Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

    **Revenants**
A Revenant is the spirit of a dead descendant who could not find rest in the after life. This is the base form of a phantom, who is at its weakest. They usually do not believe in their own death and wander as if still alive. At this stage, a revenant is made of ectoplasm (an ethereal and unphysical essence) but cannot control their being, rendering the creature weak and unstable. Like their "evolution", revenants can cast and affect the mood of the living but cannot otherwise interact with the world expect for weak ethereal grasps over items. Their appearance does not have to be the same as their living one, in fact they appear how they think they used to look like.

    **Geistreach curses**
Upon realizing that they are in fact dead, the creature comes to terms with their form. This is done through curses which haunt the living with pure terror. This includes changes in mood, flashbacks, nightmares and much more including the sapping of energy/spiritual essence. This will open the floor for two types of phantoms, poltergeist and specters.

    **Poltergeist**
Considered the more villainous type of phantoms, the poltergeist is one who cannot accept their death. Their whole existance become a burden, and they spread hatred through violent acts. Their being reflects their state of mind, usually being represented with animalesque or otherwise demonic features and crimson colors.

    **Spectre**
A Spectre is a phantom who has accepted their death and moved on with little issue. They are seen as more benevolent (which does not mean they are good creatures) and have an azurine color. Despite more inclined to peace, these spirits remain dead creatures and hence do not live happily. They weep for the life they once had and wish to return to their routine with the people they loved, lacking any sort of mental stability.

    **General weakness**
    - Ghosts are very weak to aurum, which will cause them to scream out from the pain.
    - Voidal magic and its enchantments, shamanism, paladinism and other magics such as mystic can harm the ghost and will likely cause its demanifestation
    - Weaker ghosts may find themselves weak to sunlight and fully avoid it.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

A 6'2 knight who has long lost humanity. Melly apprars in grey colors, the cat on her chestplate coming to life now that she has turned into ectoplasm.

Do you have a magic(s) you are dropping due to this app? If so, link it:

             no

Do you agree to keep Story writers updated on the status of your magic app?:

             yes

Are you aware that if this creature is shelved, your character may be given the option to revert or be indefinitely shelved?

             yes

Memey RP or using this CA for subpar villain/bandit RP can lead to your app being denied, even after acceptance. Please put "I understand" as your response once you have read this part and understand the consequences.

             I understsnd

Have you applied for this creature on this character before, and had it denied? If so, link the app:

             No

  2. The fairsighted Avalon was innocently playing Haeseni chess when the news struck. She skipped a breath, her brows furrowing into a single one; doubt. Why were so many dying? First in Aaun, now in Petra. Was that an omen? Nevertheless, the pious woman signed the Lorraine and spared a prayer for the Crown Princess, then went on to win her game of chess.

I am very confused as to why so many people are voting 'yes' on having notice about being raided. I would love some additional insight and perspectives on the matter-

My current main concern is that it is literally encouraging metagaming. By giving Nations notice, you are encouraging the Nation to meta-rally. It will happen, every single time, without fail. And if they're not meta-rallying, they're all logging off - especially the PRO's who want to avoid getting PK'd etc. I just don't understand why this is such a popular option?

I mean it could always be added as a sort of RP thing. "Your scouts tell you there is enemies nearing!! boo!!"

Either way, I voted yes because for how I see it if a raid is pre-announced only people who actually want to deal with it will stay. That will avoid a lot of arguments and you won't be stuck in rp with a person who just won't cooperate

An odd fog filled the air that day. The oxygen was heavy, and so very difficult to breathe. An elfess sat under the gates of Talar’nor, gasping for air with every other breath she took. Each inhale followed a sorrowful exhale; she wrapped an old shawl around her throat and set off on her travels. An invite was held firmly between her grasp, and she marched on through mountains and rivers, motivated by her fierce heart. Many words echoed through her mind all throughout the travel. What of the friends that could be, what of those that will be?

Unbothered, she marched on. A little sense of excitement had strangely overtaken her usually cold demeanor, filling her travels with joy. She did not know what awaited her at the end of the tunnel.

“I wonder if Io cursed me.”

Did the graceful elfess think, and then she was seen no more.

A new spread of pamphlets is spread out across all human nations, this time, with the addition of Braille at the end of them - allowing for those who are visually impaired to also read the letter.

Kasula the blind of Tennallar could finally read, she hastly forced one of her many family members to pen a letter!

  6. A very random and not special witch stumbled upon the news on the way to the Aaunic capital. She rubbed at the very top of her head, her scalp was itching that day. "Huh? I should go see Leopold. I wonder who will sit on the throne now." she mused in passing, and then moved on.
