  1. How about as the population scales the quality and quantity of Dwarven colonies scale? Hm?

    Then th' dwarves become spread out to two - three different cities and we go back to what happened one or two months ago with multiple cities, and no one inside of Kal'Urguan. We are still trying to get it back to the way it was, and are far from it, but a little better right now.

    There should only be one colony, not even at the start of the new world, but maybe a couple weeks later when it becomes a necessity if the locations of the cities are far from each other or we find a nice mine.

  2. Instead of four colonies, which may be too much and we are going to actually want people inside of the city this time, since we will be able to actually populate it now.

    So I would have one, at the maximum since we shouldn't really need any colonies, unless everyone is really far away, we can have one somewhat closer.

    I do believe that we should invest our time in a nice red stone bell system for guards

I think you may have already heard my idea of a "fake" Capitol outside of the real one, to use as a place for any wandering visitors, while the real one remains hidden to any one except real genuine dwarves, or VERY special non-dwarves. The Orcs are adopting this same concept except their capitol won't be hidden; There will just be a smaller district directly outside the main wall for non-Orcs to use.

    Too bad after three days everyone will know where the capital is, so it is pointless

  4. I don't like the big shroom ideas because they look horrendous, also even though notch limited mushroom growth, we all know they will still spread everywhere and be very annoying.

    Make sure that the new capital includes:

    At least one main wall

    A Keep

    A shop Area

    Minimum Home support

    Wheat/Tree Farm

    Mine

    Anything else, in reality we can improve on later after the map is up. The main thing that you guys that are going to be building the map and should spend most of your time doing, is getting the look of the actual cave right and proper, because without that, will end up having to change more and more of it.

  5. If you have a problem with me doing this you can bring it up with availer. I left the dwarfs due to us fading and now Im bringing us back. If you don;t want my service than fine but GM's are building the capitals. You won't b. ( Directed at sand. ) Any other suggests would be appreciated and no the castle won't be over a lava moat it will be suspended over a cavern. Also yes the hall will be stalagmites covering. ( Or main design point. )

    I never said I wanted to build the capital, All I am saying is that somehow a halfing is leading the dwarves back to being dwarves, what sense does that make?

  6. Hail there, gud' sur. I is be seein' this application when me be wanderin' on the streets of Kal'Urgan. I think I be interested in dis' job because I would very much like the Minas for the hic ale and meat, and all that good stuff. I am a rather gud' builder, and I enjoy seein' my structures comin' alive, so it would be a great pleasure for me to be undertakin' this job.
