This tale starts in a small cottage in the city of Brandybrook, a Hobbit settlement near Aegrothond. Odo Puddlefoot was an adventurous young lad, often running around and sticking his nose in other people’s business. This trait would be both his uprising and his downfall. One day, as young Odo was running through his parent’s crop fields, strange things could be heard from the forest near his home. Being a curious young lad, Odo went snooping around, discovering it was a group of Raguk. Odo saw weapons and got frightened, running off from his hiding spot making a racket. The Raguk followed him home, wanting to punish him for watching them.
The following events are no longer recorded in the history books, for the events were so grave no one dared write anything down. The Raguk launched an assault on The Farm, kidnapping Odo’s parents in the process. Odo managed to slip away unnoticed, running and never looking back. He wanders the land’s seeking redemption for his deeds and looking for his family, that is, if they still live to this day.
“Hello, my friend.” Odo would say, bowing. “I was wondering if you have an Inn here for me to stay the night? for I am weary from my travels across the seas from lands beyond.” Odo said as he starred at the bustling city, studying the passing crowds for any shady figures.
