  1. Congratulations, Nanatsuno! I enjoy following your progress on skin creation and your ideas floating around the forum. Keep up the good work!
  2. Fairly certain that would violate a rule. Even if it did not, it wouldn't really be keeping to roleplay, especially during a battle there. Also, it is probably a protected area, although I did not test it, where it would not be possible to place blocks to build up to it.
  3. I have extensively surveyed Striqaephoth and have concluded that there is no way (without cheating/hacking) to successfully launch an assault on this "city". It floats above the earth and the only way up would be to swim up the falling lava, which is not possible.
  4. The attack must 'ave come after Ah 'ad returned tah the cathedral as Ah was not witness tah the destruction of Snowy Fields and the massacre of 'er people. Surely thar couldn't 'ave been many defenders thar by that time.
  5. Quests have been temporarily disabled until further notice.
  6. Ah think per'aps that rather than being a Deathwalker, he was more likely purposely committing wrongful acts and shoutin' about Iblees tah come tah the attention of the Deathwalkers so as tah join them. He probably sees 'is execution as a martyrdom fer Iblees. These be evil times that are afoot.
  7. Unholy fiends! Cast off yar evil ways and walk in the Light! In the name of God, Ah deplore yah tah release the captives immediately.
  8. Ah suppose it possible that someone or a group kin assassinate the king, but 'avin' one of the assassins gain enough support tah 'old the throne would be a tad unrealistic. Our king is rather popular amongst the common folk, Ah don't think they'd support the reign of an assassin and usurper.
  9. Aye, we 'ave so much wheat, Ah 'ad tah build another chest yesterday just tah fit it all. Please, buy our wheat.
  10. Lockette works on wooden doors. Why would you think it doesn't?
  11. ((As long as your development continues to the west or north, I don't think there will be a problem. A small mountain range separates us now.))
  12. I have used Lockette on other servers before and must say that it is very easy to learn and use. Will the Pigmen still be aggressive when out at night and will they burn in the morning sun?
  13. Ah would 'ope yah'd find that Ah'm not rude nor grumpy. Thar 'ave been several visitors tah Dunwood the last few weeks and Ah always try tah make them welcome, invitin' them in fer a pint and chattin' with them. Some 'ave settled in the area, others 'ave kept goin' in thar travels. And anyone is welcome in the cathedral now that it is done.
  14. Funerary Notice Friends and family of Biodoc Goodbody, late of Dunwood, funeral services for the deceased will be 'eld at St. Dan's Cathedral near Dunwood to 'onor 'is life. A short service by Bishop Stromgaul will be followed by an eulogy from one of Master Goodbody's close friends. After the service, mourners will 'ave the chance tah pay thar respects at 'is burial mound, then join 'is family at the Dunwood Ale 'ouse fer a pint in remembrance of the departed. Date and time are still being arranged.
  15. Now Petyr, do yah really think Ah'd try tah take away yar ale and tobaccah? Really now, Ah am a 'alfling too yah know.
  16. St. Dan's Cathedral, the episcopal see of the Diocese of Dunwood, is now open fer services. The first service will be the funeral of our dearly departed brethren, Biodoc Goodbody. Ah will preach a small funerary then commit 'is body to rest in the new 'alfling cemetery next tah the cathedral. The cathedral will serve the entire 'alfling community - the villages of Dunwood, Thistledown, and Greenshire. Ah will officiate thar during regular 'ours as the Bishop of Dunwood and visit the villages to provide spiritual guidance and confession as needed. Donations tah the cathedral will be forwarded tah the Temple fer the resurrection of the clergy. -Orlin Stromgaul, Bishop of Dunwood
  17. Aye, per'aps we are too quick tah judge strangers, but thar be many villains, bandits, and general ne'erdowells in this world and we 'alflings don't 'ave much in the way of defences. Many of 'em who come tah visit also 'ave in mind a desire tah live 'ere, and tis easier tah deny 'em entry rather than waxing long about the reasons they can't.
  18. Ah 'ave a small shop fer sale in Al'Khazan if yar interested. Tis between the docks and main gate. Should still 'ave the fer sale sign on it.
  19. I appreciate the offer, but I make all of my own skins, keeping the same head for each.
  20. I appreciate the offer, but I make all of my own skins, keeping the same head for each.
  21. What skin editor is that you use? I have never seen it before.
  22. What skin editor is that you use? I have never seen it before.
  23. ((Normally, I can be found in Dunwood several hours a day as well, although roofers accidentally severed my internet cable yesterday morning, so I have not been online in nearly 2 days. I'll be back tomorrow.))
  24. Aye, which is why Dunwood will never be the capital of the 'alflings, but rather remain as a village. The settlement Ah 'ave in mind would be larger and open to settlement by any 'alfling who wishes tah settle thar as well as other races. 'owever, Dunwood and Thistledown make up the current 'eartland of 'alfling culture, being the only two 'alfling settlements in the world and near each other.
  25. Eventually, as our race develops further, we'll need an open racial capital fer 'alflings of all types tah settle in. After all, we 'alflings 'ave the most developed culture and community of all the subraces in Aegis, and it is becomin' more advanced everyday. As Thistledown and Dunwood 'ave been mentioned as bein' close, per'aps they will become the center of a 'alfling autonomous region within the Kingdom of Oren. Thar are definitely benefits tah remainin' a vassal of the 'uman kingdom, most notably defense.
