What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:FusionRP; I left because the server had a few corrupt admins, that were no help to anyone. How did you hear about us?: I heard about you from a few friends, from FusionRP Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: No, I have not yet voted for Lord of The Craft. In-Character: Character Name: Caen Verrall What Race are you?: Elf What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): High Elf. Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Caen was born into a semi noble family. The Varrell family was both a merchant and warrior family, focusing on training their sons and daughters to have both a silver tongue, and keen eyes. Caen was always different than the other children, his eyes were sharper, his tongue quicker, his swift movements with his blade smoother, he was the most /elite/ of the Oromis family descendants. Caen was always stuck up, even going so far as being racist, he had despised the other races since childhood, as if non high elves were lesser than himself. Caen struggled to kept friends due to the fact that once he gained the friendship of others, he used that to gain power over them. Caen may be from noble blood, but his intentions are not always that of noble intentions. He struggled to fit into a normal environmental, yet he thrives in what is out of the ordinary to others. His greatest downfall is his arrogance. After many years of betraying his friends, and being hated for what he did, he left his home, and left for the forests of Normandor. Caen spent many years building up his life there, where he currently lives by himself in seclusion. What is your Character's ambitions?: Caen greatest ambition is power, while some of his minor ambition's are knowledge, strength, and influence. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):Caen's favorite weapon is a sword. While his favorite tool is his tongue. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?Caen's most skilled talent is his ability to talk himself out of most any situation. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?Caen casually glides over to them, he quickly evaluates the situation realizing that his tongue won't be of much help, while his minas will be. He conflicts within himself whether to give up his hard earned money to save a complete stranger. In the end his empathy for the halfling over comes his greed. He offers the warriors a fair amount of minas. The warriors greedily take the money, leaving Caen and the halfling alone. The halfling opens up his mouth to speak thanks, before Caen rudely interrupts him with a wave of his hand and walks up. Even though he despises the other races he would prefer any bloodshed to be avoided. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?Caen negates the question wanting to veer the conversation to a different matter, in the hope that he will be able to haggle down the merchant. Once Caen has control of the conversation he begins to casually ask about some of the wares that the merchant has, commenting that maybe they should be a bit less pricey. The merchant disagrees at first, but Caen continues to persist while complimenting the merchant on how well his shop is maintained. Eventually the merchant gives in and he decided the lower the prices, as of that time Caen wonders off the returns in a few hours buying the wares he needs at the price he would like. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:Caen would start off searching for a inscription or any idea of who's hut this is, or who owns the items in the chest. Unable to find either of the two, he puts them safely in his pack. Before he leaves the hut, he puts a sign on the door saying that the items that were in the chest are safe, along with his name, and people he could contact him through. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?Caen would greet them, keeping the subject off that mater of food. He would ask them questions like, "How long have you been traveling with each other." and "What goods are you trading." Once his inquires are done, he politely ask them if they could spare any food for his travel back to his home. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:Caen would first inquire trying to decide if the price was high enough for him to risk his life, while he is also contemplating if the bandits will directly affect him. After a moment of thinking he decides that he will help the guard, in hope of the money, but most importantly his safety.
