  1. Saevin looks the missive over with a perked brow "Wai' soh otha people don' play hide-n-seek with these fahkin' cobbers?" he addresses an empty tavern, the mist, and undead since vanquished from the Stygian Hollow. "Oy've kept them just close enough to look far me for hours in tha hollow. They's aint seen a peek. Whys they complainin' about the blokes they can see? And nay tha fahker's they can't? Sounds loik theys got a bit of copin' to do."

What group/playerbase are you most involved with? Fenn, Mitzuul Grove, Stygian Hollow.

    Ban History

I got banned under the accusation of meta-gaming for 1 week while leading a bandit group. I still stand by that I wasn’t.

    Blacklist History:

I made some naughty comments and got blacklisted from the forums for a day or two when I was angry. Took nearly 10 months off after that so it didn't much affect me.

Why do you want to join the Event Team?

I wish to join the event team simply to make myself doing events easier. I've been doing DIY events for a long while now, and I figure joining the event team is the next logical step to making more interesting events. Extending my contacts to include people who're better than I am at events. Bounce ideas off of them.

Why should we accept you onto the Team?

I feel that Fenn is a growing settlement, I've already done a few DIY events for the Kharajyr in past years. One recently for the Fenn, and I think it'd only be beneficial for both of us. I'm not much different from any other generic ET besides maybe how I approach things. But even then, I think the help would be welcome on both ends.

What kind of events do you aspire to create?:

Longer-term, story-driven quests above all else. A specific problem I've always had even with just short-term events is imagining a larger overarching story that they could fit into. A relic from the couple years of DMing. Always lining up for the next thing in an overarching story.

    What makes a good event?

What I think makes a good event isn't as much the actions of the event itself as much as the action of what happens in it. The emotion, questions, or seeking answers, that drive the event, and the player to complete it and the player's own mindset make a good event. The ooc reputation of the event actor is included under that.

Create three in-depth event scenarios. I’m not looking for some prelude or whimsical idea here -- we want an indicator as to your talent and potential to be on the ET. You don’t need to write a word-for-word script, but we want a solid structure and plan as to how you’d organize and carry out an event:

3 types of events initially come to mind, small 1 time events, medium-large one time events, and a storyline.

I’ve detailed them all on separate google docs that will be linked below.

    Dwarves Drink Free Night

This coming Stone week there will be a dwarves drink free night in the Stygian Hollow to reach out to the dwarves of Urguan. Included in the festivities will be an organized-in-the-moment brawl, free alcohol, and a number of snacks.

All dwarves across Almaris are invited to come fight, drink, and be entertained. Signs will be put up to guide you to the tavern day of the event.

    Spoiler

    OOC:
The event will start around Saturday, 28th, 5pm EST, and likely run till activity dies off in the passing hours.

  4. Meriel hears the brief of the article before she shrugs, not exactly one for elven unity. "He's got a point I suppose . . . But I still don't like 'thill." the blind says simply. "Oh I guess unless they're Fay, but Fay doesn't count. She's basically 'Fenn anyways. I think."

  5. Kavrel sighs some "GOD be with us, our fate is predetermined. That much I know, yet, I cannot help but wonder. Why is it that we rally 20 or so and only 12 are in condition to fight by the time of arrival... Perhaps a new doctrine is in order."

  6. Kavrel raises a glass of wine in a toast, nodding and smiling "Well written, Mira, even for of our kin you prove wise beyond your years. Ave Sedan." The man says in agreement: "GOD be with you, ome'ii." He concludes his statement before readying for tomorrow's drill.
