    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When you take OOC knowledge and put it into IC (in character); ex: a friend on Discord saying you're at X and need help and you arriving IC to provide assistance

Born to two parents, Johnathan Wendell and Maril Wendell, Markus Wolf Wendell was conceived. During his conception, his parents were much looking forward to baring children as Markus would be their firstborn. During his most youthful years, to which he struggles to recall, Markus was a playful soul. When he reached just before his adolescence, he was invited to study under his father the art of tact. As per traditions, Markus willingly studied under his father's wing until he reached the age of 16, where he then made the choice to venture out into the world. 

 

Markus has ambitions to travel the world and experience Arcas’ many wonders. Since then setting out into the world he has been from settlement to settlement but finds the nature of the Dominion to be a particularly nice waypoint for him. Markus also has a mild interest in magic, particularly of the void calibre. He finds the study of manifesting these miracles particularly interesting, but also has ambitions one day to pick up a sword and learn how to fight in many different styles. While appreciating knowledge, and warfare, Markus doubles as a bookworm and fighter. But from time to time, it is not common to see Markus running from library to library and settlement to settlement, searching for unique tomes and knowledge.

Physical Description: Markus' face is relatively clean and well kept in terms of hygiene, boasting blue eyes and brown hair.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

  • Your Backstory contains references to the land of Atlas such that it appears as though you are presenting it as being the current map. While it is worded fine, and doesn’t directly state this, I just want you to understand that the current map is Arcas, not Atlas. Due to us changing maps very recently, not all references to Atlas have been replaced.
  • Your Interesting Facts is missing a unique negative characteristic. Please update it to include this. “Combative” isn’t necessarily bad, so if you’d like to stick with it, please elaborate.
