All of the Alras business makes me really sad its like some people are tearing the Dwarf Nation apart when its really the best place ever.

Mana = no way for me. cooldowns are just as good. ABoyNamedSue had a lot of cool ideas there. All we need is an XP system so that it takes a LOT of time to get to the higher spells. some ideas: blast spells, and spells that can be put on objects (an example would be spells that can be put on a sword so it can absorb lightning and throw it back within a short time (i really liked this one)).

OOC aye if ya watch Lord of the Rings or such, you will see where we are coming from as dwarves. Humans are obviously grander and more populous than dwarves, yet lack the physical abilities of the dwarves. Since me and Hiebe are warriors, of course we boast our prowess (Hiebe does, I don't!). NOthing to take personally as I am a klutz of a builder and miner myself.

Hello there are ye people of Aegis! I have been thinking much about our economy and decided that we should make it more realistic by adding Jobs and Occupations. The way these work, you can get a job and make money, but you won't try to do other jobs and such. For example, say you own a tavern. You will work in the tavern, buy meat from the butcher and bread from the baker or farmer, but you won't go out and get the stuff yourself. That's bad for the economy! You stick to your job. If you need something, say diamonds or the like, you go out and buy it from a trader at the market, who in turn probably bought it from a miner or monster hunter. This is all I have developed so far, and these are just ideas, but I look forward to seeing your thoughts on them! (Especially what our great Admin, Availer, thinks!)

The Legion will pledge its support in this... however, I cannot devote too much of our resources to it. -
Ye shall be removed from our ranks, Dark Dwarf. Elf scum... I await the time I get to wipe my blade of your blood.
-
assassin filth... OOC Hiebe I will most likely be making my own skin.

I know we have iConomy, but please tell me we don't have the "shop" feature. It kills roleplay like nothing else can.
-
point-ears... all talk and no brawn. You should not consider yourself a warrior.

Terophon's story (edit of huddwudd5's story)
huddwudd5 replied to huddwudd5's topic in Aegis Roleplay Archive
Sorry, sorry. ADMIN EDIT: Keep down the 1337 speak -
Terophon Terophon was an orphan. He grew up in an orphanage but joined the military young. He proved himself throughout battles, fighting to become the best he could. Soon he was selected to join the elite force The Legion, led by Lord Hiebe. He became a very experienced warrior. Being an orphan, however, left his past shrouded. He has never revealed his face to anyone but Lord Heibe before, and remains with his helmet concealing him to all others. His skills in battle remain unmatched, yet he does not wish to become higher ranked than he already is. So he stays a Captain of The Legion, reporting to Lord Heibe directly. Terophon is unpredictable at times, and ususally remains quiet, rarely speaking to others unless necessary or during battle. He still has scars from a fight with a spider when he was young, and is blind in one eye. Terophon is a good person to make a friend, not an enemy, though he has never showed undue affection for anyone. Some say he is immortal, a battle spirit. But this remains a mystery as he continues to fight for The Legion and the Dwarf Nation.
