You have just arrived in a swampy, dimly lit town. As you look around, your gaze meets shacks and huts. They smell of rotten wood and wet moss. You ben d down and step into a tattered tent, lit by a string of candles hanging in the air. At the back of the tent an old witch raises her head, "What brings you to this filthy town?" she begins, then pauses to examine her face - "Oh, it's you. I've been waiting for you. Sit down," pointing to a cushion, "tell me your story."
"ahem ahem, the reason I started travelling alone in these lands was that I was always curious about the world outside the farm where I lived with my family and working on the farm for the rest of my life didn't seem like an easy job. So one night when I was 17 years old, I suddenly left the farm. I ran away and travelled far away, sometimes sneaking into people's barns in other towns and spending my nights in the barns, sometimes staying in inns with the money I had, finally I came to this town, I want to make a new life for myself, a house to stay in and a job to do and new friends." After Manton told a part of his life story, he hung the bag he was carrying on his back, made a greeting to the witch and went out of the tent and disappeared into the depths of the forest.
