  1. Guido arrives at the barn to find the note pinned to the doorway. He sits down to read it, and after taking ten minutes to understand it, he sighs: "Well, I guess'a it's time to go. Seems I am cursed to work under men that end up betrayed..." He then stands up, quite out of breath from the feat, grumbling to himself, and enters the barn. "Pack up, Carlo" he says, "We're leaving Napoliza paesan." To this, Carlo responds: "What'a!? But what about Emilio? I want to work more with the cows!" Guido picks up a bundle of wheat, and tells him "Si si, I'm'a sure we will be able to find work at another barn bambino."
  2. Nine year old Carlo Biscotti stares up at the faint sliver of light streaming through the barred window. "I just'a wanted to see some cows and now I am trapped - marrona mia!" he says quietly to himself, fighting back against the tears that threatened to surface, as he notices the other prisoners watching him. 'I must appear strong - for the younger children.' Carlo thinks to himself.
  3. Guido sits in the courtyard of Eulersburg, sharpening his sword after a bout of training. Meanwhile, clangs can be heard as other Turtle Guard members Zlatan and Vanderm practice their weapon skills.
  4. Guido Divecchia and Vanderm Marwill sit in the quiet dawn of the Eulersburg guard tower, overlooking the valley below and listening to the birds sing. They had just force fed a herd of cows for five hours throughout the night, but a fifteen minute break with an Euler Max prepares them for another six hours of cow breeding! Life in Eulersburg could not be better, perhaps for the exception of cattle! Be sure to contact Stefan Euler to acquire an Euler Max for yourself.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Guido says "Well, for that.. I would need some refreshments and a more comfortable chair.." After receiving a flask of wine and small platter of fruits, Guido sinks into a thick cushion and begins telling his story: "I guess it started when I was born, underneath New Vienne. My mother died in childbirth because I was big as a child." Guido gulps down some wine and burps. "My father was.. not the best support after that, so I followed my older brother into living with our grandmother. It wasn't easy at first with not much to eat.." He grabs a piece of watermelon from the platter and takes a few bites, then continues: "but my brother found what he could for us and we made do. I.. took an interest to books and found and liberated some from local libraries that wouldn't miss them." He takes another sip of wine. "Because of this, I learned how to read and was able to find work when I got older. My brother left when I was in my early teens." Guido takes a few more bites of watermelon, finishing his slice. "I've now used most of my built up funding to travel here to Adria, to find and reunite with my brother." He then reaches out for the platter and grabs a few pears, and says: "If you don't mind, could I take these with me?"
