Aridan was born in Aegis in the year 1286. With his father, Bariman, he had sailed to Asulon when they were forced to leave Aegis. In Asulon Bariman and Aridan had served under Kjell Ireheart. Aridan was not born in the Great Kingdom of Urguan but he was pretty much raised there. He fought in the war against the Warnation of Krugmar. Because of this Aridan was raised to be a warrior at a very early age. Even greater than his ability to use weapons was his ability to make them. Aridan quickly took to smithing in his youth and specialized in armour and weapons. He also fought in the War of The Beards recently and he has been well off ever since Khaz’ Ulrahs victory against the Grand Kingdom of Urguan due to the sides his clan took. In terms of personality, the good of the people my not always be in Aridans best interests, as he values wealth and gems very much, and can be greedy. But his honour is everything to him, even more so than his riches. He is a dwarf of his word and when he says we will do something it may as well be signed on a contract. His family is sacred to him and he would die for the good of his clan. He never betrays friends and while he doesn’t make them easily once he does he’ll stay friends with them for life. He can be grumpy, cynical and is usually suspicious of other races, being rather xenophobic, and racist. But despite his misgivings about other races he is not unwilling to do business with them or possibly make friends with them. He also likes to preach about his religion a lot, though he is not a member of the clergy. He also wishes to learn the art of Golemancy.
