Cannons sure, but not portable firearms. I do not enjoy the kind of rp we already get from Crossbows already and Guns wouldn't contribute anything meaningful or interesting. They'll just end up being another item people 'have' pull out real fast and shoot from across the room because it was 'preloaded'. Though your actual writing was really good.

Your lack of any evidence of skill (IE photos etc) and several of your answers are quite vague leads me to deny your app. But thank you for applying and I hope you'll resubmit with a complete application when you can.

World Developer Application Format and Information

The first thing to know is, What the WD team does! Our primary task is the development of maps and large-scale projects. We also help manage the current map’s builds and work with the GM team to remove land scars as needed.

Things to keep in mind if your thinking about applying to the WD Team!

Trust is a must! We work on very long-term ideas and concepts and every project we work on is not public knowledge! As well we have lots of pex that require a great deal of trust as well! Trials will be expected to show they’re trustworthy before becoming full members!

Because of the nature of our work leaks are never tolerated. We work in an ever developing place with lots of changes and leaks of information that isn’t finalized has huge impacts.

It’s a team environment. We may have a Director but all I do is check apps and manage pex. The team as a whole works towards ideas and goals and if you aren’t a team player don't apply.

Only one or two apps may be selected for a trial at a time. WD’s is a small group and we want to ensure that each trial we pick is properly observed.

It’s a long-term team. Each project we work on has months of work behind it and if that's not your kind of thing I would recommend looking into the ET build team (Another excellent place to start building for LOTC!)

Trial periods are not set in stone and will vastly depend on the effort of the trial so if you're not interested in putting forth your best work Don't Apply. We’re a small group looking for people with a lot of skill to join us.

If your thinking this app is really hard that’s because it is. We as a team want skilled individuals and this app is an opportunity for them to highlight and show us their potential. This app shouldn’t be something taken lightly since we’re such a small group looking for a select few folks.

We get to do a lot of very cool things and it’s a real opportunity for folks looking to really step into the next role as a builder.

Being a World Dev is more than just building so what can you bring to the team that unique?

When designing on a scale of a whole world what do you think the most important design decisions are?

When designing small-scale areas, like a village, or a cave singular elements what is your aim in the design? (I.E. function overlook, Player Centric, Looks over everything else etc)

A large part of a WD’s job is creating new ideas for environments, give a brief synopsis of an environmental build/design idea.

How much time are you on average able to contribute towards being a WD?

The world dev team is a diverse group of ideas and opinions meaning disagreements happen show do you handle disagreements or criticism when it comes to your designs?
