You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Example: Lawrence's eyes examined his surroundings one last time before sitting down to accompany the old hag. Before speaking, he'd clear his throat.. "Greetings.. my name is Lawrence..", a slight nod follows as he continues; "I hope I didn't show up at an inappropriate time. I was wandering the land as I came across these shacks and cabins and I was too inquisitive not to take a look." a long pause followed... and then he spoke; "As for who I am, and what my story is.. I'm a young man looking to help my family make ends meet. I was born in a small farming village not far from here. From what I recall from my vague memory, and my father's stories, the village used to thrive and was known for the quality of its produced crops. My dad worked at the local tavern and his efforts helped keep our small family alive and going." a short, unhappy sigh escaped his lips and then he continued..; "However, my father is ageing now and he has a hard time working nowadays. Hence, I've taken it upon myself to help him. I'm out here looking for any job to help my family. I'm ready for anything that could possibly make a difference in our lives. Ready to sacrifice myself if that's what it takes. My love for my family runs deep and nothing will cut it short. I'm determined to try my best and as hard as I can. With God's will, I'm destined for great things... I will someday do great things.". Lawrence proceeded to get up quick. "I appreciate the small chatter but I must get going now. Every day counts and I mustn't waste anymore time. Not yours, not mine." He'd then proceed to rush, going on with his day.
