Was lame, we weren't able to break any walls down because of perms while staff members all stalled until reinforcements showed up.

Although I have great respect with you Brevias, I would have to disagree on this. You couldn't break down the wall because you wanted to use magic that you weren't approved to use.... Also the use of siege equipment would have turned the raid into a siege. So let's not throw around allegations, ok?

Honestly though both sides are at fault on this, I believe. And quite honestly I think a official server wide war system again would be the best approach. Since a localized one is not effective enough.  

As much ground as your arguments hold, arguments for the exact opposite of what you've said also exist, so why is it the ideas you hold should be put in place? Because other games do it? Personally I think it should be decided by the most important factor of a game: is it fun? And I think that in this case, certain aspects of realism can be sacrificed in order to make the game fun.

And I'n reply to that I would say no. Because although the intial combat is fun. The backlash from people is very saddening at times. People threatening to ban report, flaming, talking behind people's back, ect.

Honestly this just will detract from rp.... Having an area where people can no rp kill without it making sense for their character? Kinda gets rid of the whole point of a VA application in the first place. Honestly I feel this will not help roleplay, but rather lessen it. I mean why should someone roleplay when they can go to the center of the map and go around killing people at random? There are other methods of obtaining what you are trying to achieve. And in this case, this will create an area people want to avoid. But not for the reasons you are stating. Merely because it will be an area where there will be no rp. In a roleplaying server... And merely pure pvp mess that will cause ooc rage/hate.

I'll keep this short . . . 

I remember walking to Salvus from the Wyvern Sanctuary in Asulon, when I first met Geo. Honestly that was probably one of the best rp I've ever had on this server. He literally scared the daylights out of me in ooc and in rp. But I still thoroughly enjoyed it.  Out of character wise, Geo seems very mature and reasonable. 

So I support this, on the basis that I believe that Geo will make an invaluable member to the GM team on this server.  So a +1 from me.

Reason for Joining/Bio (at least 1 paragraph): Ever since he was a young dwarf, Farren has always had an interest in the art of creation. He was fascinated at what the smiths could create. But as his mother moved from brothel to brothel, Farren never got a chance at an early age to learn the art of smithing. His only chance came at a later age, after he was abandoned by his mother. After a few years of living in isolation a mysterious man rekindled Farrens passion for smithing. This man taught Farren how to make basic tools. Farren continued to hone his skills in basic crafting until the passing of Asulon. Thrust out of isolation, Farren has come to realise how crude and petty are his creations compared to that of the great smiths. What he knew of forging he came to realise that what he had learned was only the tip of the iceberg when it came to the art of smithing. And he truly knew nothing of smithing.

*The nearby dedicant, glances at him nervously. Slightly intimidated by the Pumpkin on his head. Before approaching the letter and reading out it's contents to him.*

* David nods slowly as the Dedicant reads out the contents of the letter to him. After pausing to think for a few seconds, he tells the dedicant to write out what he says and pin it next to the original letter. "I-I'm still v-very much here... Friends, recently there was an outbreak of plague among animals in the Moot Room. I advise you not to go near the room, as we do not know the nature of the contagion at this moment of time. The animals *a tear blotches the rest of the sentance. You barely make out the words "didn't make it..." * I advice extreme caution in this area, as if it is the plague then we may have to deal with an outbreak at the grove. -D

-Character Name: David Ap Dafydd.

-Biography: Witnessing the death of his parent by the hands of a Bandit raiding party on a trading caravan on its way to the city of Al’Khazar at the young age of three. David spent the next few months wondering the wilderness aimlessly trying to survive. After spending three years in the wilderness David was taken In by a group of dwarves traders on their way to David after he had been caught stealing and beaten into a bloody pulp. From then on David was educated in ways of the dwarves. Growing up from then David learned many skills from the dwarves and picked up many skills whilst traveling around the vast land of Aegis. He was named David ap Dafydd by the dwarf that caught him. David was shunned by the other children in the trading caravan because of his race although he was happy and contempt with his life at the time. Nothing can last forever though.

At the age of sixteen whilst the dwarves trading caravan was on its way to trade In Al’Khazar disaster struck as the caravan was hit by disease. The disease quickly killed most of the caravan members and the dwarves trading caravan was disbanded leaving only a handful surviving the disease. Being one of those who had been unaffected by the disease and with no was to call a home. David was forced to live life on the road. Journeying through the land David saw many injustices carried out. Using the skills that he had gained David spent the next four years traveling form tavern to tavern taking on errands of killing mobs and delivering goods. Fed up with the life on the road and wanting to make something of himself David traveled to the Cloud Temple of Aegis.

-Character Appearance: Brown hair and blue eyes. He is tall and has a well muscled body from doing various jobs over the last few years. Clean shaven with a Welsh accent.

-Character Personality: David is a kind person who is always willing to share things with his friends. He is also a very loyal person. But David does not like to speak much. He believes that actions speak louder than words.

-Your ambitions: He wants to live a stable life In the world of Aegis. To become a Wealthy man. David also wants to make something of himself. Another ambition is to become a mighty warrior of great prowess.
