The Crusader States. Their purpose The Crusader states, honest, noble men with heart. Fighting for what they truly believe is right, and never stopping. The warriors are poor at first but, will never fight for money. Simply to live free in Asulon. Coming from outcasts to nobles and all races, the leaders are not yet nobles, however hope to one day be. Crusaders always treat others with respect unless they do not deserve it. True gentlemen. They live by the philosophy of, get free, or die trying. The men are not knights of a king, but knights of a cause. Their reason in feeling as slaves, is because they believe the kings of asulon are not true kings, and are in no way noble they do not support freedom or a right to trial. They won't stop fighting until their families are truly free. The men will run the first Crusade against the kings of Asulon who don’t support independence. Who do they consist of? Oddly enough, The Crusaders consist of a group of once pirates, and a group of Knights. You might ask why Pirates would have anything to do with Knights and here is the reason. The pirates are not like the Pirates most people think of. Just like Knights, they were gentlemen, and fought for their freedom. They only consumed the name pirate because they mainly travelled and sea, and were sailors most their lives. Also used pirate terms and fought in the battle for Skull Port. Venessa and Draco met through a friend of there’s named Igneber. Who realized that they were both good people and should ally. Leaders There are two “Leaders” of the Crusaders however they treat each men in the Army as an equal. Draco Natus the II is the leader of the land force. Whilst Venessa who’s last name isn’t known to many. Is the leader of the Naval force. Going more in depth with Draco. His father was a member of The Teutonic order back in Aegis, and very good friend of their old leader Gaius Marius. He was the leader of The Knights of Capax but, after meeting Vanessa and her group of sailors and realizing they were both for the same cause, they decided to join forces. Not much is known of Vanessa except that she was the leader of the “Crimson Pirates” or “Bloodlust Brigands” and that she is also, a very noble warrior. Her father was a notorious bandit and she is no longer content with that type of life. She may be referred to at times as “Doll Face” because it was her old pirate nickname. Why the “Crusader States”? They chose the name because they are Crusading against the Evil kings and people of Asulon in an attempt to recreate and bring the world to justice. At times they may be referred to as Crusaders and Knights. Not because they were given the name by someone but, given the name by a cause. The States plan to hold a fair amount of land, however not become near Nations size anytime soon. Draco feels that the word “Crusader” will catch peoples eye as there has never been a Crusade in Asulon. Venessa and Draco plan to lead the first. They are fighting for independence which is why they often say the fight for freedom. They are ready to fight against any and all nations who do not support independence. Ranks They treat each man as an equal because they feel if they give their life for a noble cause, they should be respected highly. However there is a council of most trusted men, that can lead the army if ever needed. The slight ranks that they do have are to show which have more leadership, not which should get more respect. Why did the two groups join? Draco had soon realized his small group of Knights didn’t have money for the campaigns they needed to go on. As Draco spoke to the different kings about his noble cause they accused him of being a fraud, and that his Knights would never be successful in any way. Draco’s men, as well as Venessa’s vowed to rid Asulon of the evil kings that inhabit it. In a fight for freedom, and true, independence. Draco’s father always spoke of wanting a life outside the Order because he felt he wasn’t a free man. Venessa on the other hand was sick of The Holy Oren Empire, and soon realized after her uncles betrayal that she wanted people treated differently, she hopes that independence will make people less evil in the long run. Because they won’t be treated so poorly. Venessa’s also did not want to follow in her father’s footsteps of being a notorious person, and instead wanted to help people in need. She saw this as an opening to quit her Pirate life and venture off into a new life. "FREEDOM"

(Your right, we aren't exactly Knights. However our goal is to one day be. So to quickly fix your answer, when it says "Respected as a noble" it means respected in our order, not in others eyes. Thanks for trying though man.)

The Knights of Capax *Purpose* Our purpose in Asulon is to rid the world of what we see is wrong. Especially with recent strange events and fear of the returning Undead. The word "Capax" means capable. The knights are a highly honorable and noble group of all races. They respect each race with equal quality. We also are a very militaristic force. We hope to rid the land of any thing we see unfit, with strong force. One of the main quests if The Knights is to reach out to those new in Asulon, giving them a home, food, and even pay for there greater deeds. *Leader* The leader of The Knights is Draco Natus the Second. His father was a member of The Teutonic Order back in Aegis, and fought with them against the Undead. He was a very talented warrior taking place in battles such as: The Battle for Snowy Fields 1 and 2, The Defense of Cassandra Land, and The Taking of Oren's capitol city Alk'Hazar. Draco is very fond of his fathers journals and keeps them hidden. He learns knowledge that was kept secret in Aegis due to what his father wrote in the journals. He knows things about the Undead that many don't. He is a very Noble and Respectable person, warrior, and Teacher, as well as a Master with the Sword. Draco will do whatever he see's fit to change Asulon the way The Knights would want it. he's a firm believer of Power in Numbers. *The Starting of the Order* *Fire rains from the sky as a storm strikes Alras* Draco looks to the sky, "There back? What my father spoke of was true then... I must go to see if it's true." On Draco's Journey to Alras he met several people who wished to help. The one who became his most trusted friend was James Niccum. A very noble man and Amazing Blacksmith. After arriving at Alras, they found others waiting to see the Undead. Draco and a friend named Aranel went to around the Alrasian military keep only to find strange men in hooded clothes. They were holding staffs that were spoken of in is fathers Journals. This was key in Draco understanding that the Undead had returned. Him self, a poor man named Odis, Aranel, and James all vowed to rid the world of the Evils to come. "James" "Yes Draco?" "Make me a fine sword" *James Chuckles and walks to his Anvil. "Right away Sir." and thus the Order, was Started. *Reason to Join* -Glorious battles in all Asulon. -Wealth, a home, and food. -Respected as a Noble by others. A chance at making a name for yourself in Asulon. *The Ranks* Grand Master - The leader of the Knights, the one to make all military decisions and political. Seneschal - The Second in command, the right hand man of the Grand Master. Also administrate's if the Grand Master is not present. Knight - Truly talented warriors, one of the most trusted ranks to lead assaults along side the Grand Master. Paladin - A strong opponent to any man, very respected, and great role model for any lower ranks. Equilite - The middle rank. A respected man. At this point you are expected to do exactly whats asked of you, with little or no mistakes. Man at Arms - Slowly making your way. You are expected do what your asked at all times, with little objection. Swordsman - The initiation rank. Respected but, not completely trusted until your rank has increased. *Application* The only way is to have a personal conversation with Draco_Natus.
