  1. "May GOD guide her onto a righteous path." Vivienne Anastasie simply commented, hoisting herself to a standing position as she finished her daily prayers.
  2. "Ave Orenia." Vivienne Anastasie whispered to herself, a certain gingery haired adolescent to the left of her with a paintbrush in her grasps smiling eagerly. @gohliad
  3. A S T E R C A L I A U P D A T E PENNED 16TH OF TOBIAS’ BOUNTY IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 1868 Destructive times of turmoil and strife do we find our staunch Kingdom in these disturbing months, the pretend imperialists spewing more nonsense for that of their mindless people to follow. The safety of my beloved courtiers is what I cherish the most of all, and I am in every sense of service to all of such. Never would I put any member at risk or let any extravagant event to transpire when our courtiers are unnerved and petrified - innocent and unaware of what they think may materialise next. It is with robust and renowned regret that I announce the Astercalia festivities shall cease as of now, allowing time for our members of court to recuperate and put their blameless minds at rest. All remaining expenses already sought for by any hosters shall be discussed and returned in full, the Crown thoughtful in times of this simply horrific war. Once it is ceased, Astercalia shall reform into a superior form strongly led by the Aster Council and its stalwart offices. I extend unfeigned apologies to all bachelors and debutantes affected by this required announcement, and shall be open to receiving letters voicing anyone’s grievances if such transpires. We will come back compelling and cogent - a new Astercalia in the works which shall suffice for the disaster of previous. SIGNED, HER ROYAL MAJESTY, Vivienne of Savoy, Queen consort of Oren, forever August, Queen consort of Renatus, Curon, Kaedrin, Salvus, and Seventis, Grand Duchess consort of Ves, Duchess consort of Helena, Novellen, Furnestock, Petra, Oltremont, South Arentania, and Lorraine, Baroness consort of Renzfeld, Protector of the Heartlanders and Farfolk, etcetera.
  4. THE ROYAL WEDDING Of 1868 HH Princess Vivienne of Savoy (L) and HIH The King Frederick (R) To the citizens of THE KINGDOM OF OREN, and all of the Kingdom’s allies heretofore, Amidst the ongoing strife in our world, a great fissure in the realm of GOD-loving man, we still find much importance in retaining our culture and adherence to the teachings of GOD. It is in his holy name that the House of NOVELLEN does cordially extend an invitation to the long awaited union of the Illustrious and Benevolent: Royal Highness The King Frederick Highness Princess Vivienne Anastasie of Savoy. The conclusion of the war by the half-men abroad has not, and will not, deter the denizens of Man from the merriment that such a joyous occasion brings. Let us drink and celebrate in light of a union blessed by GOD, for in the times of disarray we so vehemently experience as of present, it is our humanity we must retain. Immediately following the ceremony within the Cathedral of New Providence, a tourney and festival of a grandiose nature will be held. 5. A F L E A I N T H E M I D S T PENNED 10TH OF GODFREY’S TRIUMPH IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 1868 Eleanor Lucienne Pruvia is no ardent Pruvia, for her true colours have shone like that of the sun on a temperate summer's day. She is a treasonous flea who did not only betray once, but twice to both sides of her deluded fantasy. She is wanted for questioning and detention for attempting - but merely failing rather miserably - to disturb our beloved Kingdom. She openly began criticising the government of Oren, in which her repellent comments caught the attention of the Alstions. They wrote to her - as she confessed - to ask for her support in a coup against Oren in an already time of turmoil and strife. How inconsiderate as a member of the esteemed Pruvia family for her to switch upon her own blood and attempt to cause them harm in the process. All in the time frame of being a Peer of the Empire did Eleanor Pruvia attend a meeting with the leaders of Haense during unpalatable times of conflict. What is very much the most amusing part of this affair is that she swore allegiance to Peter IV the pretender, despite her giddy friendship and previous adamant interest in couping with the Alstions. Eleanor Lucienne Pruvia is a disgrace to her bloodline, and if she is spotted within our Kingdom she will be swiftly dealt with. One less Flea in the Midst. SIGNED, HER MAJESTY, Vivienne of Savoy, Queen consort of Oren, forever August, Queen consort of Renatus, Curon, Kaedrin, Salvus, and Seventis, Grand Duchess consort of Ves, Duchess consort of Helena, Novellen, Furnestock, Petra, Oltremont, South Arentania, and Lorraine, Baroness consort of Renzfeld, Protector of the Heartlanders and Farfolk, etcetera.
  6. Vivienne Anastasie scans over the missive, pressing eyes halting as it read 'Eleanor Lucienne Pruvia'. A stiffled laugh escaped from the Queen's countenance. "My eyes must decieve me so, I saw with my own Eleanor Pruvia in the flesh rallying at Mardon whilst men passionately screamed about the rightful King. Fickle is the mind of this one, I must say. Betraying her own not once, but twice. May she rot in her manor and next time be careful about whom she shares her secrets with."
  7. Adeline Lorena Helvets-Rochefort scarcely gazed up from hell, a smirk adorning her features at her neice.
  8. MONTH OF GODFREY'S TRIUMPH The ‘Feast of the Winter Star’ is an effervescent occasion, hosted when the weather is at its most supercilious. The aim of this festival is to promote the act of hospitality and affection towards our beloved peers in a time of numbing humidity. All are to gather in the County of Mardon where the festivities will transpire. If you are planning on participation in the act of gift swapping, this will only be available by means of a sign up sheet! The Grand Feast The feast will be decked with an array of dazzling festive based dishes handed out to all on silver platters at the hands of the staunch workers of the palace. Indulge yourself in the utterly delectable three course spread. Commencing with a selection of different dishes racing from starter, main and dessert. The servants of castle Garmont have to offer many contrasting foods, such as vegetable broth with pearl barley and rustic bread, roasted duck accompanied by jellies and custard stained with sandalwood and all different kinds of palatable flavouring and finishing with a fig, almond & honey tart - specially baked by the Princess Vivienne for the occasion. Act of Gift Giving A mere month before the festivities commence, HH Princess Vivienne Anastasie will personally write to all peers and citizens who have decided to sign up for said circumstances. Within the contents of the letter, each citizen will be given a name - picked at random - in which they will be entrusted with the task of preparing and or commissioning a gift for the individual they are paired with. They are NOT to gossip about who they have been given for the gift giving, as it breaks the purpose of trust and hospitality the feast is aiming for. After the feast has come to a finish, everyone at the table will exchange their presents. 9. Vivienne Anastasie sat perched upon the desk that sat in the corner of her office in Providence, pen attached to the innings of her fingers as the woman was hours deep into a pile of work. "Your Higness! This arrived for you." A staunch servant of hers bellowed from the other side of the door, extended hand knocking unto it. With a deep sigh formulating from the depths of the slate orbed woman, Vivienne snatched it from the servant and waved him away with utmost annoyance. Carolina Luisa de Savoie is dead. That one sentence plagued Vivienne's mind in a rather vigorous sense of harrowing distress as she scanned over the missive, throwing it behind her in an expression of sorrow. A warm, wet substance began to form between the corners of her now closed eyes, the flow only growing more substantial as seconds flew by. The sibling of Carolina's cranium rested upon the desk, hands following in suit as the Princess remained in such for hours to follow.

  11. L A N D I N G L A N T E R N S [ 着陸灯籠 ] After prolonged and tedious months of journeying upon a single ship, the staunch people of Oshima have made vigorous haste - landing near the Kingdom of Haense and being welcomed by their rather hospitable subjects. As they wait impassively for their own land to call home, the Oshiman seem to make do with the vessel their people landed within. To pass the everlasting time, it is seen fit to hold a celebration of sorts to commemorate the devoted and unswerving spirits of the Oshima individuals. T I M E T A B L E Feast of Humble Spirits With the disembarkation of the ship after months of travelling upon harsh seas and climates, the feeling of land has become a strange comfort. The taste of normal food is a luxury the Oyashiman followers long for, and such is at their grasps as land is present in front of them. This effervescent occasion will begin with a collection of different delectable dishes for those to dine upon, popular ones including yakiniku - barbecued bite sized meats in an array of different Oyashiman seasonings and flavours and nimono - a heavenly simmered dish containing shiru stock and seasoned with sake and soy sauce. All seasonings being stored upon the vessel for such a juncture! Landing Lanterns An array of lanterns - all intricately crafted and stitched by the unfaltering hands of women Oshimans - will be handed out to all in attendance. All are encouraged to write a pragmatic or positive message to their future self upon the surface of the lantern, an encouraging symbol of growth and healing. As we approach a full moon, it is considered a time to meditate, reflect and observe our actions and how we act upon them as a collective. At sundown, everyone’s lantern will be lit and plopped into the water in a methodical manner, floating outwards towards the sea and far away from the shoreline. Each Oshima inhabitant silently observes the ordeal, wishing that somehow their wishes will transpire and become tangible!
  12. C L A N H A N A M U R A [ 花村一族 ] “Let thy step be slow and steady, that thou stumble not.” Overview 概要 Clan Hanamura is a family with 6 staunch siblings, all of which reside within the settlement of Oshima. Hanamuran blood has run through Oyashiman cities and towns for centuries, maintaining their reputation for their talents in entertainment as well as religion and culture. The Hanamura women are most known for their involvement, and ownership of Meiji Shrine and production of artisan products and goods around the citizens of Oshima. Values 価値 Clan Hanamura are under a cosmic influence that values tied into who they are as a member of the Oyashiman culture is a rather cosmic part of their mission and role within the clan as a whole. Though having all good-natured values is a colossal asset to them. The siblings of Hanamura are engrossed within the values of formality, believing it to be what creates the atmosphere of harmony within Oshiman lands. When a sibling is conversing with another human, they tend to keep in mind the social hierarchy of the other. The rather basic hierarchy as such is mentioned transpires as: parents are above children, teachers above students and elders over younger ones. They will simply adjust their language accordingly. Bowing is perhaps one of the most courteous gestures within this clan, A short bow at about 15° is appropriate for a casual greeting. A 30° bow is used for greeting strangers and bosses, and a 45° angle conveys deep respect, or an apology. The belief that peaceful unity and conformity within a clan in which members prefer the continuation of a harmonious community over their personal interests. Siblings of the Hanamura clan often use their selfless tendencies to ensure that harmony is being kept within their own being and the community of Oshima as a whole. It is not out of the ordinary that the clan as a whole are determined individuals within everything they do, whether that be labour or mindset. Clan Hanamura take pride in their various artisan productions and religious values. If one is not pulling their weight, it is considered disrespectful towards the members of the family and they would be punished accordingly with more labour or tedious duty. Traditions 伝統 In the case of a marriage, Hanamurans follow ‘Shinto.’ A Shinto wedding ceremony is typically a small affair, limited to family, while a reception is open to a larger group of friends. Shinzen kekkon is a Shinto purification ritual that incorporates the exchange of sake between the couple before they are married. The ceremony typically takes 20 to 30 minutes. Food items, including salt, water, rice, sake, fruit, and vegetables, are left at a ceremonial wedding altar, which also holds the wedding rings. A priest stands to the right of the altar, while a shrine maiden, Miko, stands to the left. The couple will often stand in the centre of the room, while closest family members stand behind tables containing sake and small fruits. The priest will purify the shrine and call the attention of benevolent spirits, or kami. Then, the priest announces the beginning of the ceremony, reflecting three oaths taken three times, represented by three cups, poured three times, and swallowed in three sips. This often includes three pourings from three cups of increasing sizes. The first, smallest cup, is first poured to the groom, who drinks from it before offering it to the bride. The second pouring goes first to the bride, then to the groom. The final pouring goes from the groom first, then the bride (essentially repeating the first pour). The sake aspect of the ceremony is said to be the core of a Shinto wedding. Shinto brides and grooms typically wear kimonos. The bride will wear a number of layers of kimono, the outermost layer being the most formal. A bride will either wear a colourful uchikake over-kimono, or a pure-white shiromuku over-kimono. The Hanamura Clan take a different approach when mourning a loved one at a funeral. Flowers play a vigorous role in this as they provide comfort and express respect, but also symbolise mortality. The type of flower that you decide to bring to the funeral speaks a huge deal about your personality as a whole. The most popular types within Oshima are as follows: Hydrangea - symbolises gratitude, grace and beauty. The colours of a hydrangea represent love, harmony and peace, making it a fitting flower for a funeral. Lisianthus - this flower represents appreciation, gratitude and charisma. With this beauty, it is a formal way of saying ‘thank you’ to the deceased and all their hard work. Calla - represents purity, sympathy and beauty. The shape of the flower, with its stylised ornate calyxes, lends itself well to a funeral arrangement. Alongside flowers, many Hanamurans also bring along items that bestow fortune, such as money or ceremonial clothing. This is to ensure that their path to the afterlife does not prove challenging, and that the deceased is finally at peace. All flowers mentioned above are available at request from the Hanamura siblings. History 歴史 Hanamuran blood has ran through Oyashiman cities and towns for centuries, maintaining their reputation for their talents in entertainment as well as religion and culture, their lineage starting with a well-off kimono making man who had met a young and beautiful yujyo, paying off all her debt in order to buy her and her family freedom. Throughout history they have been known for their consistency when it comes to career paths, many and almost all of this family’s daughters have grown up to become maikos and then geishas working at the shrine. This then led down the line to what you know as the modern Hanamura Clan. Family Craft ファミリークラフト The Hanamura women are most known for their involvement, and ownership of Meiji Shrine. The four sisters are often seen heading up there and dressed appropriately, sporting the adored maiko-geisha makeup style. They will spend hours at a time at the shrine practising playing instruments, singing and dancing as a form of entertainment for not only themselves, but any guests who wish to attend. Furthermore, the clan as a whole manage the business of ‘Hanamura Market’, in which they are tasked with the manufacturing of sweet treats and snacks for the citizens of Oshima. Food is seen as the cornerstone of the Oyashiman culture and known for its earth-oriented cuisine and balanced nutritional value, serves as a great pride of the Oshiman people. For example, within the spring months, the Oyashiman flavour profile consists of bitter flavours that give a unique bite to their food and opens the palate of the eater so that the more earthy-notes can be appreciated and savoured from the bitterness of the core ingredients meal. They are also involved within the arts of artisan production and painting, finding comfort within such. Appearance/Fashion ファッション The women of Clan Hanamura are renowned for their fresh, pale-faced beauties. They are specifically described to have a rich dark brown hair colour, rather than the common jet black of their settlement in Oshima. The first four sisters of Hanamura are often spotted wearing spring colours decorated with florals, spring colours being; peach orange, light pink, soft blue, yellow and lilac. This is to highlight the clan's importance of nature and the different seasons, their names all associated with the season of spring and florals. Moreover, this is transpired through their usually bright coloured kimonos and the sister’s rather large quantity of flowers that rest within hazel hair. The men, on the other hand, seem to don rather serious and toned faces. Their clothing is usually of a lighter shade and minimal, highlighting their modest and vigorous values. Hair contrasts with the women of the clan, men usually having it tied up in a bun or ponytail. Family Members 家族 Hanamura Haruki ‘The Sōzokujin’ - Haruki: the heir, and twin brother of Momoko is said to be very quiet, much unlikely for an eldest son. He is also said to be away from town a lot of the time, claiming that he has much more important things to be doing than loitering and waiting for something to happen. Hanamura Momoko ‘The Bijin’ - Momo is described to be the serious eldest sister of her family, characterised to be determined and persistent. She is the one who brings in most of the income, working two jobs; young stewardess and shrine maiden. Away from work she is known for her soft demeanour and motherly behavioural pattern towards her younger siblings. Hanamura Natsuyoshi ‘The Sohei’- Natsuyoshi appears to be an unostentatious monk, though most renowned for his rather strange, yet enormous storage of knowledge. He spends most of his time being useful, helping within the family - though mostly within the shrine. Hanamura Chiharu ‘The Omikuji’ - Chiharu is renowned for her rather captivating gift in which she is able to tell the fortune or misfortunes of another human, guiding them through any trouble or strife they may find themselves in. This is paired with her twin brother Natsuyoshi, many citizens throughout the whole of Oshima seeking their gift for a small sum of pay. Hanamura Tsu ‘The Swan Geisha’- Delicate as is a swan, Tsu - despite still in her childhood years - has proved to be quite the budding Maiko. With a polite albeit quiet voice and a matching timid demeanour, she was born to be the very swan that appears when she dances.` Hanamura Izumi ‘The Blade Dancer’- As the youngest daughter of Hanamura, Izumi has always been a spirited child - delicate as a flower. Her whimsical spirit is sure to bring a gleam to any eye that falls upon her, but her surplus energy often elicits the exact opposite effect in her family members. This junior member of the Hanamura Clan never allows herself to be seen without a vibrant grin decorating her face.

O R E N I A N C A L E N D A R 1859 - 1860 MONTH OF HARREN’S FOLLEY An Adventurous Matrimony Many say Love is like an adventure, Nothing seems unreachable, the mountains are as high as the sky could see and the roads are endless, and the Blue Marine Oceans seem to Never have a final Destination. 15. A Wilted Rose (first bit definitely did not take this from my other post) Adeline Lorena Helvets-Rochefort sat perched atop her bureau, the rather vigorous wafting of excessive scotch and cigars emitting from the Helveti’s countenance as scattered orbs solemnly locked with scintillating white lines. Said lines seemed to copy Adeline’s actions, staring back with such a purposeful aura as if it’s prose sought to dive within the very depths of the Rochefort’s soul. Her visage sinked a little lower, deep rooted agony jolting her body as it shuttered and froze- crushing the Princess with a newfound pain, another abandonment. As the years ticked by, the aged woman let her eyes finally become accustomed to the dull gloom, as though its only tether to her was its familiarity. Within this catacomb the Rochefort manifested the burning sensation that had long plagued her mind, the rediscovery forged within the mourning of her husband and wrongdoings of her existence. The enfeebled woman clung to the tenements of hope as though the straw upon a rampart, some lingering hope a residue of a bygone time, where dreams might have inspired joy. Within this state of actualized revival did she spin a new being, a betterness she thought entirely unbefitting, but deeply desired. Though that spindle proved a sullen string, and that dream faded as swiftly as it had arrived, lost within the emaciated soul lingering within the lamenting woman. It was and always had been uncertainty that provided the most wistful comfort. An extended hand hesitantly began to reach for the spoon upon the tabletop, assuming position in the grasps of the Rochefort’s wearied fingers. The pinnacles of her brows began to furrow, developing an unyielding line across the top of her forehead as Adeline began to erratically tilt her head unto the bureau. Within only seconds her did fatal flaw transpire, ultimately demolishing everything built up over a lifetime in its abhorrent path. The fragility of life came forth towards her in these very moments, unravelling all its eerie knowledge onto the Rochefort. Her eyes began to blur then, materialising into an array of unfocused hues that only seemed to grow more and more profound as every aching second passed. A shattering noise consumed every inch of the darkened room, spoon descending rapidly towards the floor beneath her. The way it shattered rang a distorted clinking sound into both of her ears, unsteady and rapid breaths emitting from within the very depths of her soul. Though the rapid breathes began to cease, becoming slower and slower like the broken ticking of a clock. Silence. “In the silence I leave this human form at rest for my return and become a work of art in a gallery, one that is the colours of my soul.” Adeline Lorena Helvets-Rochefort was no more. A woman who, if she had put her mind to it within her youth, could have achieved great things in her lifetime. Though it all seemed to be thrown away based on a whim of destructiveness that plagued her tainted mind. No child of hers would call her name out amidst their own tragedy or strife. No prayers dedicated to her reputable ambience. No one to wail out her name in godforsaken anguish. Reduced to nothingness; ash.
  16. Vivienne Anastasie lofts a brow as she scans over said missive, offering up a conflicted view within her mind against the disowning of one of her dearest sisters.
  17. O R E N I A N C A L E N D A R 1857 - 1858 MONTH OF HARREN’S FOLLY Picnic of Peace Given the current circumstances of the Empire, Richard Leopold d’Azor sees it fit for all subjects of New Providence to have a day off with their bottomless thoughts of disconcertment and all come together as one with celebrations of optimism and what they are grateful for. All are asked to leave their negative ways at home as they attend this occasion. This juncture will be decked with an array of dazzling light dishes all handed out by the indefatigable servants of Providence on grand silver platters. Indulge yourself in the utterly delectable dishes such as roasted duck - in finger food form - accompanied by jellies and custard stained with sandalwood and all different kinds of palatable flavouring. Certain liquid refreshments will also be on offer. No expenses will be spared for this celebration! Monday 31st January, 6PM EST MONTH OF HOREN’S CALLING Grand Tourney of Furnestock A showcase of strength, among all else, is deemed fit and necessary amidst the festivities and ceremonies of Astercalia. The finest imperial soldiers, swordsmen, and knights from each family’s household are to join in a variety of matches against one another to inevitably reveal the champion of the eve, who shall be declared as the Champion of Furnestock. 19. The Confessions of a Sinner Adeline as a teenager in Providence, c. 1803 SONDER: The realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited madness. A story that continues invisibly around you like an ant hill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, within which you might only once appear. Adeline Lorena-Helvets Rochefort sat perched atop her bureau, the rather vigorous wafting of scotch and cigars emitting from the Helveti’s countenance as scattered orbs solemnly locked with a frayed journal. Said journal seemed to copy Adeline’s actions, staring back with such a purposeful aura as if it’s prose sought to dive within the very depths of the Rochefort’s soul. Within this catacomb the Rochefort manifested the burning sensation that had long plagued her mind, the rediscovery forged within the mourning of her husband and various wrongdoings of her existence. An extended hand hesitantly began to reach for the journal upon the tabletop, assuming position in the grasps of the Rochefort’s wearied fingers. The pinnacles of her brows began to furrow, developing an unyielding line across the top of her forehead as Adeline began to erratically flip through the pages of the parchment. The journal detailed a certain array of encounters between Lady Selvia de Orsella - former governess of the Savoy palace and Princess Adeline Lorena Helvets-Rochefort herself. This sin had to be the most profound of all - the act of adultery and lying with another woman. Many different rendezvous happened to be written within the pages of the journal - whether they be negative or positive. To my dearest journal, I had taken a certain ‘liking’ to this Selvia woman, one I was rather uncertain of. It all commenced when Selvia de Orsella had been promoted to governess of the palace - a position in which I was working rather closely with Lady Orsella. “I am so very much overjoyed to hear about your recent promotion to governess of the palace.” The Princess of Savoy began to conversate with said woman, corners of her mouth upturning to form a widened smile upon Adeline’s features. “You’re too kind.” A chuckle escaped from within Selvia at that, orbs peering up at the Rochefort. “I am looking forward to being able to work most closely with you the most. You are a compassionate kind of company to have.” “You flatter me Selvia.” The Helveti began to giggle in a rather nervous manner, soft tone lowering as an outstretched arm moved to offer the de Orsella a lone cigarette. “I am sure we will be working more closely as of recently, due to your new position in the palace and such…” We conscripted many social events together and spent hours in my office which was located within the Savoy palace, happening to be directly below my husband's own bed chambers. Within my limited virtuous morals, it was never in my intentions to engage in certain activities with the governess. Alas, this certainly was not the case as the days grew tedious and weary. Selvia de Orsella gently placed a hand upon the top of Adeline’s forearm, eyes peering up at the Princess. “I am not fond of the idea of marriage. I am not rushing at all, in fact I would love to keep my last name as long as time allows me.” “Is that so?” A sarcastic chuckle escaped from within the Rochefort, matching Selvia’s expression then. The potent waft of alcoholic beverages and sheer cigar smoke emitted from the Helveti. “To me it seems as if you are rushing.” “I oppose the idea of marriage… With a man that is.” A nervous nod effused from the Lady, her gaze kept rather firmly. “I have been rushed by my mother in the past, though I would certainly like to remain a spinster for as long as possible.” “I am not complaining…” I had known my actions were dishonourable from the start, that I should have sent the de Orsella far away from the lands of Savoy and blamed said matter on something harmless. Though it was something strange about the feeling of doing wrong that filled me with a certain ebullience I had not experienced for the most prolonged time, that had made my guilty conscience continue to sin. In many instances, Lady Selvia de Orsella and I engaged in said activities when my husband Olivier was off on business meetings within his many vassals across the principality. Orsella resigned one benumbled morning - her moral compass only being able to guide the Lady so far. The two of us swore upon one another to never inform a soul about our affair - and soon after parted ways for what seemed to be the last time. GOD has watched over every one of my sins during the course of my lifetime, and with every bone in my weakened body do I pray he does not look away as I confess for my wrongdoings and finds it within himself to forgive me. SIGNED, HER HIGHNESS, Adeline Lorena Helvets-Rochefort Once again dearest journal, My hands which happen to hold the key to all my wrongdoings seem to be finding their way once more unto the parchment of this journal more often than I had hoped. The relationships between my beloved children have become rather estranged during recent years. Throughout the progression of my being, I manufactured an array of different errors within the labour of raising children. Much like my own parents nature, it seems as if my being has become one with them, inheriting the heinous, coarse unavailability and apathy of the Rochefort family. I sinned by not carrying out my only duty - raising my children into an affectionate and sheltered environment. Not a single day goes by where my brain does not wander to the possibility of the outcome if I had provided such for all seven of my spawn. A certain incident is engraved within my mind, between two of my sons - Leufroy Renault and Olivier II, Prince of Savoy. I found Leufroy in an aggravated state, curiosity kicking in my veins. “What is the meaning of this?” An eyebrow raised as the Rochefort pivoted upon her heel, eyes peering within Leufory’s own. “My time to rule, mother.” He states, extending an arm to grasp at his helmet. “I must help Edmond.” Leufory exclaims, placing on his helmet and withdrawing his blade. This comment had left me in a vigorous sense of shock, body frozen into one singular spot as I attempted to grasp upon what exactly my son’s intentions were. A rash decision was made as the seconds ticked by, my countenance deciding to follow Leufroy into the room of Lady Chancellor, Vasileia Ekaterini. I should have stopped myself within these moments and alerted someone higher up, though it was the choice between choosing between sons. This proved rather difficult in a situation as such, so I decided to see if I could mediate. “Saying such does not will it to exist, if you want my support I need to know what your plan is. Your vision. I am sure the Prince can also speak for himself.” “Hmph. It seems you are a dead woman.” Within these swift movements, I decided it was within my best interest to leave all three subjects to their own and flea to Providence. I had no interest in being the face of a coup against my own son, nor did I want to be pulling the strings against Leufroy. Unknown to me then, it would be the last time I set foot within the lands of Savoy and certainly the last time the relationship with my sons ran steadily. 20. The youngest de Savoie child revelled in said missive, a gleeful expression planted gracefully upon her countenance at the though of socialisation. A smile exerted from Vivienne then, though wistfully replaced as she continued to practice her ballet in anticipation of the events ahead.
  21. Adeline Lorena Helvets-Rochefort held the missive that carefully entangled between her fingers, a rather attentive expression planted upon her countenance. "I must get one of those pastries for Eugenie. She loves them..." @sunflowerist
  22. "They better put on a good show." A certain Rochefort commented, azure orbs gazing upon said missive with engrossed expression.
  23. I have known Gecko for almost 2 years now and I can honestly say that I did not like him at all when I first met him. He came off as childish, rude and unaware of how his actions affected others. Though as I began to spend more time with him and get to know him and how his brain actually works, I saw more to him than just someone who 'trolls'. Gecko has grown immensely over this last year and has finally matured into a man. The name 'Gecko' is blatantly a persona that he puts on and doesn't define him one bit, and that is the sole reason I do not refer to him as Gecko, rather his actual name (won't do that here for the sake of doxxing lol). Deep down Gecko is someone who has a lot of care for his friends and the community as a whole. He loves building communities and bringing people together and whenever he has a new idea for a settlement/vassal he'll take great care into researching and will sit in a VC talking about it for hours as he is so passionate about said topic to a point where it can sometimes get annoying! He has been there for me countless times when I perhaps did not have a shoulder to turn to and would sit in VC with me for hours as we worked through the problem. He has a very mature way of thinking when you actually sit down and have a conversation with him. I am forever grateful for him and proud to call him one of my closest friends on this little mineman block game. He has made a lot of mistakes, as a lot of people can account for, but with a stable community and the proper people to be around, I truly believe he can outgrow this way that people view him. I am a firm believer in that Gecko deserves another chance on the server.
