  1. Silas sits upon his favorite tree outside Esbec, viewing the pinkened sunset with a lax posture. He sets his lute aside; No song today,  there are far more pressing issues upon his mind. He reaches in his robe and produces a slip of parchment; A poster featuring the visage of New Reza...wrought with flame and destruction. His gaze shifts from the parchment to the nearby city, in attempts to see for himself--Nothing but a sickeningly black plume of smoke...Silas looks below, upon Esbec. The people he loves so dearly...their homes...the town they created in unison. A culture threatened by extinction that only seems to creep closer by the day. Now, it was at their doorstep. He takes a deep breath, azure eyes narrowing upon the dying rays of sunlight. He stands, unshouldering his bow and taking aim with a barbed slayersteel arrow. He directs his last mark upon these lands to a barren tree, taking another deep breath in and out. Avalor. Absolon. Decay. Zirath. Eliza. Salacia....Mellen. A tear cascades down his cheek, glinting in the sun's last as he looses his arrow, finding it's mark with an echo. "Goodbye, Arcas..."

  2. I entirely agree that conflict in this server is essential. Specifically for the struggle as to which side is truly in the right. It enables an entirely new aspect to rp that is otherwise chalked up to one's affiliations and social stature. It brings the action to their doorstep and gives a constant sense of tension.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Sprites are small creatures hailing from the Eternal Forest. They roam there naturally as flora echoes, but leak through into the mortal realm through a coincidental process that often leaves them confused. Upon a full moon, they may stumble upon a fae ring, in which they are ripped from their bodies and transported to the mortal realm. Here, they attract a vessel for themselves made of insects and plants, most there forth thinking they were cast from the eternal forest by the aspects themselves, as a means of punishment.

Sprites are extremely susceptible to blight especially, withering within 1 irl hour after exposure. This condition gradually worse until 3 irl hours, where they eventually die. This death, however, isn't true death. Sprites are reincarnated eventually, keeping most of their memories, short of those surrounding or close to the time of their death.

There are 3 main types of sprites.
Dayward: Dayward sprites are generally the least mischievous, and most believe they should earn their redemption to Cerridwen via good tasks. Some of these include midwifing for pregnant animals or helping lost creatures.
Twilight: Twilight sprites are somewhere in between the other two types, though remain quite volatile. They believe in redemption to Cernunnos himself, through valorous tasks such as dueling other sprites and descendants or assisting hunts.
Nightfall: Nightfall sprites are the most mischievous of the bunch, believing in earning redemption to Nemiisae. This being said, they believe that death to creatures and beings will please her most effectively.

Each of these types of sprites produces their own alchemical reagents only once an IRL week. These take the form of blood, tears, or breath depending on the variation of sprite, but ultimately cannot be taken unwillingly. This leads many sprites to strike a bargain with descendants for mutual benefit. This being said, they have limited form of communication and cannot fully speak any language.

For communication, sprites use communion to speak with fae creatures, plants, and druids. This being said, they don't possess the same influencing abilities as druids do, such as asking plants or animals to do tasks. Unlike other methods of communion, sprites have a feature called communion voicing. This voicing is enacted through contact, and allows a sprite to speak directly to an individual through short phrases and/or images/feelings. Communication of this nature requires one emote of making contact, then the sprite may begin transferring thoughts through following emotes. Any mundane, non druidic descendant will not be able to commune back, only listen. This communication is rather tiring however, and gives the descendant a headache after 5 emotes.

Sprites do have wings, but cannot fly over 5 blocks high before gravity overtakes them and they plummet, exhausted. This ability of flight cannot be used in combat, but during events, may be treated differently. This is entirely up to the ET staff.

Sprites do have a slight deterrent in the form of a dizzying, disorienting toxin. This toxin is emitted from their skin, and in turn absorbed through the skin of the descendant/creature. This toxin can be released after 1 emote of visibly tensing, then emoting again to release it. This toxin would work only to dizzy and disorient the enemy, and cannot be collected.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Vex is a small Twilight Sprite. He is 8 inches tall, with a lean but strong build for his kind. He is adorned with a Cherry for a faceless helmet, with the stem still protruding from it. He has green leaves upon him in a shape reminiscent of armor. He can often be seen carrying some type of makeshift spear/hunting weapon, though these are less than threatening in size. His shoes are made of holly leaves and come to a sharp upward bent point at the toe. Underneath all of this, he has brown hair and reddish mahogany colored eyes. His wings are that of a wasp's, kept close upon his back when not in flight.

Do you understand that if this creature's lore is undergoing an activity trial and that trial fails, you will no longer be able to play this creature and will be forced to either revert the character back to its normal form (if it was a transformative type) or stop playing the character entirely (if it is an entirely new creature)?:

             Yes

Memey RP or using this CA for subpar villain/bandit RP can lead to your app being denied, even after acceptance. Please put "I understand" as your response once you have read this part and understand the consequences.
