Benjamin was born to Lukas, a guardsman in the Sutican guardforce, and Alyss, a housewife, and his great grandfather fought in the War of Two Emperors. One day, his parents had to leave the city momentarily- they told Benjamin no reason, although he presumes it to be a trip to the countryside. He awaited their return as he took care of himself in his shack- but there would be no return. A group of 5 dark elfs , who had frequently been marauding the countryside had gotten to his parents. This event would be detrimental to Benjamin, leaving him in pain and sorrow. He continuned to prowl the city, barely making change to pay his taxes and purchase his bread. Eventually, he began work in a Sutican tavern, and recieved meagre- but steady- wages. A terrible incident happened at the tavern when a Goblin ran into the tavern and started smashing bottles and turning tables. Many people were panicking because the Goblin was proving to be quite the challenge- he was able to use his smaller size to his advantage, dodging and weaving between blows. So Benjamen attempted to take down the Goblin but in the process he was horribly wounded- the Goblin was able to force a blade into his torso. Although the physical wounds may have healed, the mental scars remained.

Grown up in the streets, he was taught to fight and hide from other races, because he was scarred by them because they killed his birth mother and father and orphaned him for months leaving him in pain and sorrow. Until a mysterious man discovered him scavenging for scraps of food, and he took him and raised him over 16 years went by and Benjamen was getting food when he returned the man that raised him was dead he was 20 at the time and not much time has passed and the pain still has not gone away. When he turned 21 he opened up a tavern for humans and for a few years he was running it very well no unusual activities or run-ins when he was 27 years old, a terrible incident happened at the tavern a Monster ran into the tavern and started smashing bottles and turning tables and everyone was panicking the monster was very aggressive so Benjamen attempted to take down this monster but in the process he was horribly wounded. 10 months go by and the wound he has still has no healed his tavern is torn up and run down his hatred for this monster and any other races has increased tenfold. a year goes by and his tavern still has not reopened after this incident his life was terrible he had no motivation to even get up in the morning let alone run an entire tavern, but one day he was walking down the path and he say a girl who was just plain beautiful and all around a perfect girl, he fell in love at first sight and ran to talk to her. A year after the event these two are together and have a strong bond and Benjamen at this point is 30 years old and has finally decided to reopen his tavern and start over with the love of his life. 5 years go by smoothly with no encounters with other races YES! he is finally back and better than ever and on the anniversary of Benjamen and Roses relationship has come and Benjamen was deciding to marry her, he knelled and took out the ring at the very moment before she could say yes something broke it was a glass bottle who broke it well it was a monster hungry for blood he charged the woman and the man watched as she was impaled through the chest by the monsters large hand the man got a sword and drove it away but sadly Rose wouldn't make it. he cried while holding her in his arms and she passed away taking the mans spirit with her. people would say he died that night too not his body or losing his life but his soul and will. The man decided to move on Start Fresh at a new place. He arrived and a fancy looking man stood at the dock greeting him. Thats where our story starts
