aunt-figure, many more do not know me at all, but today, we all grieve together. With us, the winter winds howl with a shivering fear and the clouds thunder with a deep anguish as I announce to the people of Solheim- THE ATROCITIES OF NORLAND On the 1st of The Deep Cold, year 231 of the Second Age, The Kingdom of Norland launched a raid against the temporary construction of The City-State of Vansk, during which they torched a tent and dared to try to light the rest ablaze, only for any further destruction to be washed away by the tundric weather. In the chaos, three orphaned children who had been brought to the safety of Vansk by the Foxtrot Family Orphanage were stolen from their crib and torn from the snowlands in which they were meant to be raised in. These children were: Mimir A dark-elf newborn girl. Hodo A highlandic six-month-old boy. Kyren A heartlandic one-year-old girl. The Kingdom of Norland chose to attack during an event in which would have raised money to not only construct our city but also a grand orphanage named after my late mother Celenar Foxtrot. The loss of the men and women who fought to defend our walls we grieve deeply. As of current, myself nor the Foxtrot family know the condition of these children, nor of their fate. We pray for their safe return, but this cannot be done without the cooperation of Norland. MY PLEA I wish for no violence nor chaos, I mere beg for the safe return of these children so that they may find peace at home once more. Tell your falcons and crows to send your letters to Estel, and pray that they find their way to me to tell me of my childrens’s survival and your intent to return them. ~ Estel Clausenharte Foxtrot Heiress of Clan Foxtrot, Aunt of Many Greats, Bestel OOC:
  9. The Phoenix's Nest Crumbles Written & Signed Year 224 S.A. on the 18th of The Deep Cold I, Chief Estel Clausenharte Foxtrot-Anarórë of Clan Anarórë, hereby pass the mantle of Chief Clan Anarórë on to my most beloved kin Chieftain Iosefka Anarórë of Grenzstadt including any involved lands, properties, or titles. Clan Anarórë will remain within the Kingdom of Norland’s borders and retain its status as a clan of the Kingdom of Norland despite its passing of leadership. ~ Chief Estel Clausenharte Foxtrot-Anarórë Chief of Clan Anarórë, Heiress of Clan Foxtrot, Aunt of Many Greats, (Proudly) Io’s Great-Aunt In the 22nd year of the Second Age I took my first steps upon Norlandic soil. I was merely nineteen then, and I was afraid of my own shadow, but nonetheless I was fostered by the Kingdom of Norland, and it soon became my home. Now, two centuries later, I stand upon Norlandic soil and it sickens me. The crops have been spoiled, the people around me stand hateful and cruel, and the crown sits upon the brow of a court jester whose jokes are puppeteer by a clown. Where is the Norland I spent over one-hundred years fighting for? Where is the nation my friends and companions died on the frontlines protecting? Where is the Norland that stood kind to any stranger that wandered into its tavern? It is dead, and it died in the hands of a rabbit trapped in the throat of a snake. I am leaving Norland, and I take with me nothing but my own bones and flesh. To abandon my family in this manner is already cruel, but what would be crueler would be to uproot my entire lineage. This mercy is my last act as chief. [OOC]
  10. Chief Estel Foxtrot-Anarórë of Norland looked upon the letter amidst packing her office. For two centuries she had been undeniably loyal to Norland, and now, perhaps she would have to remove Norland from her title if she wanted to garner any respect. Her nation was becoming a joke led by jesters.
  11. Chief Estel Foxtrot-Anarórë arrived on her horse to the sight of the manor; feeling her heart ache as she dismounted from the horse. She had been told that her niece had gone missing, and perhaps that had led her to believe there was something recoverable of her beloved kin, but as she watched the building's foundations collapse into a pile of smoke, ash, and flames, she knew in her heart that there would be nothing but grief in her future. During their first interaction, Estel had told her niece Chief Willow Sturmstrike that she would not cry, for it made her look weak. Now, stumbling upon her niece's last resting place, she could do nothing but weep. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Far away, Regalis Sturmstrike felt a disturbance in the force, and they are filled with a sudden grief.
  12. News of the wolves spread to Estel, but not quite her directly. Her empty gaze zoned in on one corner of the room towards the general direction of her plated uniform, and her eyeless face appeared stuck in consideration and thought. 'No blindness will stop me from protecting my family', she decided. IGN: VaporwaveParrot Discord: lunan_exe
  13. +1 I just wish I could properly grow it in Norland, my elf would've loved to try and grow one to replace actual flames in a fireplace. Would also love to see something about what happens when its consumed, it'd help flesh out any potential rp involving the flower because people like to eat things they're not meant to. Even a 'this flower has no effect when consumed' would be great!
