Born from his mother Elma Silvervein and his father Rain Crumblestone, he ended up taking his mothers Clan name after the disappearance of his father the last of the Crumblestone family. As a young beardling he was found to be a natural born digger like his father and is rarely seen without his pick. But unlike his family, and more following in his Grandfathers, Edal Silvervein’s, footsteps he has developed a eye for design and often times will turn the tunnels he has dug up into great halls, chambers, and staircases. Born after the passing of his grandfather Edal, and the disappearance of his father when he was but a young teenage year old beardling, he has never really had a father figure and spent most of his life fending for himself. Bob Silvervein is currently 69 years of age, and is as far as he knows the only child of Elma Silvervein. Due to his isolation and his natural inclination to think the worst from everyone Bob never really had any friends, doesn’t trust anyone, and so far no trysts. He is very well educated in what he has studied, as he spent almost all of his free time outside digging reading books on artistic design, engineering, and sciences.

Bob Crumblestone named after his father and his great grandfather, ancestors after that. Born to a mother Maria Crumblestone and a father Rain Crumblestone, (who have since moved on) he is the only child of the Crumblestone family. His family are not what you would call bright but they are by no means stupid where mainly absent during most of the major events of dwarven history, so deep in the mines they barley noticed as history and battles where waged. Bob actually doesn’t know what happened to his family, they went digging and never came back, he didn’t think much of it since his father would often times go digging and not come back for months, and his mother was little different, he honestly hasn’t really though over the fact much and probably won’t even realize what has happened even if someone brought the fact up to him. As a young beardling he was found to be a natural born digger and is rarely seen without his pick. Unlike his family though he has developed a eye for design and often times will turn the tunnels he has dug up into great halls, chambers, and staircases. Like most dwarfs he enjoys a good meal and drink but will often times forget about his own personal health and go for a day or two without eating until his growling stomach distracts him enough to snap out of what he was doing and eat.
