    1.9 pvp is much easier in my opinion and I do not focus it mainly. I think it gets rid of the whole argument of people who click fast always win, because in 1.9 it is simply not true. It is extremely simple to get into 1.9 with servers such as PVP legacy, PVP land and other servers. It is a single click PVP so those who don't like clicking fast don't have to. The only hard thing about it is movement, which is somewhat easy to learn. IMO i would say just give it a try and see if you like it.
