Sophie was born in the Duchy of Adria near where the county of Auvergne now stands. Her mother and father were wealthy canonists who spent their lives fighting creatures and heathens. Her main interests would be to join the Varendoz Adventuring Guild to live in her parent's footsteps, doing as they did and going to mass. She often spends most of her time studying and reading about the different creatures of Atlas, her favorite being Aenguls.
