  1. Tristin groans upon scanning over the idiotic missive, his lips curling into a frown that displayed his frustration. With the combined effort of himself and his coffers through hiring various elven peons, each missive would have a large parchment pinned beside it.

"To the Mali' whom believe such a decision will bring great change or harm to the Dominion. To be blunt, you are wrong and stupid. Artimec and myself, Tristin Tresery brought the Mali'ame from the shambling position they held within Athera to a golden age with the aid of Oren. During my time of leading for well over a century, the Mali' and the Dominion flourished from the pitiful state they once were.

However, due to myself leaving my post the only potential replacement for the Dominion, previous High Prince Aenor Calithil was found incapable of fulfilling his duties for various reasons. Do not take this as disrespect, for the man was both intelligent and strong, but he failed to hold the Dominion to a standard that both myself and Artimec upheld for well over a century under our guiding hands. At the time being, there is not a single Mali' capable of bringing my Mali' back besides myself, yet for the time being I will be absent from my long held post. Therefore it's required the Dominion will need assistance in keeping it's people safe and prosperous for the time.

Certainly a man with the named Laethis, reminiscent of a ruler who's failed several times, is absolutely incapable of rekindling my people. Any attempts by himself to ruin my people as well will lead to my personal return for the simple act of ending his idiotic attempt at squabbling for power."

  2. An Elder Paladin of Xan promptly pens a response.

"Please don't include my Patron and brethren within your writing after the idiotic mistake your Ascended and the Cleric's made. Whilst Xan and his kin shall continue the eternal battle with those whom seek to enact their wretched power upon the descendants, we are not with those of the Clerics and Ascended whom have yet to mend the mistakes they've made. Time and time again you were warned by my brethren and myself, but alas, you were far too interested in being 'heroes' and could not see the obvious fault in what you all did.

A bunch of fools believing that the fragments of The Great Deceiver himself would not deceive you. To Heial and Elvira, the leaders of both respective Orders, you are daft. Elvira however: You bring me the greatest disappointment. Not listening to your fellow brethren in which the bond of Tahariae and Xan is so great and instead blindly following the Ascended whom time and time again have proven how inept they are. Their numbers might be large, but that means nothing when the quality of the Ascended has become lower than the common Raevir peasant being conscripted for battle. The numbers of the Ascended are diluted with idiots who know not how to think and not how to fight, yet you follow them instead. Disappointment.

    Signed,
                  Varellis, Prophet of Xan

  3. The last Keeper of Xan had yet to write a letter like the last brethren, instead resorting to a brief and controlled series of laughter before muttering. "Ah, the Ascended were betrayed by the fragment of an Anegul known as the great deceiver. Something they were warned about time and time again. But alas, they were far too desperate to be the hero of the story and ignored any possible logic in their attempts of reviving this monstrosity."

you guys are making sure he isnt hiding diamond/iron blocks on this map right

  6. as keeper dad i approve of this application

only thing I suggest is rereading the section of the lore regarding Keepers and their ability to heal themselves which is significantly dwindled as a result of their unique state. For most healing/major wounds/etc they're required to regenerate themselves within the chancery.

  7. I feel like those arguing that Tah magic should be capable of harming Keeper's have absolutely no clue what they're talking about especially in regards to Xan's history with Tahariae. Which from what I'm reading is probably true. Tahariae aided Xan in creating his own version of the Itharel, now known as Xan's Keepers. The cleric, Daniel Baelish (Itharel and head macho man at the time i believe) specifically aided in this by helping Xan create the first Keeper, Herun Athna. Further, Xan and Tahariae have a great amount of history spanning back towards the creation of the aengul Xan. When Xan fell, it was his battle brother Tahariae whom revived him so the duo could continue their great conquest.  Now why exactly would Tahariae allow his magic to harm his brother in arms?

I like you, you're a fun guy to hang around.

The most interaction I've ever had with Toren is holding his ass in my characters arms when he was just a little baby so I can't really give one.

Bahaha. I'm pretty sure you play on 1.7.10 so ya, it's pretty OP on earlier versions. Too easy. Later versions they made it much much more lategame and it takes a lot of power to get into. I also was of such a mind and pretty much Vetoed using it for a while, in 1.10+ it's really intensive.

Edit: Also as an aside, just so you know if Vaskii (Botania mod author) saw you say this he'd be internally screaming. He has stated many times he designed botania to be less about grinding/max power and more about cool mechanics and systems. He'd probably punch you if he got a chance (This is the reason why mana pools don't have #'s on them.)

Yeah I played it on 1.7.10, no clue about the later version.

Tfw a mod author thinks making end game bosses and end game gear w/ a tedious mana system won't attract people who grind hardcore for endgame.

Relics are kind of garbage these days except for Odyn, the new "Excalibur" (Key of King's Law) is cool but kinda useless half the time and doesn't do nearly as much damage as, say, a maxed out Wyvern Sword from Draconic Evolution. Now Psi? There's a mod with potential. Really enjoying some of the new stuff though in 1.10+ Draconic Evolution. Right there is a tough mod, lots of grinding high payoff.

Yeah the excalibur replacement is absolutely trash it was massively disappointing. However get a terrasteel blade w/ vampirism and sharpness 5? Absolutely monstrous. The lifesteal procs off the ranged shots of the terrasteel blade and it makes you unkillable.    Draconic evolution honestly from all the reading I've done doesn't look like that difficult of a grind in comparison to botania/thaumcraft. There was a gentlemens agreement amongst us all on the FTB server we wouldn't dabble in Draconic because of how disgustingly overpowered it is.
