  1. Marius sighed heavily and wiped his brow of sweat as he placed a heavy trunk upon the horse drawn cart, the hot balian sun beating down in an almost oppressive fashion whilst his son read the missive aloud to him whilst he worked. "You know....I only hope those that stay here can figure things out without us and anyone else who jumps ship. Though, then again....maybe its for the best as my commute just got a hell of a lot shorter!"
  2. Marius sat in his arm chair at home as he read the missive, a partially caved in skull of a ghoul in his other hand. "You hear that? They are asking for more!" He would chuckle to himself before tossing the missive into the fireplace.
  3. Ser Marius Vourkehardt would read the missive with a small grin upon his lips, looking then down to the small blond headed boy whom sat playing with a toy cat at his feet "Its about time, with all the abominations running about nowadays...they need more than a culling at this point" He pat the child's head and ruffled his hair.
  4. Marius Vourkehardt would read the missive "what? Why would this be sent out? Ravenmire agreed to find peace....."

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Marius's eyes widen at the hag, a worried frown on his face. He looks to be a man whom is lost and out of his depth being amongst other people. He swallows hard before speaking, his voice carrying a southern drawl to it. "I-I don't know why you'd be expecting me...but alright ill sit" his grips his walking stick a bit tighter as his sits in a creeky wooden chair across from her. "My name is....Marius. I'm new to...well everything, my folks lived out on the edge of civilization every since I was a boy. I..its been a long time since I've been in any sort of town. Though when my parents passed from starvation a few months back I did'nt have no where else to turn or go. So I thought to come here...this being the nearest town." his hand reaches up and scratches the back of his neck as he looks down at the ground "I don't know much how things work in these parts but I think I can do well... I'm a decent hunter and shot with a bow." he bites the inside of his cheek "Perhaps I can find work as a hunter or ranger round here?" He lets out a small sigh "Ill be frank ma'am... im plum lost and I aint go no idea how to find myself again. Don't real know what ill do but I suppose...ill figure somthin out." His melancholy frown changes into a half hearted smile "Pa would always push me to go an extra mile. We live a hard life son, he would tell me. If you are gonna make it out here or anywhere you must endure, press on and put your shoulder to the wheel." Marius nods thoughtfully. "Guess that is what ill keep doin, keep moving and find my place." Marius stands and gives the hag a dip of his head "Thank you for your time miss" he turns and lifts the tent flap and departs.
