The Knights of Horen, an order dedicated to serving Renatus until their last breath. They are Protectors of Cit of Arethor. Their Main duty is to protect the innocent, kill the foe and purge the Heretic.
The Knights of Renatus
Knight Commander - The Current Rank, the one in charge of the Knights of Horen. He may take two squires only. Has the authority to purge current knights, hiring new comers, and promoting current Knights of Horen
Ser Daleian
Knight Sergeant - Four Knights, they are the senior Knights who must have been Knight's first. They will lead a particular Path of the Order. They may take Two Squires although they can take a Third IF the Knight commander feels they are ready and they have proven for it. The "Highest" Knight Sergeant acts as Second in command to the Knight Commander and is often called the Knight Lieutenant.
Ser Aryon, Ser Huron Silverblade.
Knight - A Knight who has proven himself to his brothers, and is allowed to choose his own Banner, and take Squires to his own Banner. He may take up to 1 Squire who is passed by the king or the knight commander. THey are knighted by the king and will be tested.:

Knight Errant - A Knight who is still proving himself to the Knights. He will be tutored by a Knight until he has shown courage in the face of fear and has completed tasks. He and his squire will take the coat of arms of the Knight. Several Knights Errant may serve under a Knight. He is more independent and needs to show is strengths and how he improves the order. The men at this rank are approved by the king as they have power un like a squire.:
Ser Bungo,
Squires - A Squire to a Knight, must prove himself ready to be a Knight, through tests of Nobility that are chosen by the Knight Commander. He/she will take these Tests when the Knight they serve under feels they are ready, and have served enough. They may only take the tests twice, before being cast out of the order. This rank has NO power unless they are under orders of there knight or knight commander.:
Squire Throdo,
Pages - Known to most as the Knight Militia, Pages are beneath squires and train under the Knights in the path of teaching, some may be picked out as Squires and given an "easier" option, but the rest will go through a lot of training sessions and eventually have to go through the final tests, which will be hard but will still allow them to become a Knight if they pass. They serve under all Knights, and may be called on a quest or to war.
Paths - Known as Arms, Sects or Disciplines, these are the Path the Knight takes into bringing greater glory to Oren. The Four Paths are.
The Path of War - Led by N/A - This Path is commonly considered the most honorable and respectful path in the Order. They will be the ones responsible to protect and fight for the Realm of Renatus and Asulon. Knigts abusing their knowledge of the blade by threatening the innocent will face severe consequences. The knights who get great knowledge here will be considered great warriors in the Kingdom. They will prove that by being tested or achieving greatness in a battle to protect the Realm.
The Path of the Anvil - Led by N/A - This Path is for the Knights talented in blacksmithing and crafting. Whether it be the creation of arrows and bows or the smelting of iron. This is most commonly for Knights who wish to expand their knowledge on the art of the blade. They will make weapons and armor for both the Order and for their selves. People who are trained in the "Path Of the Anvil" will be honored with respect and mainly the respect of the entire Order.
The Path of Mercantile - N/A - This path is for the Knights especially good for agriculture. Many here can come to expand their talents of the hoe. They will but are not required to supply their brothers with food. It is frowned upon for a knight keeping his goods to himself. Knights will be rewarded with respect.
The Path of Teaching - Led by N/A - This Path is for the Knights who are especially good at giving on their skills to others. They will teach the Militia and the Squires when the Knight is away on a quest and teach them how to fight and how to act. They will also be responsible for keeping the Orders Libraries up to date, and the battle yards ready. Knights who achieve vast knowledge may or may not become a teacher of the other paths above.

To become part of the Knights of Horen, you must find a knight, knight errant, or the knight commander. If you deem worthy, you will be made a squire under who hires you. You must follow their words. [Currently No Knights] In-order to join, the king or any other high ranking official will grant you as squire.
Coat Of Arms
As a Squire, it is your duty to gain the coat of arms that your Knight wears, if your Knight is a Knight Errant and has the coat of arms of another Knight, then you must take that Knights coat of arms until your Knight is promoted to Knight
As a Knight Errant, you must take the Coat of arms of the Knight who leads the path you are in. Your Squire must take the same coat of arms
As a Knight, you can choose your own Coat of arms and your Squire will take that
As a Knight Sergeant, you will be expected to start a noble family, and have a coat of arms for that family. You are not required to however.
The Knight Commander can wear his coat of arms, or anything he wishes as long as it is appropriate.

The Holy Grail ~ Not Much Is Known About The Grail, But It Is Known To Be In The Kingdom Of Renatus. According to Ancient Texts, only the most worthy may be in its presence. All who are not honorable perish. The power of the artifact is beyond imagination. It is the duty of the knights to find and secure the grail so it Does Not get in the wrong hands.
This is for all knights, squires, and pages to uphold verbatim. These are the laws of the knights and are to be treated as such.
THE CODE OF HONOR
1. To defend the innocent.
This is to include all races, we are defenders of Arethor. It is our duty to protect the citizens of our domain. If need be we will attack but only if we are attacked first or threatened to an astronomical degree.
2. To be respectful in all walks of life.
Whether you are at war or walking about the town. You will be respectful. Petty arguments and insults are above this order. You should not lower yourself to the degree of the common rabble. We are meant to be an example for the people to rise to. We must not degrade ourselves. If an enemy yields, then spare him, unless he or she has committed unforgivable crimes. Be on your guard as some enemies will not uphold their honor code.
3. Serve the crown, serve the country.
The king's word is law, unless made otherwise by some god-forsaken conflict. In which case we will do what the commander deems best for the country itself.
Code for the knights.
The knights will follow the three laws above. However as the higher tier of the order, you have more responsibilities.
1. The squires are to be confirmed by the commander.
This is made simply because I see many squires are undisciplined and not at the level of which a squire should be. I as the knight commander and all future commanders will confirm a knight's squire before naming him one. As of now all squires are dissolved of their title until they pass the tests I will set forth.
I would not do this unless absolutely needed. This is only because many knights seem to simply choose squires so they have squires. This will no longer be tolerated, I am monitoring every corner of this order to ensure we regain our former glory.
2. You are neutral to all heard cases.
If you stumble upon an argument, you will instantly establish order, then you will hear cases from both parties. As a knight of Arethor you are deemed the judges of the city. In order to make a fair judgement however you must provide neutrality. Hear each case and cast judgement as you see fit.
Quest Board
Knights go through glorious and valiant quests! Quests will be posted here by the Knight Commander, you must provide the proof. You will be paid with honor and respect, possibly a great noble reward for your actions to better Renatus.
