    Personally based only off of what you said it would sound even more like whoever rushed his training is at fault.  In what world do you blame somebody who was rushed through a training and not the trainer?  Now I don't know how much merit what you say holds or if there are GMs/Admins that made the decision to push him through quickly but at the very least what seems the most fair and logical thing to do would be to put the guy through a trial period once more to ensure that he's understanding.

    You'd think professionally, if someone doesn't believe they are ready, they would deny the one up.

    Just saying that here.

  2. Can we at least be a little lax with Dwarven and Orc history events?

    Currently, I am doing an expedition in which we plunge into a Thanium pit. Ziko/Bloodnight brought up the idea of having it relate to some part of Dwarven history, which was about the Deep Dwarves. I didn't mind it, and thought it would be neat.

    About a week ago I think, Bloodnight said something along the lines of how we couldn't do anything Deep Dwarf related at all, due to them not being here in this plain or whatever and you guys denied the idea. In my mind, I was a little sad since we were also going to connect them with the Deep Roads and I was never truly around for true Dwarven events, other than the train wreck and dismissal of the Grand Hall event we had in Athera.

    I understand lore wise you may have it as one thing for the Deep Dwarves, but what is stopping us from using them in the future? Who says they themselves havent found ways to travel through portals as we have? After all, in lore I was told they were pretty advanced.

    I don't want to say shafted, but when it comes to Dwarven and Orcish history, we're literally denied when we want to do something. Either it's the LMs or the ET, though it's been changing recently. I just hope you guys think of us in the future when/if we want to do events relating to things that have already been done but never finished.

  3. [!] A new notice is posted towards the current and future Dwed who wish to partake in the research for the expedition [!]

    "As of now, the research division of this expedition is now disbanded. Due to recent events, things have been made easier within this field. I apologize to those who wished for the money and/or those who looked forward to working together to create something new."

    Tbh you lot are completely missing the point. It wouldnt be an IC vote. . .

    But regardless, though it sounds good on paper, it likely wouldnt work. Just like communism.

    I don't believe we are.

    I just pointed out that any voting in particular, OOC or RP, is not the Orcish way.

    Yes, Shamans are important to Orc culture, but in this situation they shouldn't be. It would literally be like the Dwarves and their nominating/voting for Grand King. It would just be a major circle jerk.

  6. [!] A new post would could be seen around the Dwarven lands [!]

    "To all who have seen the previous poster for the Goldhand Expedition looking for Legion guards, this poster is to say that we are no longer looking for guards. We have found something that suits our needs just fine. We are sorry for not responding sooner. Thank you"

  7. I like the idea of fighting for the leadership with Pvp with the orcs. Makes them different other than say all the other races who vote.

    I am not up to snuff with orc hierarchy at all, but the last time I checked, I thought Wargoths were the only ones allowed to fight each other for Rex? If not, then I think going back to that would be the best pay, since they would be the only ones to PVP each other. If it is still in effect, then I don't think anything needs to change.

    I see the Orcs as a race that can be both the most organized yet the most disorganized when it comes to government. If it were more organized with voting, then it wouldn't feel Orcish anymore, which saddens me since I see you all as big lovable savages. Though you guys left behind some iconic cultural things, such as pissing on skulls, I really don't think you guys should go to voting.

    Such could happen with rp of course. But this is from a view of a person who is just creating their character or already has. While this can happen through proper rp, the reason we didn't include this was because we would have players creating kharajyr kittens, saying they we're told and forced to act this way in rp, which they we're not, as an excuse to literally be a cat. If such happened through valid and proper rp then yes it can happen, but not just creating a new personna 'It happened ok just let me be a cat' cannot happen.

    Of course, I was just saying this so that it could be part of the thread so people would have the vague idea to actually start rp'ing to make their enslaved kittens actually like kittens instead of them just acting like it. The people who do own these kittens, and let them get away with acting like the kittens you all despise, should be the ones who get chastised. Something needs to be done about them so they can have some form of common sense in trying to RP this whole house cat business correctly.

  11. Why anymore wants to play a kitten is beyond me.

    There is literally no point in it at all.

    Other than that, I would have to disagree with you on a point.

    One being,

    Kharajyr kittens are not intended to be played as pets. Kha’ kittens do not meow. They do not beg for table scraps, or follow others around like your average, everyday cat. Kittens do not wield swords, or wear armor. They do not draw bows or fling spears either. A kitten is a child, not a soldier or a pet.

    This actually happens irl. It's called slavery. People who kidnap/buy kids at such a tender age could literally be told to do whatever their owner asks. If humans could do it to other humans, the races on LoTC could very well turn a Kharajyr child, which looks like an ocelot to many, to be taught like an actual domesticated animal.

    I know this isn't really the train of thought you're going with this, seeing as how probably no one instills this behavior upon the kitten probably, but I think it's pretty obvious this kind of thing, if RP'd, can actually be a thing. I'm pretty sure you'd already thought of this but I feel as though this should be addressed in some way.

    I think the fact you're able to do a meme leaving thread without anyone really caring or mournfully sobbing over your perceived loss speaks worlds for you, yourself, your attitude, your circle of friends, and how exclusive they are of the rest of the majority of the server.

    Holy ****.

    Someone please stop this madness.

    The First Grand Goldhand Expedition

    9th of The Grand Harvest, 1551

    Kal'Akash, Capital City of The Dwarves

    ===================================

    On this day, The First Goldhand Expedition takes it's place as one of the first expeditions in the kingdom in quite a number of years. Headed by the recently installed Clan Father of the Goldhand Clan, where the expedition gets it's name from, the main goal in this expedition is treasure and a name for the clan, but mostly treasure in Durack Goldhand's eyes. In this public letter to the Grand King, or others who have an interest in this expedition, the materials, personnel, technology, and money required to run it will be listed.

    The Dig will be situated in the Thanium Pit due south of the capital, reachable by cart.

    ===================================

    Technology:

    Though this is the first expedition, due to the extreme effects of Thanium, we require research to be done in the field of Thanium resistance. We wish to apply it to armor so that no one may freeze to death while exploring whatever we find in the pit. The personnel for us to achieve this goal can be from mages, enchanters, alchemists, runesmiths, or whoever knows anything about resisting the cold effects are necessary for this expedition so we will not be picky on who the benefactor choose.

    ===================================

    Personnel:

    The main and only treasure hunters of this expedition are to be the Goldhand Clan members. These include, but in the coming days may not be limited to;

    Durack Goldhand, Leader of The Expedition

    Conan Goldhand, Clan Senator

    Orrireat Goldhand, Clan Member

    Ethildor Goldhand, Clan Member

    The other members of the expedition are to be guards, which may include legion members of the Dwarves, another town's army, or a mercenary group. There are to be few in number, so around 5 or so warriors will be needed. If the digging is said to be more dangerous than originally thought to be, then more guards will be hired. The guards will only be payed in minas, and if found to harbor artifacts or other treasures from the dig, then they will be beaten  on the spot for stealing from the expedition as a whole until they release the treasure.

    If you are an individual who houses soldiers, such as a King or a mercenary leader, then contact me on who you wish to send.

    Note: Since this is Dwarven land, we may be in need of someone who knows the old tongue, as I, Duack Goldhand do not. If this happens, we will take anyone who knows and add them to the main personnel.

    ===================================

    Materials:

    The materials needed for this dig is simple. All that is needed are supplies of wood, wool, pickaxes, anti-Thanium armor, weapons, material crafting benches, storage chests, food with a freezer, and, though not necessary, a Dwarven drill. I have heard tales of one being built and would like to see it in action. It could speed up the process and perhaps require less pickaxes to tunnel through whatever we need to get through. Other than that, it would be all.

    As soon as we get a base camp created, everything should be fine within this area.

    ===================================

    Expenses:

    We wish to pay our guards around 300 minas each, and if done a superb job at defending the main delvers, while also not taking any of the haul, will look to be payed an extra 200 minas.

    Overall Expenses: 4000 Minas

    (Expenses may be talked over with the benefactor. Seeing as how the benefactor will be paying us, it will be necessary to pay whomever they supply for us. This can also change due to different factions wishing to be benefactors.)

    Signed,

    Durack Goldhand, Clan Father of The Goldhand Clan and Leader of The Goldhand Clan Expedition
