As Issif sits down around the fire, one of the strangers he's been travelling with starts reading the missive out loud. As he ends, he hears some of them whisper, while others keep silent, to themselves. "He was no good. No good I tell you", one of the strangers exclaims as he throws the missive in the fire. One of the old men in the group looks at the stranger, and says with a grin : "Always got an opinion to share, huh? And how'd you even get ahold of that missive? Some sort of dirty noble, are ya?" Sensing a fight brewing, Issif gets up, interrupting them. A tense silence takes over. "Just adding a log, lads. We're almost there. Just one more day"

Abandoned by his father and overprotected by his now deceased mother, Issif has developed deep trust issues in others, while longing for love and approval. As a long-time travaller, he has looked his whole life for a place to call home. It seems like every time he has felt he found a place to settle-in, he was either lied to, or pushed to lie in order to get his way. Now passing by the Fahrk Oasis by pure chance, a thought inhabits him : is this the place we was looking for all along?
