Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

CREATION

Ghouls are undead made from descendants who have since died, or been murdered, and now are made to serve their Necromantic master. Through the Rite of Summoning, a T4 Necromancer or a Paramount can create a ghoul by forcing the soul of a dead descendant to slip the soulstream and be pulled back into a corpse, fresh or not. This Rite is freeform so long as the creator roleplays forcing the soul back into the body and infusing it with life force. 

RESURRECTION

Ghouls may be revived by their creator with the Rite of Return after 30 minutes, wherein the creator will hear their cries from their own mind. If the creator is an archlich, they may be revived instantly. The ghoul in question must always drop all their items upon their death, as they will RPly be moved into a different corpse. This Rite may not be performed in combat. 

MENTALITY and PHYSICALITY

Ghouls were once descendants, and so can think and communicate much the same as any descendant could. What makes them different is that their memories of any past life they had are fuzzy at best, and their unfortunate reality of being pulled back from the soulstream causes them to go mad. This will cause them to lose any sort of feat they acquired in their lifetime. They lack humanity and empathy, but may still possess honor or chivalry if they did have it in life. Ghouls are servants to their creators, and will follow any commands given, even if they hate them. 

Ghouls will never be able to be mistaken for descendants, even at a glance. They are first and foremost corpses, and will be visibly rotting or skeletal to any who see them. They permanently smell of rot and decay. 

WEAKNESSES

Like any sort of undead, they are sensitive to aurum, and can be killed instantly with a blow to the head. Any strong blunt hit to the skull will cause them to fall to pieces and die. Ghouls are easily flammable, and will die if not extinguished within 5 emotes. Ghouls cannot wield high density boomsteel or carbarum, due to its weight. 

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look? 

Rhys as a ghoul will be akin to a malnourished fresh corpse, overflowing with moss and fungus. A few ribs will poke out from beneath his tattered rancher's attire and the smell of decay follows him everywhere. Most notably, he can be recognized by the gemstone golem eyes that stayed stuck within the corpse upon his death. They are now compacted with rotting flowers and plant matter.

Personally I don't really care which race is the tallest, etc, but I want at least ONE of these subraces to be short kings. It's funny. It needs to happen
